Chapter 36

Currently all the members of Karasunos volleyball team are in the gym doing some practice matches. The ones who arnt doing practice matches are doing hard core exercise given to them by their demon coach.

" Tanaka, Ennoshita and Asahi. When blocking make it straight out. It will force the ball to the ground. Also watch your timing. " Coach said.

" Yes sir. "

Coach then turns to the others doing the exercises.

" Don't slow down. Also bend your back more. Don't do those exercises with low enthusiasm. The results won't show then. "

Coach Ukai went around correcting everyone's mistakes and telling them what to fix.Daiki then went to the Coach.

" Coach I have a question. "

" What is It? "

" When serving if I hit the ball after the whistle blows the serve counts right? "

Coach thinks about this.' Yes it does.Jesus this kid is insane. ' " Yes it counts. "

" Okay. "

In the practice match everyone were improving.

Both sides were focused on their skills. Nishinoya was focused on defence going after saves for which he new was coming.

Daichi was the same but he was also improving in spiking. He focused noticing slight movements to predict where the ball went.

Kurokawa was learning receives. His recieved were good and he good react to most spikes but they wernt clean like Nishinoyas or Daichi so he focused on improving that.

Asahi focused on serves. He mainly focused on jump serves and used this to get more practice in.

Ennoshita focused on recieves and blocking. Coach put him through the ringer and made him do multiple exercises. As for the practice match he used it to improve.

For Kinoshita coach made him do exercises as well practice his jump floater. His jump floater was coming along nicely but he chickens out when he has to serve for real.

As for Narita he mainly focused on everything from blocking to recieves to spiking. Coach made him focus on all of that.

For Daiki Coach made him focus on everything. He had the most work but made sure to get it done. His goal for now was to master a serve. Its where he throws the ball into the air and when the whistle blows he spikes the ball. His timing however is still off either he hits it to early or to late which messes up his serve.

After a few practice matches with the intense training the results kicked in. It became easier for everyone. As for Daiki he managed to finish the serve.

During one of the practice matches Daiki was up to serve.

' Okay. I need to time this just right. '

He threw the ball in the air and jumped. Coach who was serving as the referee was about to blow the whistle.

' Evrything is going as planned. '

Coach blew the whistle and at that moment Daiki hit the ball and used his power serve. The ball flew across the court slamming against the floor earning a point.

" Hell Yes!! Finally!! "

" Are your freaking kidding me??! That serve was already OP but now it's even more OP. How is this even possible? " Nishinoya asked.

" Its called skill. "

" Screw that. It still shouldn't be possible. "

" It is. I just did it. "

" Then I reject it. " Nishinoya says.

" Even if you reject it no one else here does. "

" The court has reached an agreement. That serve is pure BS at its finest. " Tanaka said in his budda mode.

" See the all powerful budda has spoken. "

" Goddammit. "

The rest just watched on already used to the weirdness of the trio.

" If your done can we get back to the match? " Coach asked.

" Yeah we're done. "

" Great. We will stop practice here as I have an announcement. "

Everyone then looks at coach.

" I talked to an old friend of mine and he agreed to allow us to participate in a training camp they have coming up. "
