78 The Nuclear Chaos

It is imperative that you read this chapter with the deepest and slowest voice you can imagine. Very important.

"This is the deeper voice"

What an interesting moment in the story we are about to witness. Something never seen before is about to take place and we shall see it first hand. Well, I can tell he has come a long way since the time he abandoned his sister Hestia in their father's stomach. Quite impressive indeed.

His understanding and use of his power are very creative. But he hasn't changed that much yet. He is still wasting his time in that weak universe, instead of climbing the ranks ... that is disappointing.

Love ... I guess that is the reason for it.

.

.

.

What a useless emotion in the grand scheme of things. But what a powerful one indeed. He will have to shed himself of this weakness sooner or later. It's holding him back. But he will understand sooner or later and I will have to tell him then. I wonder how long it will take now...

.

.

.

Oh? Some progress, it would seem. But why is he ... I see. How sad for him. He can't cross the last hurdle at all ... the most important one, some would say.

It is interesting to see it happen like this. It has to have been ... aeons now ... since I last saw the process being attempted. What a disaster that was ... truly tragic, humans would say.

But in the end ... it doesn't matter ... nothing does.

.

.

.

Interesting ... I guess that ... shouldn't be possible. What did he do? How come he managed to pass that hurdle without understanding it and shedding himself from that weakness? That is a thorn in his side now.

Is 'HE' helping him? No ... no he is not.

Peculiar indeed. The anomaly, just like 'Soth' said. I also can't understand it. And that ... is impossible. So weak and yet ... so much potential. True limitless potential. Has anyone ever seen it? No, not even 'HE' has it.

(Hades POV)

I open my eyes and ... see nothing. Absolutely nothingness. No, that's not true. I'm not seeing anything. I am indeed seeing nothingness. There is a difference. I do not see the absence of 'anything' but the presence of 'nothing'.

"It seems you figured that out very quickly ... heir."

I feel my soul and entire existence shake like a leaf in November weather.

I, Hades, the formidable god of the underworld, whose stoic demeanour and unparalleled power have struck fear into the hearts of gods and primordials, found myself facing a terror, unlike anything I have ever experienced.

.

It began with an ominous disturbance in the balance of the cosmos, a ripple that reverberated through the depths of nothingness and chaos. I, usually impervious to fear, felt an unsettling chill that pierced my soul. The nothingness in his realm seemed to twist and wrench in unnatural ways, whispering unknown secrets and echoes that sent shivers through the very essence of my being.

The disturbance intensified ... but whatever it was hadn't even said anything else. It was still the after-effect of that one sentence. I sensed a presence that eclipsed even my wildest imagination. I immediately took my senses back, but it was for nought. I had to shut them off. It was far too painful.

A force, boundless and unfathomable, began to advance upon the boundaries of my being. This entity emanated an aura of primordial dread, a power that transcended the order of the cosmos. That's it ... there was no order or logic to this ... being.

In the heart of his vast, foreboding nothingness, I faced the manifestation of my deepest fear. An entity, born from the chaotic void before the gods or creation itself was before me. Its form was ever-shifting, a nightmarish amalgamation of nightmares and forgotten horrors.

The very air grew thick with an oppressive darkness, suffocating me, the god who had long been immune to the fear of death. True and absolute death was what I saw ... the certainty of my end and the most absolute of ENDs ever.

(Unknown POV)

I said one sentence ... and look at him now. About to get destroyed. Never to be used or to exist again. What a disappointment. But I guess it was a bit much to speak to him even before he got used to the nothingness and chaos around here.

I am ... mean is the word I believe.

Oh look at that... the speck of dust in front of me ... there is a fire in him. Is it his will? I see ... marvellous indeed. So that's what 'HE' sees in him. That is a very powerful little will he has there. How cute.

.

.

.

Hm? What did he do? He ... is getting better ... I thought it would take another nonillion Yog-years. But he was quicker than that. A bit.

Good for him.

.

.

.

(3rd Person POV)

The existence of Hades was slowly beginning to break apart like Thanos in the end of 'Endgame'. But it was even more complicated. Everything about him was getting turned to nothingness.

.

However in the centre of his being ... there was a small spark. A small spark of Hades' will that was unwilling. Unwilling to let go. Unwilling to accept this situation. He was unwilling!!!

From that unwillingness, the spark was ignited and an explosion was unleashed. An explosion of Hades' will. He refused the current situation and unleashed it outwards. Had he been on Earth or in the Bleach universe, it would have destroyed it entirely. But here ... it didn't matter.

It wasn't even so much as a breeze for the being that was watching him. He would have missed it if he hadn't been watching Hades.

.

The pressure intensified and Hades began to reform. His body was remade from scratch and all the destroyed parts were discarded. It took a long time ... and the power of his will was pressing against the chaos that permeated the nothingness.

As time passed, Hades was growing weaker ... and then finally ... he was finished with his work and then passed out.

(Hades POV)

I don't know how long it has been but ... I finally managed to regain my consciousness and wake up. I feel ... strange. I don't know how I can put it into words but this was a dangerous experience. The voice of him ... him, it? I'm not sure, but the voice alone was enough to kill me.

"I guess it just ... doesn't matter. Am I right?"

"You're right little one. Nothing matters in the end."

There is still this shiver that runs down my spine when I hear the voice. Just what ...

"That's natural. You won't grow out of that any time soon. Now tell me ... why are you here, little heir?"

"I came to you for a request. I wish to get your assistance for a short time in the near future. I was wondering if you would like to open some eyes?"

"So that's how it is ... the reason for your spark ... you are a lucky one. She's a keeper."

"I know."

.

"Very well. I will do it."

"Oh? Wow, that was easy. Thank you very much. See you!"
