ENJOY THE BLESSING

Walking away before she finds something else to ask, Vince hurried along, thinking she always wants to know his business.

Stopping suddenly and turns around saying, "Aunty, since we are having a discussion, I haven't seen Remmy and Carlos this week at work, do tell them I need to speak with them."

"Vince, you are always in their case, and Charles is Mr Nice boy and gets to stay home."

"Aunty, who does GP, ask to drive him around?"

"Charles!"

"So, if I ask Charles to come into the office with me, who will take GP around?"

"Carlos or Remmy could do that Vince."

"Okay, Aunty, I will tell GP from tomorrow Remmy, will be driving him around, and Charles will join me at the office, will that please you?"

"Vince, it is not a matter of who will be please, Charles gets to stay home and my boys have to work."

"Aunty, I do all the heavy work managing the business, only Remmy and Carlos have to overseer the drivers to make sure all the delivery and contracts we have are run as scheduled and ensure all the vehicles are in working order.

Now if the boys are complaining and it is becoming a problem for you, then I will speak to GP about the business. Right now my main concern is the business running successfully and functioning just as when GP puts me in charge.

I am glad that you inform me that they are displeased with their position, so I will begin looking around for a replacement."

"Vince, I am not saying that, if you let them go now where will they get another job, you know it is difficult to find work these days. And your grandfather only has allowance allocated for just a few family members?"

"That is not my concern Aunty, so please let them know if they want to continue working to be at the job site, the family business is not an arrangement.

Oh, and Aunty tells them I need to speak to them tomorrow morning in the office. I don't want GP to hear us and become angry, you know what happen when he began stressing out?"

In the mean, while I have to speak to GP about this new arrangement of Charles returning to the office and Remmy driving him around instead of Charles."

Turning around hearing GP asking, "Vince, did I hear you saying you need Charles in the office with you."

"Yes, GP, but don't worry, Remmy will be here to drive you around."

"Anyone, could tell me where Richard is?"

"Dad, Richard has gone to the store."

"And Carlos?"

"I can't say."

"Then if my guess is correct, he must be with that young lady from the bar."

"Dad, they are young men, we can't tie them down in the house all the time so let them enjoy their free time."

"You give them permission to live a life just as you grow up, having no responsibility just living free, now call Remmy since Charles is visiting his wife's family, I need to do some business in town."

"Dad, Remmy is not home." Aunty Myrtle replies

"Then don't do my business for me, just enjoy the blessings, now Vince tell me when last has Carlos and Remmy been in the office?"

"GP, don't worry about that, I will handle it."

"I suppose you will, just as you are handling my means of transportation."

Looking at Aunty Myrtle angry with her, now because of her stupid interference, I am getting rebuke. "GP, why are you worrying, I could drive you to town, Sidney is visiting her mom and, on our way, back we could pass by and collect her." Thinking, 'What business does he want to do today?'

"Good, I need to speak with you."

"GP, I hope you know today is Monday and it is very busy?" Vince notices the way he looks at him and then scratches his head.

Turning to aunty when GP left, "If you want to defend the boys, feel free to do so, but don't tell me how to do my business?"

Walking away hearing her grumbling, entering his room, he was shocked to see Sidney lying on the sofa with a wet washrag resting on her head, asking himself, "Did she visit her mother and when did she return home?"

Looking at his time seeing it was already half twelve, going to the kitchen seeing the meal was already prepared? "Molly, please, dishes out a plate for my wife."

"Sir, the family will have lunch next twenty minutes."

"I know Molly, but my wife is not feeling well, she will eat in the room when she awakes."

"Okay, Sir."

Entering the Hall seeing GP waiting, "Vince, are you ready, Son?"

"Just give me a few minutes GP, let me drop this for Sidney, and then we will leave."

"Your wife is home, Son?"

"Yes, she returns while I was speaking with Aunty."

"Okay, then don't bother, you stay with her, I will get Michael to run this errand with me."

"GP, I don't mind just let me rest this tray for her."

"Vinceson, your wife needs you; after all, she has been through, you stay with her, I will be fine. I will drop by the office and see to everything "

Seeing her turn after a few hours, "Sidney, are you awake? Get up and eat something."

"I am not hungry but I could do with a hot cup of tea, it might help with this headache."

"Okay, I will get Molly to fix you one."

Waiting until he left the room, Sidney sits up seeing ten minutes has gone already and he didn't return. Sidney gets off the sofa thinking 'Maybe, if I soak my head, it should help cool it down.'

Going to the bathroom, just allowing the cold water to soak her head. Half an hour must have gone by before she returns to the sofa wearing her robe and her hair twirling between the towels.
