The Heist Begins

In the Monster group's headquarters. On the top floor, the chairman of the group was burning the midnight oil along with a few more of his employees.

When suddenly every single person inside felt a strong presence outside their building and just a few seconds later.

Boom-!

The entire building shook violently for a while before collapsing on itself.

The people inside strengthened their bodies with their abilities and evacuated the building as fast as they could.

Many were injured while saving some of the non-awakened ones present inside the building and a few died.

The survivors saw two people outside. One on top of the building next to theirs and another one levitating in the air with a golden glow on his body.

"You think this would have done any damage to him?" William asked

"Not much. But it was an attack from me so he would have suffered at least a few minor injuries." Michael replied

"Well it doesn't matter anyway. Since the Monster group will fall today." William said as he gazed at the destroyed building.

Attack wasn't strong enough to blast the entire building to nothingness but it was still enough to make the building collapse on itself. Creating a lot of debris and smoke in the area.

*Whoosh*

From the smoke, a figure landed right above the debris of the destroyed building.

Blonde hair, clenched jaw, rage in his eyes and minor scratches on his body.

This was the chairman of the Monster group.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? YOU BASTARDS!!" he yelled

"You picked a fight with us! YET YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO ASK THAT QUESTION!!" William yelled and attacked him.

An blue coloured hue surrounded William's body as his body transformed into something metallic.

A yellow coloured hue surrounded the Monster groups's chairman's fists as he met his attack head on.

BOOM!!

The clash between the two rankers led to a shockwave that destroyed the surrounding buildings.

The frontal assault went on for many more blows where the attacks continued on creating more and more shockwaves making it difficult for the survivors to see the battle clearly.

BOOM!!

Another big explosion happened but this time no other blast followed it.

After the dust settled, everyone witnessed how the fight came to a standstill but the most shocking thing was that William was pushed back!!

"You decided to confront me for picking a fight with you when you have got just that pathetic amount of strength?"

*Thoo*

He spat on the ground close to William's feet as he smiled at him.

However, a huge blast of energy reached his way causing him to turn his head backwards and he saw light blasting towards him.

BOOM!!

The attack was a direct hit!

Michael positioned himself at his back as soon as William engaged him.

Knowing that this would happen, William already cleared out of the way and let the attack hit him.

"ARGHH!!" He yelled as this time a good part of his arm was cut, burned and bleeding heavily.

"What was that about pathetic amount of strength?" Michael snorted

"You will die here today Peter!!" William exclaimed

Half hour ago, outside the Virtuosos group headquarters

"Is everything ready?" I asked Ben

Right now was the time the heist will begin.

Our objectives are the video of Elsa murdering those 4 people and if possible Elsa herself.

"Yup. Michael Hariss will move out anytime now. As soon as he does, you will go in."

"Right."

"Is the visual stable?" I asked

"Yeah. We successfully planted cameras all over the building. Although the ones in the top floor do not cover the entire area."

"We can't worry about that now."

"Here take this."

"Oh yeah. How could I forget about this." I said as I took the ghost drive from his hands

"Are you nervous?"

"Heh..What do you think?" I smirked

"I think you are nervous."

"Well obviously I am nervous. If I make a wrong move then I am dead." I said

"Well it was your plan."

"Doesn't mean I can't get nervous. By the way, have the two of them finished their work?" I said

"Yep! Oh! he came out! Here we go! Now!"

As soon as she said that, I got out of the van we were currently in.

I grabbed my stuff and went into their building after I made sure that Michael had gone away.

I went through the regular security check before entering the building which were just metal detectors and a pat down by one of the guards and checking of the things I was carrying.

None of it was particularly suspicious so I was allowed to go inside the building without a hitch.

"Hello there. I am Benjamin. I was told to come here and get access to the underground floor." I said to the receptionist.

"You are from maintenance?" she asked as she eyed me up and down

"Yes." I said

"Wait here." she said as she slid on her rolling chair and got towards a different computer and telephone and called someone.

I strained my ears but couldn't really figure out who she called or what she spoke on the phone.

Then a man came towards me and stood behind me with his arms to his sides.

"He will take you to the where you have to work." she said

I acted to have not noticed the guy before and turned to see him but in process knocked over something on the receptionists's desk.

"Oh I am so sorry! I didn't mean to do that." I said

"It's fine." she bended over and looked down to pick up the papers and pens that have been knocked over due to my carelessness.

"Just follow Mr. Park and he will guide you there."

"Alright thank you and sorry again." I said and walked away grabbing my stuff and started following Mr. Park

He led me to a corridor where the lift was but he had to touch his id card onto the sydtem beside it in order to access it.

"I will have to keep a watch on you as you work. Hope you don't mind" he said

"Not at all." I replied

We reached the floor and he led me to the washroom. I was still following behind him.

