"Hey, did you hear?"

"What?"

"Last night at Will's party, Owen suddenly showed up uninvited and punched Will in front of everyone present there."

"No way. That can't be true. We all know how Owen is but even he wouldn't humiliate someone at their own birthday party right?"

"It's true. You can ask anyone who were at the party last night."

"Really? Well.....why did he punch him? He had to have a reason right?"

"I punched him because he was annoying me" I said while slamming my locker close since these two girls were seriously getting on my nerves.

Both of the girls yelped when they found out that they had unknowingly been talking about me in front of me.

"Oh- H-Heyy Owen" Girl B said

"Yeah. Hey" I said and walked away and made my way towards the classroom.

Over the years because of the amount of times I get involved in fights here, I have gained a rather infamous reputation. Though I am still one of the cool kids and the most popular guy in school in their eyes just...a violent one.

"Yo! Why are you angry the first thing in the morning?" Mark said as he started walking beside me

"Hey" I replied

"Rough morning?"

"I don't want to talk about it"

".....Scooby?"

".....That stupid dog ruined my Jordans!!"

"Oh damn!!"

"I fucking hate that dog!!"

"Okay. Calm down man. They are just shoes and you can get new ones anyway."

"Yeah I already ordered them but that's not the point."

"Anyway just forget about that...and by the way literally everyone is talking about what happened at the party last night."

"Yeah I heard"

"I see. Also, did Emily's folks found out?"

"Nah Ethan covered for her...just barely...Haaa haaha" I couldn't control it and burst out laughing.

"Okay get this, so their parents caught them sneaking back in and Ethan said that she is unconscious because she fell down from the stairs. That made their parents worry even more and she was taken to a hospital. There she woke up, still drunk but luckily their parents were out of the room at the time and then Ethan knocker her out."

I still continued laughing but not him. Maybe because of the way I told that story that he didn't find it funny but anyway.

We made it to our classroom and took our seats.

"Moving on, is she coming to school today."

"Nah but we are meeting after school."

"Also, I have something to discuss with you and Elsa later today during lunch"

"Why are you suddenly so serious?"

"Because it is serious. I will tell you both later since it will be a pain in the ass to repeat that twice."

"Okay sure but--"

"Good Morning everyone! take your seats and we will begin the roll call." Mr Harisson Wells walked in and interrupted him. Making it the first time I was thankful that a teacher showed up.

Later at lunch, Mark, Elsa and I were sitting in the school cafeteria and I decided to break the news to them.

"So, the reason I wanted to talk to you guys is that...."

"You need a reason to talk to us? Wow! I thought we were close."

I was rudely interrupted by Elsa who continued munching on her food while saying that. Not even taking her eyes off of the food.

I glared at her thinking how can she like the cafeteria food so much so to be so rude to me while Mark just laughed.

'Well they sure made this easy.'

"I am transferring schools. My parents are sending me to UK."

'Haaa suck on that!!'

"WAIT ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"

"WHEN?!"

Elsa and Marks yelled at the same time.

"Obviously I am serious. Why would I joke about something like that?"

Turning my head to Mark, I answered him, "In a week."

""WHAT?!""

"Yeah."

"You are going to go to a different country for a few years and you are telling us just a week before?!"

Elsa asked no it felt like she was scolding me actually.

"Hey!! I only found out about it last night as well."

"But why so suddenly?" Mark asked

"Well....."

'Okay! so what do I say now? I can't just say that my parents are forcing me without a good reason because I obviously wouldn't listen to them if they did not have a good reason to stop me from doing something....It was my grandpa's decision. That's it!!'

"It was my grandpa's decision."

As soon as I said that, they understood that I had no say in the matter. Both of them met my grand father 2 years ago.

At that time I was weak for an awakened of my age okay not exactly weak but I wasn't strong and he was really strict with my training and lifestyle as well. He would not let me hang out with anyone who is not an awakened one and even with the awakened ones he would only let me linger around for just a few minutes unless it was important.

It was only until 2 years ago that I had found out the real nature of my ability i.e. Haki. Till then, I had always thought that it was the ability running in my family which was some sort of body strengthening.

That was also the time when I first awakened the system which is also one of the reasons I don't use it very much because I am not in a habit of checking my progress. Also, that it has no other feature than to show me my stats. So, it's pretty much useless.

"I see"

Mark said breaking the silence that enveloped our table.

To be honest, I was pretty bummed about it too. It wasn't like we had all just met in high school or something. We have all known each other ever since we were kids.

Mark and I have been in the same school ever since elementary school. Elsa and Mark's house are close to each other so I actually met Elsa through him. And we all met Emily in Middle School.

"But it's not too bad. It's not like I won't be coming back at all. I will be here for semester, year and summer break. Plus if I get off for a few weeks-."

"Yeah yeah we don't care when you come back. We are all skipping school tomorrow and the day after and hanging out together."

Elsa one again interrupted me but I wasn't annoyed this time because of what she said. Suddenly she pointed at me with the fork in her hand

"And you are gonna pay for all the food."

I spoke too soon.

After school I saw Emily just standing in front of my car which was parked just around the block.

She wore a baggy white top along with black shorts with her favourite Nike sneakers.

Even without much makeup, her eyes looked big and her short black hair were shiny even without special care.

She looked beautiful even in that simple outfit. No, she looks absolutely stunning in literally anything she wears. Whether it's a dress, shorts, jeans, bikini and even....nothing.

I drooled for a while by letting my imagination stray off to what was the best night of my life when she gave me that surprise for my 16th birthday. But was brought back from my stupor when I heard her speaking.

"What are you thinking about?.....Me?"

Her sweet voice rang in my ears and even before I realised it, her chest was pressing against mine as she hugged and looked up to me.

"Obviously. Who else would I think about."

I said as I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a kiss.

"What were you thinking about?"

"Just about how fun would it to be to go on a date, get judged by some old people at the mall for obscenity and then go back to my place."

"Well why don't we do just that."

She said as she got on her toes and kissed me then swayed in my arms making me sway alongside her.

I simply pressed the button to unlock my car as we broke our hug and got inside it.

I will tell her about the moving situation later at night.
