1 Prologue: A Friend

Soft breeze in the air with the sweet scent of flowers. A person under a tree reads a book with a gloomy expression.

"Running away...yeah that's what I've been good at. In a quiet way did she speak her words to herself. "I run away from the tiniest of mistakes, afraid of the stares when it happens.

The person paused before finishing her sentence.

"...Especially that person..".

Kian Watson was a cool headed person, she was quite talk for her age and has a handsomely appearance and with short jet black hair and hazel eyes. Even though she doesn't like people staring at her, she is quite popular at her school.

Kian continued to read a book after remembering what happened before she came to the Academy. A life where everything started to fall apart.

Suddenly.

*rustle rustle rustle*

There was a rustle in the bushes and Kian looked where the sound was coming from.

"Wha...?!" Kian was shocked to see who it was as she let go of the book to try and catch the girl.

"I..FOUND...YOUU!!". Says the girl who came out of the bush. And fell on top of Kian.

"..huff...huff...huff.." trying to catch her was a girl the same age as Kian. She took was quite a beauty.

"Have some water". Kian offers her a bottle of water.

"Haaa...Thanks." The girl accepted and drank it all.

After the girl finished drinking the water, Kian spoke.

"I'm sorry, it seems that you ran here trying to find me. But..."

She stopped for a second and continued. "But how are you here when your supposed to be at your grandparents house?".

The girl gave out a worry look at Kian and answered.

"Uhmm...Well, I asked them that I wanted to go back here and they said yes." She let out a tiny laugh after she said those words. Clearly her grandparents love her and they get along well.

"Haa.." Kian leaved a sigh before smiling faintly with a slight look of annoyance at her friend.

"Anyways, welcome back Shane." She said with a cold yet soft tone.

The girl was Kian's childhood friend, Shane Collins. Shane was a kind girl, has about the same height as Kian, her features are quite heavenly. She has long blonde hair and blue eyes almost that of the deep blue sea.

She gave Kian a smile and said

"Hehehe, I'm back". She was like a ray of sunshine smiling at her friend who seems used to get this reaction from her.

[ Yeah...Let's just forget about that person and just enjoy this time before going back to the Academy ] she thought to herself as she was sitting and listening to her friends stories.

Little does she know what fate awaits her.
