This time he was going to hunt a chaos creature for his third origin crystal and he would have to do it alone, one should remember that he was still 12 years at the time.

Hong told him that he should venture into the forest of chaos, it is said there is a gateway to the chaos realm within that forest, because of that there are many chaos creatures in that forest.

the year was coming to an end and Zise was the only one in his entry still stuck at level 2, some students had even risen to the fourth rank already.

people were wondering why as the best student at the entry he was still stuck that low with his training. Many expected him to be at least at the fourth level by now however he was still at level 2 peak.

none of them was aware that Zise was purposefully suppressing his cultivation, as he headed into the chaos forest he was escorted by his forging master.

Hong told him that he wouldn't interfere unless they encounter a creature above level 3. however for anything level 3 and below he would have to face it himself.

they set off into the forest, the borders of the forest were guarded by military troops, this was to prevent the chaos creatures from running rampart and murdering civilians.

these soldiers wouldn't let anyone that isnt a cultivator inside the forest, however even well cultivators would need to be accompanied by atleast a level 5 cultivator to be let in,

only cultivators at level 5 and above could enter chaos forests on their own, Zise was still a twelve year old level 2 cultivator, there was no way he was going to enter the forest on his own.

on arrival at the entrance of the forest the soldiers were shocked to see who had arrived, Hong Li had a reputation in the world,

during his prime days he had been a force to be reckoned, even the captain of the guards, a level 8 cultivator came forward and respectively bowed to master Hong.

in their seven years together Zise had never seen his master's mana ring however seeing as he was highly praised by these people it should be very high, or maybe it was his status as a rank 8 blacksmith,

at rank five blacksmiths start forging cultivator weapons, these are weapons that recieve the blessing of heaven and contain fighting skills,

to forge such a weapon a blacksmith would have to attune to the laws of nature and guide them into the weapon he is crafting, weapons had five levels.

normally level 5 weapons are crafted only by level 9 blacksmiths however at level 8 Hong could craft level 5 wepaons making him special among his peers.

His appearance made him special so he was highly respected, the soldier asked if Hong needed any help on his trip to the chaos forest.

Hong simply said that he is simply escorting his student to get his third origin crystal, this was the first time Hong had publicly addressed Zise as his disciple. normally he just referred to him as Zise.

upon hearing that Zose was Hong's disciple there were envious looks on the faces of the rest of the soldiers in the battalion ,

regardless the two of them were let through the gates and they entered the chaos forest, this forest was special in a way that it was always dark inside the forest, whether it was the mid of the night or mid of the day there was no difference inside the forest.

this was the proof that the forest was clouded in the environment of the Chaos realm, the chaos creatures were naturally creatures of Darkness so they were empowered by the dark,

even light chaos beasts usually devoured the surrounding light turning their surroundings dark, this darkness had a suppression effect on cultivators preventing them from unleashing their best.

the darkness however had the opposite effect on chaos creatures as it empowered them making them surpass their limits in a battle,

This was why it wasn't a good thing to enter the chaos forest alone, as they entered Zise was already getting terrified. he could feel the darkness seeping into his body and sapping his strength,

noticing this, Hong tapped Zose on the shoulder and run his mana through Zise's body, Zise felt warm energy surge through his body warming him up and pushing out the coldness brought about by the dark.

at that time Zise's blood essence awakened instantly, rushing through his body it empowered him and pushed the darkness back,

instantly Zise's body glowed purple gold as illusory dragon scales appeared allover his body, that illusory light resisted the effect of the darkness instantly.

