15 Chapter 12 Camelot and Morgana

During this time Hadrian heard about a the Old Religion is a form of extremely powerful magic notably followed by the Druids.This type was magic was versatile and also was very hard to control,so it wasn't practiced much like traditional magic.

Hadrian wasn't shocked when he heard about Camelot, but never gave it much interest until he heard about their new King Uther Pendragon.The news about the man going on hunt for magical's was not suprising.

Hadrian was reading through a book on Druidic Magic and Old Religion, when Qetsiyah saw it, she was curious and asked"What about these Druids?.....I only heard about them."

Hadrian explained"They worship nature,practice magic for good means and are generally a peaceful race.They very much like other witches,just they are much more powerful and even though they are peaceful,it doesn't mean they won't fight back."

Qetsiyah nodded,while she noticed Hadrian looking slightly troubled as she questioned"What is it?"

Hadrian sighed and answered"It's just there is Kingdom called Camelot,their king Uther Pendragon has gone insane and started now what is called the great purge, he is ordering the executions of hundreds of sorcerers regardless of how they used their magic.Many of the magic users and some of them are druids that now ended up in the Sanctuary."

Qetsiyah frowned and asked"What was reason for all this?"

Hadrian shrugged and replied"I belive it is something to do with his wife.He went crazy after her death, so my guess is magic was involved in her death."

Hadrian was now curious, when he heard about the Uther's son prince Arthur turning 19 and his ward the infamous Morgana.

So he became interested in the famed Kingdom of Camelot,so he went to visit and made few arragements with the identity from loyal which family, who had married into the Royal family of Azaria.The kingdom was an ally and tarding partner of Camelot,so Uther wasn't stupid enough to break it and he didn't know the royal family had witch ancestry.

So Hadrian was now their nephew and this made able to move around without too much issues,he met all the famous and infamous individuals that night.

Hadrian arrived in Camelot,which looked flourishing.But Hadrian could feel Camelot was cursed and the one who cursed it wasn't an small witch or witches.This was from Nature herself and that's when he bumped into someone,he never guessed.

It was the girl had dark brown wavy hair which sometimes appears to be black in a certain light. She has grey-green eyes and pale skin.She was wearing a cloak to not draw attention.

This was none other than Morgana Le fay or now Glorius.She was the ward of Uther Pendragon and she skipped outside to meet her attendant,Gwen who was sick.That's when she bumped into emerald eyed stranger.

Hadrian apologized"Sorry about that."

Morgana nodded and with smile replied"No,problem."

Hadrian smiled and replied"My name is Hadrian Black."

Morgana smiled and said"My name is Mor...Gwen."

Hadrian smiled and asked"Then could you tell me a good tavern nearby."

Morgana gestured to good one and they talked for sometime before parting ways.Morgana smiled at departing figure,she hasn't felt attraction like this from long time.Also she didn't know Hadrian was among the guest list for the ball.

As King Palace,which was a grand setting, lavish furnishings on a long rectangular table. It's clear we're a long way from the Round Table of Arthurian legend. Hadrian dad the young Prince Arthur messing around with his mates,while his eyes settled on a Uther, who was an absolute bastard,but his eyes came into contact with a his second bond mate, the girl had dark brown wavy hair which sometimes appears to be black in a certain light. She has grey-green eyes and pale skin.

Uther gestured towards beautiful lady and sad"May I present the Lady Morgana, my ward."

Hadrian bows to kiss Morgana's hand while Arthur looks on with a wry grin.

While Hadrian smiled and said"My Lady."

Morgana felt her heart beat quicken, when she saw his emerald green eyes again,something about those eyes enchanted her as she smiled and said"I heard you are very gifted scholar."

Hadrian smiled and replied"I wouldn't say gifted."

They talked for while and the atmosphere around them surprised Arthur and Uther because they never seen Morgana so excited and open.

Arthur was slightly jealous walked away to meet his friends, while Uther had to talk with few of the important guests.

Hadrian grinned at Morgana and said"I must say Gwen.It is nice to see you again."

Morgan's had slight blush, but replied"I didn't know you at that time and I was't exactly supposed to be out at that time."

Hadrian nodded and asked"So can I call you Morgana."

Morgan's grinned and replied"You may kind sir."and Hadrian couldn't keep a stoic face and laughed with Morgana joining in.
