"Sir, are you sure this is here?" a man asked as he walked through a dense and dark forest

The man had dark hair and black eyes were wearing bronze armour that covered his abdomen and chest, leaving his lower body unprotected.

"Yes, Ilonidas, I'm sure it's here" Another man replied by cutting a branch with a machete "this is the forest of the predator, the forest that connects the realm of the god Hades with this world that only appears in the mortal world once every 50 years"

The second man was blond and had green eyes. This man was Eralius the madman. A 200-year-old Magus seeking immortality.

He originally had his power derived from the blessing of Zeus the king god of Olympus, but when the god went to the reverse side of the world along with many of the other gods 100 years ago

"Hoo, I didn't know this forest was something so legendary," Ilonidas said gaping in surprise, and he shivered in fear, "should we stain Lord Hades' forest? Won't he be mad?"

'Silly Mortal'

Eralius smiled as he saw fear in Ilonidas. He had taken the mortal as an apprentice a short time ago because he saw a talent for magic in the boy. But, he soon regretted finding out that the boy was too honest to be a wizard

'a Greek god called Hades does not exist'

Yes, Zeus himself confirmed to him 100 years ago that there was no god of the dead in his pantheon, called Hades. The god of the underworld of the Greek pantheon was Pluto and not Hades

Eralius after discovering this fact a long time ago decided to start studying the Hades legend further and discovered something he never thought was possible.

Hades was the son of Rhea but not Kronos and had a vampire nature. The one who also had a dead apostle named Hades stigma who was killed and had his place taken by a forest

Eralius did not judge them because if he had such ability he would do the same as the younger gods who only used the power of faith.

He in his stupor of having discovered the origin of one of the oldest myths in the world also discovered about the forest of the predator that took the place of that Hade's Stigma as the 7th of the 27 ancestors of the dead apostles

'wrong, the forest must be the vampire's reality marble'

So at that time, Eralius discovered something else.

'The fruit that grows in the core of the forest has the power to confer eternal life'

Just reading those words over 100 years ago gave Eralius the strength to continue to live and continue to develop his magic after Zeus left, limiting the blessing that kept Eralius' youth up to date.

He stuttered and started looking all around him when he saw a small branch under his foot moving.

He jumped, startled when he felt and saw the branch attacking his foot like a snake. Eralius took two leaps backwards away from the branch as fast as he could until he stopped when he hit his back against a tree

"What are you" Eralius yelled in anger and raised his hand showing his palm towards the branch "Lightning"

A green bolt came out of Eralius' palm and hit the branch squarely, turning it to dust.

"hehe, this is for learning not to challenge me" Eralius growled proudly with a light mocking laugh "This filthy forest is collecting blood for something... wait that means... fuck"

Eralius looked suspiciously around the entire forest with eyes wide with fear, he finally realized the reason for the legends about the fruit of immortality

'It doesn't have a fruit of immortality but a cocoon, this damned forest is collecting blood to resurrect the dead apostle Hades'

Eralius breathed heavily and looked back, too, to the side, to the front, and finally to the other side. All the trail he followed was gone and he was lost

'damn, I have to get out of here

Eralius thought to himself and prepared another electricity spell to clear the path through the forest. but it was too late the tree branches began to move around him and one of them like a snake attacked him aiming with its point at Eralius' chest

"Arkh"

Eralius vomited blood when he felt a sharp pain in his chest and looked down

'a piece of wood?'

tears welled up in his eyes when he saw the huge piece of wood across his chest and tried to speak one last curse

But before he could speak, The branch pulled him back, dragging him into the deepest part of the forest.

In the darkest place in the forest 100 very different animals from wolves, snakes, jaguars, rats, bats, deer, moose, bears, all of them huge, these animals were all sitting in front of a huge fruit that was over six feet tall

saying it was a fruit was not the right distinction, in fact, the fruit was a cocoon that had a body inside

The wall was semi-transparent to the point where you could see the shadow of a person sleeping inside it.

One of the animals, the bear, opened its eyes and got up and went to the cocoon calmly. The bear calmly raised his paw and with his nails ripped the cocoon, causing the man who was sleeping inside it to fall to the ground.

All the animals opened their eyes and started making wild grunts, and the man opened his blue eyes for the first time in a long time.

When he saw the man open his eyes, the animals snorted and the bear approached him, catching him with its mouth by the leg and shaking the man

"What?" The man gave a startled grunt as he was shaken and looked at the bear with red eyes looking at him, "you're the linuis, how you grew up girlyyyyy"

The man tried to give his happy length to the bear that spun him around and before the man could speak a single word he released him, making the man fly away from the forest becoming a star as he went away in the sky

"are you sure you don't want to talk to him anymore" a huge wolf with black poles spoke in a human voice transforming into a red-eyed human "you've waited so long"

"He's a fool, and we've taken care of him for millennia" The bear spoke in a female voice and turned into a muscular woman also with red eyes "it's time for him to see the world"

The animals little by little began to transform into red-eyed humans and one last animal transformed

"I think we should explore the world too" this animal was an eagle turned into an old man with red eyes "knows how to live a little before we go back to sleep for the next 50 years"
