21 Edgeshot's Appreciation

The day of the internship came, all the students and Aizawa-sensei gathered at the station to send everyone off. "You've brought your costumes, right? Remember, you are not allowed to wear it in public. Don't lose it either." Aizawa said.

"YES SIR!" Ashido exclaimed.

"Talk normally, 'Yes sir'." Aizawa said.

"Yes sir." Ashido said more quietly.

"Make sure to guard your mind and attitude with the hero in your internship. Just that. You can go now." Aizawa said.

"Iida." call Haku when everything is disbanded.

Midoriya and Uraraka who were about to call Iida stopped beside Haku. Iida turned around and looked at the three friends.

"Iida, whatever you want to do later at the internship, stop and just focus on the internship. Doing so won't do any good for you." Haku's words made Iida, Midoriya, and Uraraka confused.

"What do you want to say?" Iida asked.

"Your eyes right now, are eyes that want revenge. You want to take revenge on Stain for hurting your brother right?" Haku said which took the three of them by surprise.

"Iida-kun wants to take revenge on Stain?" Uraraka asked in disbelief.

"Is that true, Iida-kun?" Midoriya exclaimed who was getting more and more worried about Iida.

Iida was silent as he lowered his head. "Then what should I do with this feeling in my heart?" Iida asked while gripping his hand tightly.

"You are still very weak right now. If you are faced with Stain who has already killed several pro heroes, you will definitely be immediately defeated and killed. As class president, I forbid you to take revenge. Leave Stain to the pro heroes instead." Haku said seriously.

Iida, who heard that, remained silent for a while, then finally left, leaving the three friends who were worried about him. Haku started to leave too. "Haku, are you not going to stop Iida again? It seems he has no intention of retreating." Midoriya said while holding Haku's arm.

"I warned him. I won't say it twice. It's his decision to listen to me or not." Haku said then left.

Haku went to The Lurkers agency by train and arrived at the agency within 30 minutes. Arriving at The Lurkers agency, he saw several sidekicks working there looking at him with confused looks. "You, aren't you a UA student? What are you doing here?" Ask one of the sidekick who was there.

"Aren't you Yuki Haku? Yesterday's sports festival winner? You're doing great!".

"Thank you for the compliment. I came here because I wanted to do an internship. Edgeshot sent me an offer." Haku said.

"Ohh.. So you finally arrived huh? Edgeshot is waiting for you in his office. I'll take you to his office. Follow me." Said Kamui woods who had just arrived from within the agency.

"Thank you…" Before Haku finished speaking, he immediately jumped to avoid the sudden attack that came from behind him. When seen, it turns out that Edgeshot attacked Haku from behind. Everyone who was there was shocked and looked for the whereabouts of Haku who had disappeared.

"Ah!! On the ceiling!!" exclaimed one of the sidekick who also pointed to the ceiling of the office. Everyone immediately looked up at the ceiling and saw Haku who was standing above upside down.

"Oh? Can you stand on the roof? That's pretty good." Edgeshot said.

Haku smiled and said, "Edgeshot, your back is wide open.". Suddenly behind Edgeshot, Haku appears and attacks him. The two of them exchanged attacks and after a few hits, they both backed away and stared at each other.

"It is over." Edgeshot said then tied Haku's body with his quirk.

"Try again." Said Haku who had a bunshin who had pointed his needle at Edgeshot's neck behind the real Haku. All the pro heroes who saw this were immediately amazed by his great fighting ability, even turning his back on Edgeshot.

"That's a very great ability." Edgeshot said then let go of Haku and stood in front of him.

"This is nothing. I believe you only lowered your abilities to match mine." Haku said humbly with a smile.

His soft voice and beautiful and gentle face made everyone stunned by his beauty. No one would have thought that Haku was a boy if Haku wore a girl's kimono.

Edgeshot smiled even though no one can see it because he was wearing a mask. 'What a great young boy. He can really beat me when I use 50% of my ability.' Edgeshot thought.

"I accept you as an apprentice here. Welcome. And sorry, we'll be on patrol right away, so put on your costumes and gather here in 10 minutes." Edgeshot said.

"I only need 3 minutes to get ready." Haku said then headed for the changing room that was pointed out by one of the sidekicks who was there.

After changing costumes, almost all the pro heroes who were there were stunned again to see Haku in his costume. Even though it's simple, Haku who is wearing his costume looks more beautiful and gentle.

