SAY YOUR FINAL PRAYERS

What do you want from her?" Aera glared at the old man in front of her fiercely with arms crossed.

Taking one look at him, one would think he was just a normal person, dressed in simple clothes with a wrinkled face and a few strands of white hair covered his hair.

He looked ordinary and innocent in every way, but she couldn't assume that after what she just witnessed.

"Don't keep me waiting old man, my patience is wearing thin" she said through clenched teeth and her silver eyes shone with fierceness.

The man shuddered a little by her cold demeanor but still didn't say anything. He couldn't believe that a girl old enough to be his granddaughter could make a chill run down his spine. He didn't know who she was but he could feel the air of authority around her.

The light in the gift shop flickered a little and the man finally raised his head. He felt frustration ripple through him as he nipped the space between his brows. This young girl not only ruined his plans but now she's demanding for answers too.

He didn't answer her directly but immediately gave her his warning.

"Young lady, stay out of this" he muttered.

Aera scoffed, "And why should I?" she asked as she threw a mocking gaze at him.

'Do these people think I'm a coward? ' she asked herself and continued staring fiercely at the old man.

The old man looked at her again and shook his head, "Well, since you already ruined our first plan, I just hope your friend will come out alive."

Come out alive? she wasn't stressed about the fact, she has already told Kiaraa to run and as long as she got out of this place and went home immediately she would be safe. She just had to pray that she'll fly back to Austin soon, if not her life would be hanging on a thin thread.

But wait!!!

'Did he just say first plan?' she widened her eyes as realization dawned on her. So the plan was not to attack her here but to get her out.

They wanted Kiaraa at all cost and they didn't want to draw attention to themselves that's why they chose a very calm approach and that was to hypnotize her.....

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

The rain poured heavier with bright lightning shining like a silver snake in the dark sky which was heavily covered with dark gloomy clouds and the loud sound of the thunder was deafening.

The wind snarled harshly and the dull thunder roared like a cannon.

Kiaraa clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth. Her fiery amber eyes were red and a dark glint glimmered through them.

'Kill them all'

That was the only thing she heard in her head and she acted upon it as her life pivoted on it. Her hands had blood dripping from them and her face was stained with blood but not a single scar marred her beautiful face.

She darted her eyes towards the floor and looked at a total of eight men lying there with brutal injuries.

Unconscious?

No, they were dead.

They had planned carefully this time around, flattened the tire of her car so she couldn't escape. They believed she was some sort of weak princess as she portrayed herself to be.

But hell no, behind those fiery amber eyes and goddess-like face, there was a killing intent buried deep inside.

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and stepped backward with fists still clenched. She didn't have the time to delight in victory when she felt a hard metal pressed against her head.

"This is your second death experience in just a span of a few hours, why don't you accept your fate Kiaraa, you were meant to die the moment your stupid father inaugurated you as his daughter" the voice coldly said.

A bitter laugh left her mouth. She looked calm on the outside as if nothing fazed her but deep down she was facing a turmoil.

"Why me?" she whispered softly but the man standing behind her with a gun pointed at her head heard her.

"Why you?" he scoffed, "You being a Lee has always been a problem. Say your last prayer Kiaraa."

Kiaraa grieved inwardly, she honestly tried her best but she couldn't escape this time. For the first time, she wished she had a prince charming who would save her whenever she landed in trouble like those in the movies but the harsh reality of life hit her head.

She felt hot tears spill from her eyes into her wet lashes but the rain washed them away immediately. She could not succumb to his wishes but she had no hope left. She felt the gun press tightly on her head and she winced in pain.

'I didn't mean to leave yet. I'm so sorry mother, father, sister Lili, brother Min, and my cute Kiyomi. I'm so sorry... I tried my best, I honestly did but they still succeeded. I promise I'll watch over you from above, so long family, do not miss me too much' she said in her head and a pang of pain whipped through her heart as she cried bitterly.

She took one last deep breath and then...

Bang!!!

The sound of gunshot roared through the storm and she closed her eyes tightly...
