Chapter 4

Day 2 of the volleyball tournament is actually one of the bad days as we have two matches in a day if we win our first round. It will be hard but I can't stop the smile that comes to my face.

We headed towards the stadium for our match. We got here early as the match for our round 3 match up is happening. The match was between Yosen middle school and Chidoriyama middle school. For those higher tier beings watching Chidoriyama is where Nishinoya went for middle school and he's playing right now as a libero.

He isn't at the level he was in highschool but he is still a strong libero even in middle school. The game continued with Nishinoya has been the saviour for many balls that were about to it the floor. The game ended with Chidoriyama advancing to the third round.

After they cleared the court Teiko and Kajio came on the court to warm up. As we were practicing me and Tendou were having a very important debate.

" If I did reincarnate as Naruto I would then go and master the basics. I mean literally the substitution jutsu allows you to swap yourself with another thing. A well timed one would save someone's life. "

" True but you have to admit that jutsus like the chidori are very useful... "

We were having a discussion on what to do if we reincarnated as naruto. We went this for a while before ending it since the match was about to start.

The coin went and landed on tails. Kajio's favour. They choose to serve. The unusual player who was as tall as Takou sempai was put as a middle blocker. They served the ball and we received it. The ball went Hayama sempai who set the ball to Takou sempai. He spiked the ball down to floor earning us the first point.

The usual player was a problem. He used his power to slam the ball to ground and get one touches for our spikes. It was then I decided to tell them to implement the plan.I gave the signal to others to start. Me and Tendou do a double team which makes him do cross shots. Kagame sempai is there to receive it. We then use the opportunity to retaliate as Hayama sempai sent the ball to Totsubo who got a point by spiking the ball.

The plan worked perfectly. We kept shutting out the player while also covering the spikes when the team uses him as a decoy. We managed to win the first set 25 to 15.

The second set went the same way. We used the same strategy to pin down the player. As for their defence I broke it by using my jump floater serve. I sent the ball to places which broke them up which allowed us to use that to our advantage to score points. When they couldn't receive my serves we also got points.

By the end we won the game 25 to 13. We then headed towards the bench to rest. Our next match against Chidoriyama is in 1 hour.

I used this time to rest and make a plan to deal with them. When the match was going on I used perfect copy tho analyse there every move. When Kise uses perfect copy he memorises his opponents moves and replicates them. I use it the same way in memorizing my oppentents moves and then analyse them to check things to exploit. After analysing there moves I came to a conclusion. They are going to be hard to beat. There defence is solid but with Nishinoya it skyrockets. He can save the balls when it matters so to get past him block outs are necessary. With block outs he won't be able to reach the ball in time to save them. A well placed faint will also work combined with the fact that setter dumps are also a possibility.

I made my plan. In order to beat them I will lure them to certain places on the court using certain plays to force them into that position. With Nishinoya going to save the ball we can play a slow paced game in the first set to lay down the foundations. Once finished we will use the opportunities to score to win the first set. In the second set since they will adjust to the way we play in the first set we then use that fact to score points on them by making them do plays which benefit us. An example would be making them get a point where it seems Tendou can't get the ball in the first set but in the second set he can to shut them out.

I relay this plan to Ms Yama who goes over the plan.

" Hmm alright we will go with that. Your plan worked with Kajio so we'll try this plan for Chidoriyama. "

" Wait before go with I need to ask. Dai chan how is it that you come up with these plans? "

Tendou asks.

" Oh that. Well I remember everyplay they made doing their match. From that I noticed everytime they need to do something they have a habit before doing it. I then made a plan to exploit those habits in our favor. "

" Dai chan your scary. " Tendou says with shock, fear and awe on his face . The rest of the team was like that except Ms Yama who currently has the face of a demon sent from hell.

" Well this is a nice surprise. After this tournaments over, Daiki be ready for serious training. I will make sure to help you improve this ability of yours so we can crush our opponents. "

" Yes ma'am " I replied. She is scary.

It was now time for the match against Chidoriyama. We walk on the court and start to warm up. Chidoriyama does the same. As we do this a ball comes up to me. I pick it up and look around to see where it came from. I then hear a voice behind me.

" Hey can you give me the ball? " I look at the person who calls me and it's Nishinoya.

" Oh sure. Here."

" Thanks."

" Hey quick question. Which year are you In? "

" Oh I'm a first year."

" Really me too. Names Hinata Daiki. " I say as I held up my hand.

" My name is Yu Nishinoya." As he shook my hand.

" Lets have a good game. You better come at us with everything. "

" Heehh that goes both ways. You better come at us with everything as well. "

After we finished our declaration we then walked back to our teams. After a few minutes the match was about to start.