This time, Haku also put on lipstick and dyed all of his nails green which matched his green kimono which further added to Haku's beauty. Haku's smile made everything melt. Right now Haku had not put on his mask and kept it under his kimono.

"Ok. We will divide groups, one group consists of two people. Yuki will pair up with me and the others in pairs according to what has been determined. Understand?" Edgeshot said.

"YES SIR!!!" Exclamation of all the pro heroes who were there.

Then Edgeshot asked Haku, "By the way, what is your hero's name?".

"Kuroyuki." Haku replied.

"Kuroyuki huh. Good name. Then let's go. I will explain everything to you while on patrol." Edgeshot said then immediately jumped to the roof of the building.

Haku then followed him from behind. During the patrol, Edgeshot explained all pro hero activities to Haku in detail and also told a little of Edgeshot's experience when carrying out a mission.

Luckily while on patrol, the two of them didn't find a single oddity. Then the two of them rested on the roof of a tall building while looking at the view of the city from above.

"Edgeshot, may I ask you something?" Haku asked.

"What is it?" Asked Edgeshot who realized there was sadness in Haku's words.

"If there is a person who commits a major sin, then that person is regret his actions and wants to penetrate his sins by becoming a hero. But everyone didn't know that the person had committed a crime and accepted him as a hero. Are you going to support that person? Or tell him to turn himself in to the police?" asked Haku.

Edgeshot was silent for a moment thinking about Haku's question. "I will personally support him if he really wants to penetrate his sin. Because we heroes don't have the authority to punish or imprison villains. If he has committed a crime and wants to penetrate his sins by becoming a useful person to others, that is very good for me. I will respect that person's decision." Edgeshot said.

Haku, who looked very satisfied with that answer, smiled happily mixed with sadness. "I see. Thanks for the answer, Edgeshot.".

Seeing Haku like that, Edgeshot immediately suspected that Haku was telling about himself.

Because today's internship is over, Haku and Edgeshot returned to the agency and Haku went right back to home.

The next day, Haku continued his internship with Edgeshot. "Kuroyuki, today we will be patrolling out of town. Follow me." Edgeshot said.

"Where are we going on patrol?"

"Hosu City."

"Yes Sir." Haku said then followed Edgeshot to Hosu City by train.

During the trip, the two of them were always the center of attention. When the seats were full and an old couple got into the train, Edgeshot and Haku quickly stood up and offered their seats to the old couple.

"Ah… Edgeshot-san, thank you very much." Said the husband of the old couple while sitting in his place.

"It's nothing." Reply Edgeshot.

"Thank you very much young boy." The couple's wife said.

"It's nothing." Haku replied with a gentle smile.

"Where are you going?" asked her husband.

"We want to go to Hosu City on patrol." Haku replied.

"I can understand if Edgeshot is on patrol, but will you also be on patrol, young boy?"

"Yes. I'm currently doing an internship with Edgeshot." Haku replied.

"Oh… I see. You are the next hero candidate. By the way, what's your hero's name?"

"Kuroyuki, that's my hero's name."

"Kuroyuki huh. Unique name. I like your name. Fighting!!"

"Yes sir. Thank you for your support." Haku said with a smile. Edgeshot just smiled seeing Haku's interaction with the old couple.

That night, the two of them arrived at the city of Hosu and by that time Haku had heard a commotion in the distance. "Edgeshot, looks like something's going on here. The crowd I heard was unnatural." Haku said.

'He can hear it too? He's really have a sharp hearing.' Edgeshot thought and nodded.

"Come on, let's hurry in the direction of the sound." Edgeshot said then left very quickly, but Haku was able to follow behind him.

When they arrived, the two of them could see 3 different nomus. "Nomu again? How many nomus are there?" Haku muttered.

"Kuroyuki, you help the injured pro hero, I will fight those nomus." Edgeshot said then immediately jump to the road.

Haku followed and started helping the injured pro hero. He also put on his mask. Haku rarely talks to other people when he's in action, which is why he always wears a mask so that other people don't talk to him.

"Thank you." Said a pro hero who was brought to the edge of the battlefield by Haku.

"Have you called for help yet?" asked Haku.

"Not yet. We haven't been able to defeat the monsters yet. It would be dangerous to call the police or ambulance for help."

"Then please call them now. Edgeshot has arrived, there should be no more problems." Haku said then was about to go to monitor the battlefield.

