7 Chapter 7

Summer passed by pretty quickly so school started again. Today was Shoyos first day at Teiko. After having breakfast both of us headed towards school.During summer I helped Shoyo with volleyball. I used to help him before as well but with three months I fixed some of his techniques with receiving and blocking. As for me do you remember Kagayama and Shoyo super fast quick. Well I trained like a madman and managed to recreate the toss. It works the same way but to my style. So we have a extreme quick to use this year.

School was the same. Classes for the most part stayed the same as well. It was now time the volleyball club. I went and got Shoyo from his class to bring him to the volleyball club.

Once there I was greeted by someone who put his arm my neck.

" Hey what's up Dai chan. It's been so long. "

" Tendou sempai we hung out with eachother a week ago. "

" Dont care that was still to long for me. Anyway who is this? Why does he look like you? "

" Ahh this is my younger brother Shoyo. "

" Nice to meet you sempai. "

" Hey what's up shorty. "

As soon as he said this arrows pierced Shoyos heart. We then talked a bit before Ms Yama explained that we will have a practice match to test the first years.

" Alright before we begin I want everyone to introduce themselves. "

Soon after the introductions we were about to have the practice match. I was paired up with Shoyo and another first year.The other team was made up of Tendou Kagame and Totsubo.

The match started. Shoyo was up to serve and sent the ball towards the other side. Kagame sempai receives it and sent it to Tendou who set it to Totsubo who then spiked it down but Shoyo received it. The ball came to me , I then set it to the other first year. He spiked it but got blocked by Tendou.

The match kept going with the score at 24 to 23 our lead. I managed to fool Tendou with my body language to make him go to either Shoyo or the first year before sending it to the opposite person. Shoyo managed to impress Ms Yama with his receives and blocks. That training was paying off. The first year had technique but it wasn't better than the second year who was running for the wing spiker position. His name is Aomine Kagami.

At this point I decided it was time for the quick. I signalled Shoyo that we were doing it.He made a face like Christmas had come early. When the ball came to me I set to Shoyo who was already in the air ready to spike. He shot the ball down in a second.

The gym was silent while me and Shoyo high fived while yelling "Yes".

" Dai chan can you explain to me WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT??!!!"

" Us too please. " Person A yells.

" Oh that it was a quick me and Shoyo worked on over the summer. "

" Yep it took a lot to pull off. We failed a lot of times. " Shoyo added.

" I think the count was around 150 failed attempts. "

" Seriously you 2 are insane. " Tendou says.

While this was happening we felt a chill down our backs. We turned to the side to Ms Yama who looked like the demon queen.

" Ohh this is good. The other teams won't know what hit them. Hahaha!! Alright I've decided on the line up.

Our Middle blockers will be Tendou and Shoyo. The setter will be Daiki. The libero will be Kagame. Finally the wing spikers will be Totsubo and Aomine. Now then practice begins now. "

Do I even need to explain what happened? If you have read the previous chapters then there's no need.

There were only a few days left till the tournament starts. I was in my bed thinking about our training. It was brutal but the team came together. As I was day dreaming my phone went off. I looked at the caller and it was Oikawa. I picked it up.

" Yo Oiwa chan what's up? I ask.

" Hahahahahahahaha....!!!"

" Shut up!!!! Don't laugh at my pain. "

" But still how do you get into these situations?"

" I don't know!! It was all Tobio chan's fault!! "

Let me explain. When Oikawa called he explained Kagayama misinterpreted something. You see Oikawa was high on sugar so at one point while hanging out with the third and second years he exclaimed, " Iwa chan you know you are my light in the darkness. Please don't leave me ". Kagayama was there to hear it and told everyone. Now everyone thinks he is gay and Iwazumi is his boyfriend.

" Again. Explain to me how you get into these situations? "

" I don't know. Please tell me you have a solution to this problem? "

" I think so. There are 2 problems. One is that Iwazumi is your boyfriend and the other is that your gay. Which one is more annoying? "

" Both!! Both are annoying!!"

" Will then. To destroy both of them the solution is simple.Get a girl to go on a date with you dumbass. "

" Oh that makes sense. Thanks Dai chan. "

" No problem. Good luck. "

I then hang up.

Tomorrow was the start of the tournament and our first opponent was decided.

" Listen up our first is Yosen middle school. " Ms Yama said. " Since this is our first match we don't know about their line up so Daiki once the match starts you have full control over the plays. Tendou you have the calls over blocks. Once Daiki makes a plan follow it. "

Yosen middle school lost against Chidoriyama last time. They must have improved. This will be a fun match.