Hong was surprised by the occurence but he was also pleased, unfortunately this effect wasn't to their advantage.

although human cultivators couldn't detect the purity of Zise's blood essence, the chaos creatures could. after sensing him, the weaker ones fled instantly however those daring enough turned to attack.

in a short while the two of them were surrounded by scores of chaos creatures and the weakest of them was at least level 2,

there were even some level 4 and level 5 creatures in the group, they hadn't even been in the forest for an hour but they were already surrounded.

unfortunately none of the creatures surrounding them belonged to the lightning element, as expected the level two beasts attacked first,

they were around seven level 2 chaos creatures and they ranged from wolves to lion type, they belonged to the earth, metal, wood and fire elements.

for level 2 chaos beats Zise didn't even need his weapons for those, he attacked them straight on and pummeled them with his fists,

ever since he merged with the dragon bloodline his strength and endurance had stabilized at two levels above his current level,

this meant that being at level 30 meant his strength and endurance were equivalent to a level 50 cultivator, with that level of strength these creatures were nothing to him.

his fists moved at lightning speed and the edges of his knuckles seemed to possess illusory dragon scales, whenever they contacted the chaos creatures the chaos creatures would get torn apart.

after he had obliterated the first five the others attempted to escape and that is when his speed came into play,

with one step he exploded like a sonic blast and in a second he had annihilated the remaining five chaos creatures. whenever he killed a chaos creature he would swallow it into his sector along with its origin crystal.

although selling the crystals was worth a lot of money they were more beneficial to him as food for the dragon, when it came to money he hadn't even touched the 400 golden coins from his parents,

on the contrary he had added on them and currently he had close to 600 gold coins as his savings, that didn't include silver and copper coins.

after he finished the level 2 creatures, the rest didn't wait, they all attacked at once. despite his strength, resilience and speed he wouldn't survive against them, the beat he could do was run amongst them.

however at level 4 and 5 these creatures were either at his pace or even faster than him, only level 3 creatures couldn't catch up to him.

luckily he hadn't come alone to the forest, Master Hong's eyes lit up with fire and in that very instant a gigantic 50 meter fiery red projection of a man holding twin hammers appeared behind him.

this was spiritual manifestation, it was the mark of an advanced cultivator, only level 7 and above could manifest this form.

Master Hong raised his hand and the projection mirrored his actions, suddenly an intense pressure appeared around them,

Zise was stopped in his tracks instantly, he also wasn't the only one stopped, his blood essence churned and a low level roar was released from his body, at that moment Hong looked at Zise and the pressure was lifted off of him.

Zise then summoned his weapon, he had forged the staff to mirror his father's inherited weapon except this one wasn't silver gold.

the one he forged himself was purple and chrome colored however due to the endless refinement he had performed on it it was incredibly tough.

to these creatures it could just as well be a divine weapon thanks to the pressure from master Hong, Zise instantly unleashed his first fighting technique,

it was heaven earth tremor, in that instant, the staff got filled with power, every strike he landed a vibrational effect was released making the strike stacked so that it carried the effect of three consecutive strikes,

one strike from his staff was enough to shatter the head of a level 3 demon hare, Zise knew the strike wa powerful however it had never been this effective.

this strike he had just landed carried the effect of five consecutive strikes instead of three, even Hong was shocked by the results but at that moment he had understood what happened,

Zise was coming to the same realization, when Hong unleashed his spiritual domain he had oppressed the creatures to the point that they were locked in place,

however something else has happened, when Zise was unleashing that strike earlier it wasn't made of his strength alone but rather the strike also borrowed strength from Hong's domain.

this elevated its strength taking it a few levels above Zise's current level, this was the miraculous effect of the heaven earth absolute manual.

with that effect Zise made quick work of the level 3 and level 4 creatures. as for the level 5 creatures the first skill was powerful enough to eliminate them,

to this end he unleashed the second skill heaven earth shatters. this skill was more like the first skill but much more deadly,

heaven earth shatters didn't release a stacked effect when unleashed however when the staff strikes, a vibrational effect enters the body of the victim as well

the only difference was that this time the vibrational effect would position itself at the vital points of an individual and upon Zise's command the energy in the opponent's body would explode shattering their vital organs instantly.

without full mastery he couldn't unleash the skill to it's best potential, at that moment Hong retracted his spiritual domain. he would need a short period of rest before he could unleash the domain once again.

after two years of absorption the thunder dragon had finally fully absorbed all the beast bodies and origin cores they had obtained from spirit valley,

since they were spirit beasts they were harder to digest and provided more benefits, two months ago the dragon had taken in the last of them and had been in hibernation since then,
