POV Kai

Kai looked on to 2 of the greatest heroes in the world. "We need to have a word." Batman said in a low voice. "Indeed about what? What could be so important that you came to Morganrote headquarters in the middle of the night." Mike was a mix of nervous for his secrets and excited (It's Superman and Batman!!!)

Superman was glancing around the complex before stating " How about we talk about the massive complex underneath put feet and the mystery robot everyone is looking floor in a hangar down there." Batman visibly tensed he had seen what that robot was capable of. "That's an invasion of privacy sir, and Morganrote facilities are private property" Mike stated seriously.

POV Superman

(OK the kid does not respond well to perceived threats I just wanted to let him know we knew about the underground facilities so he wouldn't deny them. After all from what I saw this kid could be a hell of a Hero.) "Sorry about that I am used to looking for threats and saw it while making sure all was safe."

Superman watched as Mike relaxed slightly. "That's fine, but I'm protective of my company and won't reveal alot even to you two. "You could have killed someone with that thing" Batman stated while looking at Mike seriously. Superman wanted to slap his best friend in the back of the head. He had just calmed things down and gotten the kid to relax, and he had to be confrontational, really?

POV Batman

(A kid with access to the kind of firepower that the robot had put off unthinkable.) Batman thought to himself. " In addition your company does not have a permit for such military grade weaponry." Batman started to move closer to intimidate Mike. He stopped when he heard Mike state, " Mr Wayne, I doubt this is how you want to make a first impression with my company."

" Are you trying to blackmail me?" Batman asked angrily. "Not at all, but you were getting confrontational for no reason and while I'm normally pretty laid back I will not be threatened in my own home. The only reason I haven't sent for security is you are Cassandra's guardian." " OK OK thats enough" Superman said coming in between them.

POV Mike

(I really did not want to reveal that card but I need him on his back foot. like hell, will someone threaten me in my own house.) "Fine, but next time either of you start to threaten then these talks are done." Mike told Superman. "I might have emmense respect for you but I will not be threatened." Superman then asked me about how I built all of this, I pushed the blame off on Tony and Reed stating that they helped me get Morganrote off the ground in exchange for some tech. Best part was it was not even a lie, I just omitted how little help I actually got from them.

Mike could see that the two were not going away any time soon. They stood for an hour talking asking everything they could about his company. Every time they got a bit too close to his secrets he just pushed off the blame onto Tony Stark and Reed Richards. I didn't think they would mind. Eventually we reached an impasse they wanted access to the underground and I told them that was not happening. They gave up after that a little too easily. I figured Superman just didn't want to push it too far and Batman would probably try something else. maybe go to Stark or Richards, or have Cassandra try to get closer. I didn't mind Batman and his paranoia in a world like this it was justified but like hell if I'd let him have a look at the facilities below. Those would be kept secret until I found people I could trust unconditionally.

The next day Mike contacted Jennifer Walters and asked her for a consult. He also conducted research, while he would love to have she hulk as a lawyer she made it clear she was an independent consultant. Mike sent emails to Vanessa Rios in Gotham and Katherine Spencer. Mike's company would need a lawyer on staff not just a consultation. He also began to look into scientists he could bring in to further develop Morganrote.
