Not wanting ti revealed what she did Sidney said, "The reason for my coming is, that I wanted to know if that was true, my sister was speaking about it so I wanted to make sure she won't be scammed. You know it has many people using agencies' names and committing fraud?"

"That is so true, ma'am."

When the taxi driver said, "You are so right Ma'am; and not only that, my sister got caught in a scam a few years back. She had a pen pal through Facebook, and as the months go by, he asked her to marry him.

She consulted no one about this, and as time went on, he keep sending pictures of beautiful gifts items he bought for her, saying he will send her the gifts.

Then he will visit, also he was making arrangements for her to join him, so when they get married, she will have everything for when she has to travel.

From what she said to us, he said for her to get the packages of the gift he bought for her, she had to send the money to clear the package.

Boy that was a disaster she borrows money unknown to us, and did the transaction, only to realise he had scammed her all the money she deposited into a bogus account.

So these people don't have any mercy. And Ma'am it took her more than a year to offset that credit and up to this day after two years she hasn't recovered from his deception."

Sidney listens to the driver thinking he couldn't be lying about something so serious, when he said, "Ma'am and just like how you are travelling and we are talking, another woman passenger was telling me what happen to her. And this is for real what I am telling you because she shew me the letters, pictures and documents she took to the fraud squad.

Ma'am this woman was in her fifties and was a widow, she said this person send her a message telling her she wanted to give her an inheritance of almost thirty-five million dollars from her late husband's account who was a doctor towards missionary work.

She claims she was in her eighties and was ailing and the doctor gave her a few months because she has cancer.

She said that she reply to the message saying she wasn't interested and she was happy with the little she had."

Sidney waited attentively to hear what the driver was going to say, she knew from his tone of voice he was relating yet another true report.

But he was silent for a few minutes leaving her in suspense as though he was recollecting what had been discussed with the person, "Ma'am, the woman had saved all her messages on a flash drive then print each letter.

She said the person continues to message her until she heard the woman saying she was a Christian, and she had no children and didn't want to leave the inheritance to her in-laws who weren't Christians.

She said the woman wanted to give it to someone trustworthy and will use it for the kingdom of God. Ma'am when my passenger said hearing she was a Christian and she is a missionary. She thought it was a blessing from the Lord to do some good in the world so she agreed.

She said the woman said she need to send an account number for them to forward the cash. I could still recall how she was laughing. She said that woman think I was a fool, so she withdraw most of the cash, only leaving three hundred dollars in the account and forwarding the account number to her.

Then she said, the woman's lawyer called saying, that she have to send nine thousand eight hundred dollars to offset the lawyer's fee to take the matter to the court.

Ma'am, she said she send a message to the woman telling her, what the lawyer said, and the woman said to her, don't send any money to them and she will speak to the lawyer. The woman sounds so angry at that time. Ma'am my passenger said she believe that the woman was honest and genuine so she went along.

Then a few days later the lady send word to my passenger saying she didn't respond earlier because she had to go for treatment and she only received a message from her lawyer.

Ma'am my passenger said the woman wrote and told her in her email that she is now able to respond to her but she only has a few hundred to help, so if she wants the inheritance she will have to offset the lawyer expenses.

Hearing her laugh made me feel she get the inheritance, but when she said, God does give His children wisdom to deal with schemers and swindlers. She told the woman, your late husband is a millionaire and you don't have money to pay the lawyer just a measly few thousand.

She told her she was not too busy to get rich fast, and if there's any truth to an inheritance then so be it, because she has no money to send. Ma'am, she said the person stop communicating with her immediately. In her last letter to the woman, she thank her for all the letters and said she had sufficient evidence to take to the fraud squad.

Ma'am and she did, she also showed me a report she had where she took all the letters she had from the person to the fraud squad. She said the reason she didn't get caught with the woman's trickery, for easy money, is because when her husband died, she also received a letter stating her husband win a lottery of eleven million pounds.

And the same amount the letter states for her to send to offset the legal fees, the woman's lawyer asked her to send the said amount almost eleven years ago. She said that's what causes her to know it was a scam.

Ma'am sometimes these people are so convincing it will make you feel you are stupid if you don't take the chance but it was a fraud.
