Charles could not believe Vince would think such a thing, "Vince, I know GP are always up to his old tricks, but when it comes to people's lives, he doesn't play around with it."

"I am so confused at times Charles, Sidney does think very quickly so I don't know if she figures out that GP had nothing to do with Gilbert's promotion after he came looking for her when the men fail to kill her?"

"Figure out what Vince?"

"Charles you are not listening to what I am saying, It was Sidney who thought that GP must have given Gilbert the promotion."

Charles sees when Vince took a deep breath then he looks at him before he said, "Sidney was the one who knows Gilbert burned down Haley's auditorium. She also knew he swindled the fifty thousand she invested when they were courting.

What I don't think she is aware of is he was married, and they were courting for two years and more."

It was at that moment Vince ask himself, 'They didn't seems to know much about each other within that duration. He had concealed so many things from her and she did likewise, yet he knew about her business.

Maybe that is because they were going to get married at the hall, but it seems he didn't know about her holding a blackbelt and could defend herself because if he did he wouldn't have just sent four men to try and kill her.

Is it possible to be friends with a person who claims to love you and you can miss all this vital information?

I love Sidney and I am ready to do anything for her, yet as soon as things went sour for Gilbert he was ready to kill her.

Boy love is so blind thinking about it now I thought I love Chrystal and when Sidney left it was only then that I realized if I had married her it would have been a huge mistake. What I want to know now is, whether Sidney was pressured to get married, when she didn't want to.

From what I gathered at the beginning before we got married, she didn't want to get married, she is a very independent person and could easily fend for herself without asking anyone. And she loves her family and will do anything not to hurt them, and now she does the same for my family.'

Saying to Charles, "On our wedding day, Gilbert showed up insulting her, that is why her hall was burned, he was angry with her."

When Vince murmured, "Who besides my family was there at the wedding who knew Gilbert because they had given him an invitation to the wedding?"

"Because Sidney wanted to get back to Golbert for leaving her at the church, so she told him she will marry him the next Saturday after our wedding."

"If that is the case the only person besides the family was Chrystal."

"So could it be that Sidney's dream is true?" What do you mean?"

"Never mind, driving to the back of the house Vince said almost in a whisper, "Look Charles, please don't whisper a word of what we discussed to anyone not even to Venessa."

Noticing the nod he reverse the van where everyone was. Alighting the van glimpsing Sidney helping with the preparation, 'She looks so beautiful and where did she get that dress, did she buy that the day she went to town?

Her makeup was beautifully applied so mild yet it had worked in perfectly with her outfit.' It was only then he realized she had gone to church, how could I be so forgetful, she doesn't miss her church service?'

From the time Charles and I reached Chrystal never took her eyes away from me, 'I might be wrong but something tells me she is up to something. Now and again Vince notices Chrystal throw a glance at Sidney who seems to be focused on what she was doing.

Sidney notices the way Chrystal keeps looking at Vince and he does the same, 'Those two think I am a fool, I hope he knows this time when I leave this house is no returning, grandfather or no grandfather and I am not going to feel guilty?'

Vince waited until all the chicken was seasoned and set aside, then he went to where Sidney was attending to the preparing of the fresh salad. She had a smile plastered on her face

Chrystal glanced at them, 'I must put a wedge between them, thinking after a week not being here when I reach he might be happy but he was furious, now they are together.

From what I noticed she is still angry with him so I could use that to my advantage, I am sure an opportunity will present itself before we finish this afternoon.'

Bending his head resting his chin on her shoulder. "I hope you are not working that hand of yours too hard?"

"Why do you concern yourself about me, or do you want the family to feel you care?"

"I do care, inspire of what you may think, and I know you care a lot for me. I must also thank, you for fixing all those goodies yesterday, you made my family very happy. Now if you don't mind, I need my breakfast, I am starving."

"Molly is in the kitchen and as you see I am busy."

Turning her slightly, Sidney immediately notices how angry he becomes, "If you are not fixing my breakfast then I will fast."

Angry with her for ignoring his wishes, I was hoping Chrystal will see us eating together or even she had prepared my breakfast. When she said, "As you wish I don't care."

Compleating the salad seeing Vanda and Chrystal working with Aunty Joyce with the macaroni salad.

Uncle Myles and Uncle Richard were helping with the steaming of the chicken while Remmy and Carlos were helping their mother with the fried rice.

Vince and Charles were setting up the grill, the way things are going we should be done by two. I am sure Molly must be busy slicing the garlic bread.
