4 Meeting heroes Pt 2

POV Mike

Mike sighed, he had spent the last four hours about his Pseudo GN Drive. It had started by going over his blueprints then he had spent hours covering the GN Particle. It's properties.

He had to go into how dangerous the Pseudo GN Drive could be if not properly regulated. Meaning that if someone created an off brand version it could be poisonous to people around it. He mentioned this to keep either of them from expiramenting too much with the GN Particles.

They asked if his motorcycle was powered by the same drive.

"No, it is powered by my first prototype. More powerful but infinity harder to build." Mike explained.

"So if yours is more powerful why don't you just research it?" Tony asked, hoping to get his hands on the drive.

"No the Pseudo drive has been developed off of tlmy drive and is easily massed produced." Mike stated, then looked at Reed."The Pseudo GN Drive is what I wanted to partner with you about. I need start up capital to get my business started."

Both Reed and Tony got a serious look on their face for all their quirks they were successful businessmen. "Are you selling the blueprint?" Tony asked.

"No, but I can sell exclusive access to the drives for a good price." Mike replied.

"What price are you asking?" Reed asked.

"And can I get in on that too kid?" Tony added.

"It's fine both of you can get in on this but we will need a lawyer to draft a contract." Mike responded.

"So whats the price?" Tony asked

"Five hundred million, along with two other things." Mike answered.

Both looked in amazement, for revolutionary technology like this it was cheap. Reed shook his head. "I don't have that kind of money to spend and if Susan found out I did spend that mush she will kill me."

"No need to worry Reed," Tony said, "I'll foot the bill but I want you helping me and the kid further develop the tech."

Turning back to Mike, "what are your two other conditions?"

"I need a new ID, the works, my old Identity was lost." Mike stated.

Both visibly tensed, "This isn't stolen tech is it?" Reed asked.

"No, I have not broken any laws or stolen those tech from anyone." Mike stated simply. "I lost my home and family along with any ID I might have had."

They visibly relaxed slightly. "I may know someone who can help you out. He happens to be in town we can see him tomorrow." Tony replied.

"What was your second condition?" Reed asked.

"I need a plot of land, at least 1000 acres to build my company on. Some of my projects will need alot of space." Mike stated.

"I have a property that might work used to be a testing ground before my company got out of the arms business. It's about two hours drive up the coast." Tony responded.

"We can talk more when we talk to the lawyer I think we should be able to see her tomorrow morning." Reed stated both he and Tony then went back the the blueprints talking back and forth rapidly. Mike excused himself and left the lab.

As he was wandering around he ran into Ben chasing a flaming man through the apartment while dressed in a pink apron.

"Johnny!!!!!" Ben yelled while chasing him. They disappeared down the stairs with a crash.

"Not again." said a voice behind Mike he turned to see Susan looking tired ash she looked at the slightly bent and burned doorframe the two disappeared down.

Looking back at him she smiles warmly. "Done with Reed already I thought he would have you stuck in that lab all day."

Susan seemed to naturally give off the same vibe as a mother or big sister. When around her you felt like you could rely on her. Mike was sure that she was the reason the Fantastic Four continued to stay together despite their radically different personalities.

While talking with her he opened up easily, and let down his guard. When she asked if he needed to get back to the motel Mike replied.

"No, ma'am, I don't have they money for that I was going to sleep in the park tonight, and get back here tomorrow morning for my meeting with Tony and Reed about the buisness."

Surprised she asked about family or friends.

"None," Mike answered, "I lost my parents along time ago. And I haven't been anywhere long enough to make good friends."

Asking how old he was he responded "16 Ma'am."

Susan was amazed and appalled at the same time. Amazed that a kid so young could develop tech that would excited Reed and Tony. Appalled that Mike was so young and yet had no where to stay.

"You will stay here tonight." She said in a tone that booked no argument.

"I wouldn't want to impose." Mike responded, he did not want to overstay his welcome and was used to being on his own. After all he didn't even have a family in his previous life.

Susan narrowed her eyes before replying. "If it was an imposition I would not have offered. Your clothes are filthy ill show you the shower then Johnny should have clothes that would fit you." She grabbed his arm leading him to the bathroom.

"Throw your dirty clothes in the hamper I'll have Herbie bring you some clothes." Susan said.

"Can someone get the ball off of my bike?" Mike asked "His name is Haro and he is my computer."

Sue nodded before leaving the bathroom. Mike sighed before getting undressed and climbing into the hot shower.

POV Susan Storm

As Susan left the bathroom she gave Herbie the order to get Haro off of his bike and get Mike a set of clothes out of Johnny's room.

She then went to the living room where her guest was sitting."Nat not that it is not good to catch up with you but what are you really here for." She said sitting down.

Natasha contemplated a few minutes on what to tell her exactly. Susan had known her long enough to tell if she lied. Not tomention it was a pretty valid concern that Fury and Coulson had.

"It's the kid Reed picked up today Sue. We have been trying to find him for a week. He is a ghost." She paused before continuing, "Every camera he goes near has its data erased. Radio waved don't work near that bike of his. He is way to good at evading us."

"But he has done nothing wrong." Susan responded. "Maybe he just likes his privacy it's not a crime." She liked Mike and didn't want SHIELD to try to arrest him or something.

"Sue, he is a complete ghost." Natasha explained. "No DNA matches No fingerprint on any file, we checked the cup he drank from in New Mexico. No picture on any social media. He just appeared one day."

Susan was starting to get where she was coming from. It was suspicious.

"You have too many enemies to ignore this. We just want to talk to him a little bit." Natasha continued.

"No." Susan said simply.

"But Sue he is a possible dang..." Natasha tries to reply.

"He is a 16 year old kid. I've seen what your "talks" entale." She emphasized talks. "Run your damn background check if you must but until he proves to be a threat to me or my family he is under our care." Her voice raised.

Susan then escorted her out of the building. On her way back she saw Mike standing there looking grateful. She smiled before saying "Dinner is in an hour hope your hungry."