As soon as we entered, I reached for the syringe inside the bag I was carrying. And injected him with the sleeping drug on his neck.

I choked him with my arm as well to make sure that he doesn't make any strange movements.

I can't use my powers inside this building otherwise I will be easily located so I had to resort to this method.

I am not sure if I went overboard with the dosage but I had no choice. I wanted to take care of him in a few seconds so I used a high dosage of a highly potent sleeping drug which knocked him out in 5 seconds.

"Whew. Let's get to work." I said as I looked around the washroom and it was truly in a terrible state.

Looks like the guys I hired went overboard.

I had hired a bunch of small time criminals and gave them the task to mess with the building's pipeline. Specifically the one running through the underground floor from the outside of the building.

I provided them with the necessary tools and payed them a hefty price for a simple job as well but they delivered perfectly.

I put my nose-plugs in to block off the smell of shit.

I reached for the 4 bottles of 'room fresheners' in my bag and reached for the vents in the bathroom and began crawling.

Since this is an underground floor, there have to be vents connecting every room for air circulation.

After a few minutes of arduous crawling in the tight space, I finally reached my location.

I could clearly see the inside of the security room.

I could see many monitors inside the room and two of them caught my attention.

One was of the corridor where the washroom was and the other one was where Elsa was being kept.

The room she was in had been completely wrecked.

Parts of the room had been covered in ice. The chair, the bed, everything was a complete wreck.

I saw Elsa stand up starting to yell and she manifested a block of ice out of thin air and threw it a t the door.

Although I knew she was an awakened one now, it was still very weird to see her having powers.

It was hard to look at her the same way as before.

Before she was the annoying friend I absolutely loved. She was the one who gave me tips on how to ask Emily out. Always cheerful, happy and hyperactive.

Now though, she looked.....broken.

It pained me to see her in that condition all because her relation with me was revealed.

But now wasn't the time to feel sad or guilt so I shook my head to get rid of all these thoughts and focus on what I came here to do.

I took out a small knife from my pocket and make a small cut on one of the cans and put it close to the vent allowing the gas inside it to go into the room.

I can't make too much noise with this either so I have to go through each can one by one.

All these cans were all also filled with sleeping gas.

If there is no one in the security room, there would be no way for them to ring the alarms or inform anyone else about an intruder and call for backup.

Also Michael Hariss's private server was also kept in this room as well.

How do I know that?

I can see it clearly. There is no need to have the servers inside the building except for the private servers. Other servers are always kept in server farms.

My plan proceeded perfectly.

After only a minute of leaking the gas from the third can, I managed to put everyone inside the room to sleep.

Now I just have to wait for a few minutes for the gas to dissipate so I can go in.

According to what Ben said, it would take at least 15-20 minutes for the gas to dissipate through the other vents and out the room.

But since I used only 3 cans, I should go in about 10 minutes.

Oh, and if you are wondering, I am already wearing a gas mask to not get affected but it isn't a proper gas mask either.

It is just a make-shift one. I made one of our smart people work on it.

I am currently wearing a full face mask that is usually used by robbers. I am wearing a mask underneath and swimming glasses to cover my eyes.

I put on as much as tape as I could to prevent any air to come inside while a thin pipe flows into the whole get up connected to one of the small canister but this one contains oxygen.

I have no idea if this will hold up at all. But I have no choice. And besides I have done much more stupid things than accidentally drugging myself. So I am not that scared about this not working either.

I waited right in that position for 10 minutes which would have been absolutely boring if I didn't have a comm. in my ears connecting me to Ben who was staying outside inside the van.

I got down from the vent but I didn't realise that my leg had fallen asleep from being in that position for so long and I ended up falling down from the vent right on my face.

"Oww!" I groaned

"What happened?" Ben asked

"I fell down while climbing off the vent" I said as I held my face in my pain

"Hhehee....kekek" Ben was trying to hold back his laughter

"Alright now tell me what to do." I said ignoring his actions

"Just insert the ghost drive inside the CPU on one of the computers. Oh and you will have to put it inside the server as well."

"Alright." I put the ghost drive inside the computer's CPU which led to many new windows appear one after the other which confused me a lot.

I just followed what Ben was instructing me to do and I managed to delete the video from the main server.

It took me just 10 minutes to do that.

"This whole operation is going much better than I expected it to be."

"Yeah...about that." Ben said

"What?" I asked completely disappointed at myself for jinxing myself like this.

"The fight between the three group leaders is coming to an end. You need to hurry now." he said

"Alright." I said clearly understanding the level of shit I will be inside if Michael comes back and I am still inside the building.

I had just inserted the ghost drive inside but I heard someone turning the handle of the room to come inside it.

'Oh shit!'
