2 Chapter 2

" The top school rejected me so I came here to join . " Kageyama said while facing Rei. " What about you Rei? Why are you here? Back at Kitagawa Daichii you dropped out even though you were really good. "

" I left because of the incident. Besides playing with people who hate you is just stupid. " Rei said while Kageyama nodded.

" Ha Its you!! What are you doing here??!! "

Rei recognised the voice. He looked to his left and saw the orange haired kid from the entrance. Rei watched as he and Kageyama had an agreement.

" Also what's your name? Mine's Hinata Shoyo. " The orange haired boy said to Rei.

" Oikawa Rei. Just call me Rei " Rei said in his monotone voice

" Okay. Rei are you joining the volleyball club? " Hinata asked.

" I haven't decided yet. " Rei said.

" Oh. " Hinata said.

The door then opened as three people come in. Rei got a look at them and their uniforms.

' They are probably the members of the volleyball club. One of them must the captain. '

" You're Kageyama right? " The middle one asked

" Yes. " Kageyama replied.

" He's tall. " The gray haired boy said.

" Suga let me set him straight. " The bald one said with a punk ass face.

" Tanaka stop making that face. " The Black haired boy said.

" Okay Daichi. " Tanaka said.

' So their names are Suga, Daichi and Tanaka. That's good to know. They seem okay. '

" How tall are you? " Daichi said to Kageyama.

" 180 cm. "

" That's quite tall. "

Rei watched as they had a conversation while looking at Hinata who was trying to get their attention.

' He said he could jump. Guess that means he can jump high. Question is how high? "

" Hello! " Hinata yelled gaining their attention.

Rei once again stayed silent and observed what went down.Things escalated to where the Vice principal came and Kageyama and Hinata decided to have a little match.

Kageyama served the ball to Hiata where the ball flew off his arms as Hinata fell backwards.

' This guy has no technique. He probably only focused on spiking. '

Kageyama went to serve again as the ball went to the corner. Hinata saw it coming and moved to intercept. When the ball came to his hands, it bounced off, hit his face, bounced off his face, straight into the face of the Vice principal, knocking off his wig and it fell on Daichi.

' Goddammit! I knew I should've recorded this. ' Rei thought.

" Daichi. Come outside we need to have a chat." The vice principal said. He them walked out with Daichi right behind him.

' They dead. ' Rei thought.

Silence was all there was in the gym until Daichi came back.

" Good news we won't be punished. " Daichi said as everyone relaxed.

" However we have to keep this a secret. " Daichi said as everyone understood while Tanaka seemed disappointed.

Rei however was watching as usual. Daichi gave a speech to Hinata and Kageyama about Karasuno and teamwork before throwing them out of the gym and slamming the door in their faces.

' Hmm that was good. He's forcing them to work together. If they can't do that then the team would crumble. '

" That being said who are you? " Daichi said looking at Rei.

" Oikawa Rei. Just call me Rei. " Daichi nodded.

" So are you here to join? "

" I was thinking about it but I haven't decided yet. "

" Okay. Well take your time. " Daichi said. " Why don't you stay for practice? You can make your decision later. " He said with a small smile.

" Okay. "

Rei spent his time with the three before the rest of the members came. He mostly talked to Suga and Tanaka though. Well mostly Tanaka trying to make show some emotion but failing every time.

Rei was laughing on the inside though at Tanakas faces before Hinata and Kageyama came with their challenge.

' Daichi is quite the motivator isn't he. Instead of simply not letting them join the consequence is a lot higher. ' Rei thought.

" So Rei what's your decision? " Suga asked.Rei looked at him silently. After a few seconds Rei answered.

" I don't know. Is it alright if I give my answer on Saturday. "

" Hmm That's fine. " Daichi said.

" Just take your time. " Suga said.

" Hmm thank you. I'll be going now. " Rei said.

" See yeah later. " Tanaka said while raising his hand. Rei just stared at it.

' Should I do it? Well I don't really lose anything besides he is a nice guy. '

" Oi dont leave me hanging. " Tanaka said. Rei hesitantly raised his hand as Tanaka slapped his hand over it.

Rei didn't say anything before leaving. Suga just watched his back as he left.

" He doesn't much trust in others. " Suga said.

" Probably something happened. However it isn't pur business. If he joins we can ask why. " Daichi said.

" Guess so. " Suga said.

' Hmm that was interesting. They seemed nice. Though I don't know how they will react when they know about that. '

Rei just kept walking till he reached home. He walked in and went to his room to sleep.

" One thing though is that I might have fun. Maybe they could be the ones. I could have fun playing volleyball again. " Rei muttered as he went to sleep.
