Typing away at a keyboard, the outline of a person can be seen. The person seems to have a large hoody on, obviously to big for them. They were leaning forward, the task they were doing had their whole attention.

There are two screens in front of the person. The one to the left of them showing a website, specifically an online store, and an email. The other has many windows open, but what they all had in common is that they hold only codes.

Suddenly the person stops typing. The left screen starts glitching. "3...2...1..", a voice said. Many will tell you that it had no ominous sound, to then it was as if one was singing a song. Only the people it's directly applying to will 'hear' a sadistic undertone.

The left screen starts to glitch in their peripheral vision. Turning to it, they start to have a small simple smile, anyone close to them would have freaked out.

------‐-------------------------------------------------------------

Many were in fact freaking out, just not about the smile. They were trying to fix the millions upon millions of viruses that entered their systems. Destroying every server, backup data, accounts, etc. Everything connected to that company became the plaque of viruses.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?" The one person who everyone knew not to be messed with came out of his office. The boss and creator of the company, Tani Dai. Not only is he one of the most successful entrepreneurs to this day, but he also ran a company named Fiasco. It replaced what used to be Google for internet searching and link gathering. Looking at him, everyone froze. His height, which so happens to be 6'9, and body, that of a pure bodybuilder(bulk shoulders and filled arms), makes him very, VERY, frightening.

"Sir, there was a hacker in our systems!" frantically screamed an employee. Dai gave a menacing glare. Everyone shivers, his glares are said to kill people with heart attacks.

"You said, 'was', how about now? What damage did they manage to do be for you caught them." Silence. "What HAPPENED?" He south once more, with more enforcement on his angry tone. A young woman slowly gets up from her desk and begins to speak, "I-It was a one-shot a-and r-run s-sir." He lessens his glare a little. "So we need to locate them still. What about the damage?" The women's knees crumble underneath her. "T-the da-damage was dealt d-directly to the s-s-server r-room." He hesitates for one second. Sprinting to the elevator, he quickly heads to the basement.

Upon arriving, there is chaos. Every technician, engineer, and even the janitors were running from server box to sever box. Stopping a young man in a suit, he holds his arm to make sure the man doesn't run."Have we found which one was attacked?"

The panicked man couldn't seem to think straight for a moment. He was looking at him in confusion while trying to escape the hold. "If you are down here then don't you know?!?!" He practically shouted but seemed to not realize exactly Who he was speaking to. "Every server and signal is down! The virus is everywhere and changes every time we do something!" The shock makes Dai release the man.

'What? How?' Walking to the head of the department, he starts to release his glare. The walk was brisk and fast. The head's office was in an even larger wreck. Slamming open the door, the head was frozen.

"Any clue which hacker or company did this?" Dai said in a calm, cold voice. The head shook his head. "None sir, all rivals are scared. And any of the hackers that could do this, are not owning up to it. This is a monumental event for any person on the internet. Many of the lesser-known hackers are trying to claim it, but none of the code match up to this one! Every second with this virus is killing a fourth of a website. After an hour, the entire company, backups, and all will be deleted forever!"

------‐-------------------------------------------------------------

Flipping through the website, the person closes the Fiasco store tab. Clicking onto the email window, they check what was asked of them.

It's an encrypted coding system. More than ten programmers have worked together on this for around a year now. Hopefully trying to solve it will bring enjoyment. I have been told hackers are very curious people.

"Hey! Arashi!" Turning around they see the one person they can deal with. Jefferson Thomas, a blonde-haired boy with the personality of a crackhead, standing at the door. The person's face now can be seen in the light from the door.

Sitting in the chair, there is a short black-haired, pale Japanese girl. Even a blind person would tell you she is ugly. Messy hair, broken out skin, eye bags, greasy skin and hair, small breasts, lanky body, and large baggy clothes. Besides her eyes, the bright blue like electricity in its pure form, nothing about her screams girl or beauty.

As she stands, it's also obvious that she's small, especially compared to Jeff's 6'5 height. "Hi, Jeff." The monotone voice is no surprise to him, "Why are you here today?" That question sparks his enthusiasm, "The trumpets wanted to go out and each brings a buddy."

She stares at the boy. The longer it takes before she answers the more awkward Jeff gets. "You want to bring me?" She finally asks, "Why?" The final question lets Jeff release a sigh. "One reason, your an oboe player. Everyone wants to be friends with you guys, but your type is so stubborn and introverted." He smiles... he can feel the glare. "So you want me to come as a bragging right." That did not sound like the question it was phrased to be. "Maybe?" He squeaks, flinching back. She may not have moved an inch, but she might as well be in his face by the presence she is emitting. "You said one reason, what's the other one?" Just as he collects himself, "Choose your words wisely." Having talked to her for a semester now, he kind of got used to that type of threat.

"Second reason, you also play the piano. Which can make the others relax around you. Not to mention is that your one of the only person who handles my jokes well." After a long sigh, Arashi begins again, "When is it?"

Jeff perks up at that. "Tomorrow at 6. There's a new restaurant the guys want to try."

The monotone voice lightens up a slight bit. "I can be there." Jeff stops her, "YOU are going to take a shower and brush through that hair of yours. I will not be having you ruin any reputation of yours for being lazy." This makes her pout, "Can I at least wear my sweats?" Jeff can't help but laugh at that. "The sweats are what everyone knows you for! Just make sure that they are clean!" There is a happy light in her eyes. "Thanks, Mom." Jeff sputters at that, "Now out of my dorm room." His mind still on a blue screen, Arashi can easily push him out of her room. Closing the door behind her, she hears a ding.

Opening her email, she sees something that makes her cackle madly in her mind.

How were you able to do this?! The entire business is shutting down rapidly. Not to mention I am getting a front-row seat to this madness! The money has been placed in the account agreed on. The additional reward is below. I hope to make a great ally from you.

Clicking on the link shows a very complex and encrypted code. 'This looks like fun!' Arashi reaches for the mouse.

*Zap*

Quickly removing her hand. She steps back. 'Ow! I think this is the computer telling me to go to sleep. I wonder how much static I built up in the mouse from that project.' Quickly closing anything to do with hacking, she logs out. Slipping into the bed, she knocks out...

...I was so naive to think that zap was simply static.
