"Hey! Come on let's go!"

"Where?"

"A new guy came yesterday and has already challenged Jessica to a fight."

"What? Does he have a death wish? Who is that guy?"

"I think his name is Owen Knight."

"Seriously? His backing isn't even that powerful and yet he wants to fight Jessica on his first day here?"

"Look Look there he is."

"Wow! He is hot!"

The two girls chatted as more and more students in the academy came rushing in the colosseum as they heard the news of the spar between the new kid, Owen and one of the high ranking students in the academy, Jessica.

Owen followed Leah's instructions and submitted the official sparring request to the student council office late at night and he was approved shortly after getting consent from Jessica.

"You are one crazy bastard. I will give you that."

"Can we just get this over with."

Ignoring Jessica's taunt, Owen asked the vice principal of the WAA who will be presiding over the match to start.

The entire Colosseum was filled with students. All of the student council had come to watch the match between the high ranking student and the newbie.

"Who do you think will win?"

"Obviously Jessica. She used to be a contender for top 10 and she still holds a high position in the academy. Besides, the Knight family along with their group have been in a decline for the past few decades. They are not that strong."

"So he just asked for this match to become popular I guess."

"Yeah that must be the case but it will be fun to watch the challenger getting thoroughly crushed. HAHAHA"

Except a handful of students who have already witnessed and are familiar with Owen's strength, everyone in the stands were of the same mindset that Jessica will win this match with low difficulty.

...

At the place where student council members were sitting.

"Who do you think will win?"

Leah posed the question to the red haired girl sitting beside her.

"Isn't it obvious, of course Jessica will win. If he was that strong he would have already been noticed and would have been brought to the academy long time ago."

"Hmmm...I wouldn't be so sure."

"What do you mean?"

"Just watch the match and then you will know."

The red haired girl fell into thought, 'Was the newbie really that strong? But he is from the Knight family. Sure they are not weak but to be on the same level as Jessica is hard to believe.'

"I will tell you something else..."

"What?"

"He had an official sparring with Jean and Eley and won easily."

"WHAT?! But Eley and Jean are one of the top 10 of our academy."

"Exactly. That is why he is so confident."

"Is that why you didn't reject his request for the spar?"

"Yes. But I also wanted to see just how strong he is and Jessica turned out to be the perfect guinea pig."

*Clap*

"The fight will start after the signal!"

The vice president declared and set up the space isolation around the colosseum.

*Fight*

*BOOM*

As soon as the signal for the fight was given, Jessica attacked Owen.

A blast of purple energy went towards him leaving a trail of destroyed ground and exploded as soon as it came in contact with him.

"HAHAHA Was that all you got? Little bitch got owned in a single attack."

"Whoooo"

The cheers erupted from the audience and they started berating the newbie at how fast he lost. But before Jessica could walk away.

"6 out of 10"

"Huh?"

The same question came out of everyone's mouth.

"The speed behind the attack wasn't half bad but the power was absolutely terrible. You may want to put more effort into your next attack."

And there stood Owen with his hand held out in front of him completely unscathed. There was not even a speck of dust on his uniform. He just stood there, tanked the attack and came out of it without receiving any damage at all.

Of course that wasn't truly it, he had actually used his armament haki on his entire body as well as his clothes and stopped using it as soon as the dust settled.

"He is unscathed!!"

"He survived that!!"

The crowd was baffled by what had just happened. They could still believe that he had managed to somehow survive the attack but coming out of that attack unscathed after receiving a direct hit is something not even they could try to attempt.

"I will take the initiative this time." Owen said and appeared right behind Jessica and punched her face and sending her flying.

In the air however, Jessica manoeuvred herself and launched several small blasts of energy towards Owen.

Without thinking about tanking this time, Owen used the gaps between her attacks and sprinted towards Jessica to again punch her in the same spot as before and sending her tumbling down to the ground.

She performed a backflip and got up and but was met with another punch on the same spot as before making her vision blurry.

Later on she got punched at the same spot on her face again...again.....again and again till the swelling on her face looked as big as a grapefruit.

"Do you still want to continue?" Owen asked finding it quite boring to continue disrespecting her for the past 15 minutes.

"...DIE YOU BITCH!!!"

In a moment, Jessica gathered all the power she had left inside of her and launched an attach at Owen so wide that it covered the entire fighting ground in front of him leaving no way to escape.

However, using 'Sky Walk', Owen ran in the air reaching a good height that was enough to avoid the attack and used Soru to land right beside Jessica only to kick her on the sides breaking her ribs and sending her flying and then crashing into a wall.

"Owen Knight wins" the potato looking Vice president announced.

Ever since Owen started the one sided beating, the crowd had been completely silent. At first it was completely due to shock but now for a few individuals it was anger.

People who were close to Jessica along with a few others were enrage at what they were seeing. There have been many cases of people losing one sidedly but no one would ever disrespect their opponents so much because their loss is a loss of their group.

If a student belonging to a group loses to another student belonging to a weaker group, it tarnishes their reputation and they have to bear the responsibility and punishment that comes with tarnishing their group's image in front of the entire world.

Which is why many people were finding this way of fighting unacceptable and could only look towards Owen with rage in their eyes as they do not want this type of behaviour in their academy as this could lead to many people doing the same thing and they could end up at the receiving end of it.

Noticing their hateful gazes, Owen shrugged and left the colosseum without saying anything else.