"Wait!! Who are you? If i look about you, you're still a schoolboy. Why are you here?" asked the pro hero.

"I'm an intern from UA, coming with Edgeshot. My name is Kuroyuki." Haku said then he was about to leave again, but before he could leave, several pro heroes immediately approached the injured pro hero and looked at Haku.

"You, schoolboy? Why are you here? It's dangerous here, run away from here quickly." Said one of the pro heroes.

"He is Kuroyuki, an intern from UA. He saved me from there." Said pro hero who was injured and made all the pro heroes around him a little disbelieving.

Suddenly, one nomu ran away and ran towards Haku. "Hey, you dodged!!!" exclaimed one of the pro heroes who shouted at Haku.

Haku glanced at Nomu and made hand seals. "Suiton : Suijinheki (Water Formation Wall)!!!" Haku exclaimed then from his mouth came a wave of water which then formed a high wall of water and made the nomu stop moving.

He didn't stop there, Haku immediately made hand seals again, "Hi Jutsu: Sensatsu Suishou!!!". The water around the nomu immediately flew and formed sharp needles and surrounded the nomu. Haku knocked his sandal on the ground and the needles flew straight away and pierced the very hard skin of the nomu.

The Nomu screamed in pain, but Haku didn't end his attack there. Haku made several water needles and immediately went forward and stabbed the needles into Nomu's brain at certain points so that Nomu's brain stopped working and became unconscious.

'Fyuh… Looks like this one isn't stronger than the nomu back at USJ. My needle could pierce the skin. But it's still difficult because I have to increase my chakra so I can pierce the skin.' Haku thought then returned to where the injured pro heroes were.

"That kid is great. Can defeat the monster easily. Even though our weapons can't even scratch the skin." Said one of the other pro heroes.

Suddenly, one nomu that escaped from Edgeshot was behind the pro heroes. "WATCH OUT!!!" Haku exclaimed then spontaneously, make a rasengan from his right hand and immediately attacked the nomu with the rasengan.

At the same time, Edgeshot also pierced the nomu's body. Finally the nomu flew away while circling because of Haku's rasengan.

Edgeshot also appeared beside Haku. "Good job defeating that one nomu, Kuroyuki." Praise Edgeshot.

"Sorry for attacking without permission, Edgeshot." Haku said.

"No. That was unavoidable. Don't think about it." Edgeshot said.

"Edgeshot!! Thank you for helping us."

"Doesn't matter. I happened to be on patrol here. Call for help immediately."

"YES SIR!!"

Haku was a little startled when the last nomu was still able to stand and then fled by flying into the sky. Edgeshot and Haku immediately chased after him. When the two of them were still chasing the nomu and Haku was just about to take out his stance, suddenly the nomu descended into a crowd and took someone from there.

'Midoriya?' Haku thought when he saw the person the nomu took. Finally before Haku could save Deku, Stain was already in action and killed Nomu with one hit. Haku and Edgeshot took to the streets and saw Stain's action that would become famous. Even though Stain gave off his killing aura, Haku wasn't afraid of Stain.

When Stain had fainted, Haku and Edgeshot approached the crowd of pro heroes and others. Haku who saw the injured Iida, Midoriya, and Todoroki felt anxious and annoyed.

"Iida, you didn't hear my warning." Said Haku who was still wearing his mask while standing in front of Iida. Iida could only look down and be silent. The pro heroes and the other kids just listened to Haku.

"I told you the current you are too weak to fight Stain. You're lucky today because Midoriya and Todoroki had time to come to help you. If they hadn't come, you would have been killed by now." Haku said.

Haku also watched Iida carefully, and realized that he had regretted his actions. "I see that you regret what you did. I won't scold you again. Instead, take this as a lesson to you and make good decisions. Do not move carelessly just because of feelings. You have to think things through carefully before acting. You understand?"

"I understand. Sorry for not listening to your warning." Iida said regretfully.

"Good. Now, rest and heal your wounds. Sorry I can't come with you to the hospital. I have something to check first." Haku said then turned to Edgeshot who was talking to Endeavor.

"Edgeshot, while we were chasing nomu I saw two villains attacking USJ. They are Shigaraki Tomura and Kurogiri the warp gate." Haku's words took Endeavor and Edgeshot by surprise.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?! Quickly show the way!!" Endeavor exclaimed and Haku nodded and immediately jumped onto the roof of a nearby building.

