"Hahaha, good job, Tatsu-chan!" Otoda said.

"Yeah, that receive was super good!" Ike Hachiro said as he bring his arms around Tatsuo's shoulder.

"Nice receive, junior" Shugo Meian complimented.

Even Katsu who was always quiet gives him a thumbs up while Nishida is minding his own business as he looks at his hands.

'Probably thinking about his spike earlier...' Tatsuo thought.

"Haha, I'm just lucky. Senior's serve just landed straight at my arms!" Tatsuo scratches his nape and decided to change the topic as he felt a little embarrassed by the compliments of his teammates.

'Now that I think about it, that power just now...'

He had forgotten the gift 'that guy' said as the years passed without activating it. So he grew up to this day without that.

He remembered the scenes happening a while ago. He felt chills on his back at how overpowered that power has. Also, he did not need to explore his power to know its function as it was included during the merging!

'I thought the gift he mentioned is my new parents...'

But he's grateful that he has now a power that is both good in the court and outside the court. Not only it enhances his intelligence but also his game sense.

'With this power, I can be called a genius now!'

He was grinning like a madman which gains the attention of his teammates as they look at him weirdly.

Tatsuo was embarrassed and quickly garnered his attention somewhere.

He looked at his parents' and friends' seats and saw them cheering at him.

"Go Tatsu!!!" is what they were voicing out which somehow made its way through the various noises surrounding them.

Tatsuo smiled and waved at them cheerfully and raise his thumbs up.

While on the other side.

Red Ants setter, Mizuki, thought that all power he has was not even enough to overpower a kid! Even after his teammates sympathize with him, he clenched his hands tighter as he thought of serving with even more power than before. (He was saying that he will break his limit)

"Don't mind! Don't mind! We'll get the next point, understood?" Shion Inunaki cheered his teammates.

"Yes!"

Inunaki nodded and can't help but look toward the kid who surprised all of his members which caused them to lose a point.

'That kid read the ball right after Mizuki (Red ants setter) served...' Inunaki shook his head as he himself can't believe that he thought of the nigh-impossible read.

(AN: I was planning to not name him but was forced to because of the monologue -_-)

Shion Inunaki himself was a libero so, he knew how hard to achieve that kind of reading. It was in the realm of impossibility.

'Even professionals will have a hard time reading the ball what more to expect from a kid... No, maybe they can't even do that...' Inunaki shook his head at how absurd his thinking went.

He even thought that it was still impossible even if the player has a vast amount of experience.

'It was just luck' he convinced himself before beckoning his team to return to their proper disposal.

Blue Tigers

Katsu walked toward the service line while Tatsuo's placement was now in the back row middle area.

Indicating that he will have to do a bit more than his teammates in receiving as the libero tends to move around the court during this time.

Tatsuo focused on imitating the scene earlier but... he can't, somehow.

But that didn't matter he could keep up with the game flow anyways. Nonetheless, he still felt disappointed.

He shrugs the thought and focuses more on the game.

*Bang!*

Katsu's serve was powerful but quite lacking compared to Red Ants Setter.

The ball went towards another national player invitee and received it perfectly.

Tatsuo was amazed himself. The posture and the balance were great! but now was not the time to compliment others!

He feels quite disturbed at himself for keeping this thought of his affects his focus.

'Maybe, it's because it's the first game I've ever played with complete players...'

But even when his slightly unfocused, he can still grasp the intention of the enemy team.

The Red Ants planned to attack where there is no defender.

The front.

They can score by doing a feint.

"Se~no!" Meian commanded.

(AN: simply means '1, 2, go')

But they can't do that. Why? because there is an iron wall at the front!

*Thud*

Ball landed on the red side.

"Hey, hey! aren't you bullying us too much!?" Inunaki complained to Meian.

Gaining the attention of all players. As the crowd above was far from them, they can only see the scene on the court.

"It's your skills that are not up to par" Meian response angered Inunaki even more.

"It's your face that is not up to par!" Inunaki went personal. He has the look of 'what you gonna about it'

"It's your height that is not up to par!" Meian retorted. He had the 'beat that' look.

Ticks of anger appeared on both Meian and Inunaki's faces. Meian walks toward Inunaki who also walks toward him.

They are now holding each other's collars, ready to fight anytime.

*whistles!*

"Both captains! Back to your team!" the scorer yelled.

""Tsk, lucky guy"""

The first set of the match quickly ended as the momentum of the match was on the Blue Tigers' side!

But even then, Red Ants tried their best to break the momentum which they almost succeeded because of their super-good libero!

Should I make this into a semi-fantasy? I just thought of enhancing their ability to a new level. Not too much that it almost feels nonsense. Should I or should I? what do you think?

I'm asking a question because I don't know myself HAHAHAHAHA but I think it'll be interesting.
