An old enemy from the past
"I have grown a lot this month," Yu Mai was not convinced by the words of his brother-in-law and pouted with his cheeks bulging.
"How did this grow this month?" Shen Li looked at the tiny chubby mer. "I don't see you getting any taller." The size of the little one was still the same, if not for Yu Dong telling him that her daddy was a tall mer whose height was decent neither too small nor big, he would have started to worry about this little one.
"I have grown!"
Yu Mai pouted as he pointed to his waist and then motioned with his hands. "I was this big last month but now I am this big. I have grown sideways!"
Fat. He had grown fat.
Ye Liu and Shen Li were simply amused by the words of their brother-in-law. He was the first mer to proudly exclaim that he had grown fat, if there was someone else, they would have cried for three days and two nights.