Edgeshot and Endevor immediately followed Haku from behind. Endeavor was a little surprised when he realized Haku's speed was not inferior to him, even on par.

"Why didn't you tell me first?" asked Edgeshot.

"Forgive me. But I think, right now what's more dangerous is the escape nomu. After all, I've also sent one of my bunshin over to their place to investigate their intentions. I didn't tell my bunshin to fight so my bunshin would still be there." Explain Haku that made the two pro heroes silent.

'He has prepared everything thoroughly. Good skills.' Edgeshot thought.

'This kid, wasn't he the one who beat Shoto at the sports festival yesterday? Turns out he was much more powerful and intelligent than I thought. Shoto still has a long way to go compared to him.' Endeavor thought.

When they were almost there, they could see the figures of Shigaraki and Kurogiri about to enter the Kurogiri portal. Endeavor immediately rushed and was about to attack the two of them. But unfortunately the two villains noticed Endeavor's arrival and rushed into the portal.

"Damn it. We're late." Endeavor said then Haku and Edgeshot reached where Endeavor was standing. Haku immediately canceled his bunshin and all the memories of his bunshin flowed into Haku's mind.

"Kuroyuki, what about that bunshin you said?" asked Edgeshot.

"My bunshin is gone and now the memories are running through my head. The reason Shigaraki sent nomu was just to destroy Stain. It seemed Shigaraki was trying to persuade Stain to join him because he was a valuable asset. However due to the difference in intentions, the two of them clashed. My bunshin saw that there were slashes on Shigaraki's shoulder and on Kurogiri's arm. When Stain killed one nomu who captured Deku, it already proved that they were enemies." Explain Haku.

"I see. They are at odds with each other. That's profitable. We don't know how strong they will become if they work together. Good job, Kuroyuki." Edgeshot said.

"Thank you, Edgeshot." Haku said.

"You weren't the one who beat Shoto, Yuki Haku weren't you?" Endeavor asked.

Haku took off his mask and showed his beautiful face and gentle smile. Surprising the two pro heroes, because Haku was able to change his serious mode which he showed briefly with his gentle mode when he took off his mask.

"Forgive me for my rudeness. You're right, I am Yuki Haku. And my hero's name is Kuroyuki, so please call me that when I'm wearing a costume." Haku said.

"Oh, I see. Kuroyuki, good job today. I'll go back to another place and keep an eye on the nomu. How about you guys?" asked Endeavor.

"We are going to the police station to explain everything we know about this. After that, we will go home." Edgeshot said.

"Oh, I see. Then I'll go first." Endeavor said then left Edgeshot and Haku alone.

"Then let's go to the police station, Edgeshot." Haku said.

"Wait. Kuroyuki, no, Yuki Haku, your skills, both in combat and in investigating are very good and even above the average of most pro-heroes in Japan. How did you get to this point? What have you done?" Edgeshot said suspiciously that Haku was actually a spy sent to UA.

Haku looked down and smiled bitterly at Edgeshot. "My uncle taught me to fight. He has taught me how to survive on my own in this world." Haku answered by hiding his past before being saved by Zabuza.

"Who is this uncle of yours? Is he a pro hero too?" asked Edgeshot asking the same thing with All Might some time ago.

Haku shook his head, "My uncle's name is Zabuza Momochi. He is the police inspector of Musutafu City."

Edgeshot was surprised when he heard Haku's answer. He didn't expect that the person who taught Haku was an ordinary police inspector. 'If Yuki can be this strong because of being taught by that person, then why did his uncle only become a police inspector? He should be stronger than Yuki himself. His abilities must be more than enough to become a top-level pro hero.' Edgeshot thought.

After that, the two of them went to the police station to report today's incident. Then they both decided to return to the agency and go home. Since it was late at night, only a few sidekicks were left to keep watch at the agency. After changing clothes, Haku also met Edgeshot who had also changed into normal clothes to say goodbye.

"Edgeshot, thanks for today. I'm going home first." Haku said.

"Shinya Kamihara. Call me with it during free time." Shinya said.

"Ok. See you tomorrow, Shinya-san." Haku said then Shinya nodded.

Shinya, who saw Haku's departure, immediately thought back to what Haku had said about his ability which was taught by his uncle. "Zabuza Momochi huh. Maybe I'll meet him in my spare time. It would be a shame if he only became a police inspector. I might also recommend Yuki to take the hero license exam." Shinya muttered.
