3 Chapter 2

Hadrian was slightly amused seeing Jupiter's son Prometheus stole the Magic his father had gathered over the millennium,so easily and all because his best friend and lover, fell ill.

But it was for nothing as Ashur died and Prometheus out of spite, gave the magic he stole to the village, believing that the people could help themselves instead of worshiping fickle, uncaring gods. He was foolish,the magic in turn created witches and psychics.It was an impulsive decision,but the boy was naive.

Hadrian looking at Lynn asked"So have you heard about Prometheus theft?"

Lynn nodded and replied"Yes,I heard everything from my niece.I have to say it was an unexpected turn of events."

Hadrian hummed and replied, "The decision was reckless,I have been hearing a lot of rumors about the people who were given magic now wanting to be gods."

Lynn's eyes widened hearing this,also she knew this was bad since she knew how paranoid her brother was as she muttered"Ohhhh this is going to be a massacre."

Hadrian nodded and agreed with Lynn,just like they thought the humans in greed for power sought the same power and privilege the gods abused. They didn't want to stop worshiping the gods, but, in turn, they wanted to become them and in their lust for that power, monsters were born, along with many of the world's ills.

The witches that created the monster and they couldn't control them.The monsters like dragons,Gargoyles and Arachne attacked their creators.It was a massacre some of the gods like Jupiter and Poseidon brought down their own wrath by bringing storms and tsunamis.Thus showing the power of gods to mortals,who didn't dare try to do anything similar at least for now.

The monsters pretty much wreaked havoc among the mortal world and witches were in trouble as some of the monsters were too powerful to be taken down.

Among the monsters was the Dragon,who caused the most damage as witchcraft couldn't affect it.

Hadrian was curious about so-called dragons in this world and soon found one of them attacking a nearby village.

The dragon in this world were interesting they could shapeshift and take human forms,some even smart enough to speak human languages.

They mostly stay in specific regions and hoarded shiny things,also they mostly slept for centuries and are only awake for a couple of years before going to sleep again.

Hadrian looked around the burnt remnants of the village and found the people had escaped, although some of them were still killed.

The Dragon lady was wearing clothes and chances are it was stolen from one of her victims and she was curious about the human and could Hadrian was different,but couldn't fully tell what it was as Hadrian was suppressing is the aura that showed his blessing of Nature goddess.

As she questioned in dragonic or serpent tongue "Who are you and Why are you in my territory?"

Hadrian in serpent tongue replied, "No,this is not your territory,since I have been living here for way longer than you."

She didn't like that answer one bit, as Hadrian noticed her features slowly changing, such as her eyes, throat and mouth glowing orange and blew a torrent of flames.

Hadrian simply raised his hand creating a blue barrier and blocking the flames without any issues.

The Dragon lady was surprised seeing this as the witches she encountered were not resisting her flames so effortlessly.

So she shape shifter and grew in mass at a considerable rate, scales covered her skin, horns grew from her forehead, she produced a tail, and her arms and hands developed into wings.

Hadrian smiled and muttered, "That's interesting to completely change their mass,it looks similar to animagi."

As the dragon flapped her wings and took flight circling above, then quickly dove towards Hadrian and opened her mouth as he throat and mouth glow orange and readied to blow fire.

But Hadrian with just a wave of hand conjured up a spear and launched it straight to it's mouth killing it instantly and it dragon came crashing into the ground.

Hadrian hummed and did a diagnosis spell on the dead body.He found they have very strong skin and witchcraft seems to not fully work on them.He wanted experiment a few thing on it
