1 1; Preparation ; Kynlee's POV

I have packed my necessary equipment for ghost hunting; Camera, EMF reader, spirit box, noise-cancelling headphones, blind fold, ovilus, EVP, cat balls, a REM pod, dowsing rods, thermal reader, a Oujia Board, and a SLS Camera. All of which are necessary for ghost hunting then the regulars. Phone, phone charger, watch, clothes, shoes, a brush, and a toothbrush along with toothpaste.

My subscribers have been bugging me to go to this Sanatorium for a while. Madison is meeting me at the airport.

< At the airport>

" Madi!" I shout excited.

" Lee!" She exclaims rushing to hug me. " You excited?" She asks picking her suitcase up.

"Of course!" I exclaim.

" Lets get this show in the air shall we?" Madi says as we start through security. It takes us a few minutes to get pass security but we luckily reach our gate in time.

" Guess who got us first class~" Madi sings. My eyes widen as she pulls out the tickets.

" Madi, are you serious!" I ask ecstatic. She nods and hands me my ticket.

" Our paycheck came Monday and since today IS your birthday I was like, why not." Madison exclaims.

" Oh my gosh! Thank you so much girly!" I say happily and give her a bone crushing hug. She laughs.

" FIRST CLASS PASSENGERS MAY BOARD NOW" The intercom announces. I quickly sit up and grab my phone and charger. We walk into the first class line and wait patiently even though we were both wanting to scream and jump in excitement. Not long after we joined the line we were up next and we gave our tickets to the flight attendant. She looked down and her eyes widened.

" Kynlee Mader and Madison Frier?" She asks. I nod and give a look of confusion.

" You guys are my idols! It's such a privilege to be serving you!" The young woman says happily. I smile at her.

" Can you sign this?" She asks holding out her phone case which has our merch sign. A capital E with vines and flowers wrapping around it and the uppercase abbreviation 'EXPD'.

" Of course." We both smile. She hands me a pen and I sign my name and Madi signs hers.

" You may go now." The flight attendant squeals. We nod at her and walk down the terminal tunnel thing. When we board the plane many children and even some adults widen their eyes as we pass pay through economy and into first class. We sit down in the row that has two seats.

" 1A and 1B, these are them." Madi says. I pick up our suitcases and open the overhead compartment. I put or equipment in last and our suitcases in first. I sit down quickly so I get the window seat.

" Hey! That's no fair!" Madi whines. I shrug and smirk. She lets out an exaggerated sigh and sits down.

" How long is this flight?" I ask as we begin to take off.

" Well, the Sanatorium is in West Virginia and we're in Texas so I would say... About 5 hours." Madi estimates. I nod happy with the time. I put my earphones in and pull out my book. Maybe two hours later I look out my window and see the sunset. I admire it for a few minutes until I feel something hit my shoulder. I turn my head around slowly and see Madi's head on my shoulder and I hear her snoring softly.

" Oh you silly goose." I whisper. I push her up gently and push the arm rest up so she's more comfortable. I'm sure I fell asleep too because I woke up to Madi shaking me.

" Kynlee we're here." She whispers. I groan and yawn, I stretch my arms and stand up. " How'd you sleep?" Madi asks while grabbing our suitcases and equipment.

" Good, what about you?" I say stumbling out of the row still really tired. She smiles and we walk out of the plane into the tunnel terminal again.

" I have a hotel already checked out for us." I say, yawning again. Which makes Madi yawn too.

" Good, because I need a little more sleep." She says and starts walking. I nod and start walking after her. When we arrive outside she takes out her phone and orders an Uber. When the Uber arrives we grab our stuff and hop in. After awhile of uncomfortable silence we arrive a Burgunstans Hotel.

" Our room is 303." I tell her. She nods and I walk up to fully check in. We walk into the elevator and I push floor 3. When the elevator doors slide open me and Madi rush to our room excited to sleep in a real bed.

" Finally." I whisper as I put on my pajamas and crash onto the soft, white, bed sheets and the fluffy pillow. I wake up at 7am to my alarm and start to get ready. I put on a white cami and some denim ripped hem shorts, black chuck shoes, and a tan sweater for when it get chilly. I quietly go to the bathroom and apply my makeup which consists of mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip gloss, perfume and deoderant.

" Should I wake her up?" I whisper to myself. I shake my head and decide to get us breakfast which I know will wake her up. I grab my phone and order another Uber.

" Can you take me to the nearest breakfast place, please?" I ask my Uber driver kindly. She looks at me in the rear view mirror and smiles. Wrinkles form around her eyes.

" Of course, dear!" She says to me happily. I smile and and make small talk with my driver. She was nice and she only charged me thirty dollars instead of the full one hundred.

"Oh my! I can't accept this! I don't wanna get you in trouble!" I try to decline. She looks at me in the mirror and shakes her head.

" You're my first client that is nice with me and likes to make small talk, it's my treat" She says. I smile gratefully and pay her a ten dollar tip. She nods gratefully and I exit the car and head into Willy's Waffles.

" Hello, may I get two orders of number 1 please?" I order. The cashier nods and I wait in a corner. Not too long after, a girl who seems to be in her late teens comes up and gives me my stuff. I nod and pay then leave, I'm prepared to call another Uber until I see the same woman. She looks up and smiles, I smile back. She lets me ride in the front seat this time and we exchange numbers. After the drive to my hotel she gives me a grateful hug and wishes me a nice day.

"This'll be a good day." I say to myself.
