" Now then after watching you play I have an idea on what to train you in but I want to test something so Daiki explain what the problems are with this team. " Coach said.

" Uh Why? " Daiki said with confusion on his face.

" I want to see what gives you the title Eyes of the court. "

"Okay. Firstly the problem with this team is stamina and teamwork. Stamina is self explanatory as we probably couldn't last in a very long game. For teamwork it's more about learning about how our teammates will move. We need learn how we move and create attack patterns instinctively with each other.

As for personal skills we need increase that as well but before that we need to complete the others. Creating attack and defence patterns is a must.Stamina is also required as we need to last the whole game. "

' Hmm he got it on the mark. Personal skills are needed as they play a role when using different attack patterns. But before we can we need to increase their understanding of each other. ' " That's correct. We need to increase your stamina as well as teamwork. However I need to ask you a question Daiki. What position will you play? "

" I'll play middle blocker. "

" Ehh??!!" Everyone was surprised.

" But why though? Couldn't you just play setter? " Suga asked.

" Suga san. I'm an all rounder. I played as a setter for 2 years already. Also you are great setter. Besides who said that I can't set when I'm a middle blocker? "

" Hahahahahahaha... " The Coach was laughing." This is great. You picked the best position. I was going to make the middle blocker since with you in the front and Nishinoya along with Daichi in the back our defence will sky rocket. "

Realisation it the other players. They realised what the coach said.

" Now that is over. The starters will be Suga as the setter, Daichi and Kurokawa as wing spikers, Nishinoya as the libero, and Daiki and Asahi as middle blockers.

Now then let's clean up and head home. We will have training tomorrow at 5 am. " Coach said.

' 5 am!!Are you trying to kill us??!!'

Coach then said as of he read our minds, " I just want what's best for you.", with a polite smile.

" Now come here at 5 am. Understand. " He said with his face changing onto a serious expression.

" Yes sir!! " We responded. That face was scary.

As we were cleaning up, Suga came over to me.

" Hey Daiki. Can i ask you something? "

" Suga san. Sure. What is It? "

" Why didn't you want the setter position? " The others stoped doing what they were doing and looked as us listening to the conversation.

" The reason. It's simple." I said in a serious voice." I just didn't feel like being a setter. ". I then changed to a don't care atitude.

" Ehh? That's your reason? " Suga asked with doubt.

" Yep. I didn't feel like playing as a setter. The reason I played in middle school was that we didn't get any good setters. So my Coach decided to place me as a setter in my second year. "

" I see. "

" It was fun playing as a setter in my second year but I didn't feel like playing in that position again since there was no challenge.

When I came here and realised their was a great setter I was relieved since I could now get to spike. "

" Wait a great setter? Am I really that good? "

" Suga san. You're comparing your skills to mine right ? "

Daikis words hit him deep as that's what he's been doing.

" Yeah I have. "

" You shouldn't let that stop you. " He then looks at me. " You are a great setter. You know what a setter has to do. Also when you were playing I noticed that when you set to Tanaka and Kazuhito after a few sets you able to give them the best toss that was perfect for them.

You are a great setter. That's why I am counting on you to use me as much as possible. I want to hit some spikes as well you know. " I then held out my hand to him.

He looked at it for a few seconds before shaking it.

" Then be ready. When I set it to you, get us a point. "

" You got it sempai. "

" Well I don't want to ruin this moment but I want to go home. Get back to work. " Daichi said with a scary expression on his face.

Me and Suga flinch as we looked at him.

" Yes sir. " We say as we saluted him.

After putting everything back and talking with Suga along the way i headed home. Training starts at 5 am.
