CHAPTER 5

SAYING YES TO HARMLESS ENDEAVOUR CAN TURN TO A PROBLEM OF MASSIVE PROPORTION IN MERE SECONDS!!

"The beauty is going to sit with me," a male alien said in a firm voice interrupting me from taking a bite of the strange looking fruit that looked like a hybrid fruit after mixing a kiwi and a strawberry together. It smelled like a smoothie of the two mixed together. I looked up irritated and found a male alien with black colored hair glaring at the alien with grey hair, who was sitting beside me and Plaaya.

"The beauty has agreed to let me be her escort, how dare you intercede?" the grey haired alien spoke up and stood from his seat to stand nose to nose with the newcomer.

"Ummm.....guys I think you two should not fight about this. We all are friends here, can't we just sit wherever we want?" I intervened after a last longing look towards my plate full of exotic alien fruit and I too stood up. They were growling at each other and their faces had started changing shape, I was scared of them.

"Princess I think we should leave quietly before these two start fighting," Plaaya said in a soft voice in my ear.

"But I am hungry...." I whined as my stomach emitted a loud voice joining the chorus of the growls that the two were making and glared at the two idiots, who were making it harder for me to eat my food peacefully.

"Hey you two morons, don't growl at each other and get lost before I lose my cool," I threatened as my hunger was uncontrollable by now.

The two kept growling at each other ignoring my threats. The other male aliens started egging them on to fight.

Their growling changed to snarling and they attacked each other. Both of them jumped at each other changing into their werewolf form midair and the pieces of their shredded clothes floated in the room.

The others moved back, making room for them but I was unable to move from my spot. I was seething with anger by now. I too gave a battle cry and picked up a chair. I threw the chair at them forcefully.

The chair shattered into several little pieces as soon as it came in contact with their bodies as if crushed under a heavy truck. The chair hadn't done any harm to their bodies but they were stunned by the impact and looked at me in surprise.

"I was trying so hard to adjust to my circumstances and remain peacefully and inconspicuously during my stay here but you two morons are ruining my chances of returning back to my own planet. I won't have it; I am fed up by your idiocy. You two will not fight anymore or so help me gods, I will make you so sorry for your actions that you will remember it for your whole lives...." I shouted at the top of my lungs.

Every alien looked at me stunned without uttering another word. The two aliens that were now transformed into werewolves, started walking towards me hesitantly.

"Stop right there, you two are banished from approaching me again," I spat at them as they looked at me, stopping in their tracks.

"Is she really that dominant? These two are the youngest of the group and never obey anyone other than the General but it seems that the beauty can control them as well," an alien from the group surrounding Plaaya asked her in a small voice.

"She is a shape shifter too and the name of her animal is Banshee, which according to her is one of the fiercest animals in her planet. She is the princess of Dreamland and the General's wolf has shadow marked her too. I think it would be safe to say that she is currently the second fiercest person on the ship," Plaaya answered in a loud enough voice to be heard by all the aliens present inside the dining room.

I tried to remain stoic and serious but hearing the description of myself from Plaaya's mouth made it hard to maintain my poise.

Princess of Dreamland indeed, but I do resemble a Banshee right now, I thought to myself.

"I think you all should leave the princess alone for the time being, she must not become furious or else her animal will make an appearance and she told us earlier that it is very hard to control," Plaaya announced in a loud voice.

Several male voices groaned on having their fun being snatched from them but the dining area cleared in no time.

"What is happening here?" Zywan said from the door of the dining hall.

I groaned loudly in frustration. These aliens would surely starve me to death before I return back home.

I glared at him to show him that I was not happy about his arrival. He looked at me and Plaaya.

"General, Dozo and Fray were about to fight each other in their wolf form but Princess stopped their fight and we were about to eat some fruits," Plaaya answered.

I moved back towards my seat once again but found that it was covered in pieces of fabric from the clothes of the two aliens who had turned into werewolves earlier.

I snarled loudly and plopped down on the chair. A soft male chuckle made me look at the handsome alien General.

He was shaking his head in amusement.

"I will bring something for you to eat before your fierce Banshee makes an appearance," he said still smiling as he moved towards the cabinets.

He brought a bowl of brown colored lump. "It's the lightest meal of our planet and can be digested by almost everyone. Try and see if it's eatable," he said as he placed the bowl on the table before me.

I picked it up and sniffed it. It smelled like oatmeal, I scooped out a little amount in my spoon and tasted it. It tasted like sweet oatmeal with a lot of honey. I ate it all up and asked for another serving.

I ate three servings and sat back comfortably with a satisfied sigh.

"That was divine," I said and smiled at Zywan for the first time since he had kidnapped me.

"Is your pilot taking us to my home planet now?" I asked Zywan, yawning at the end.

"Actually the ship needs to be refueled in a space station first as the fuel is not enough to make a return trip after going to your planet," he answered looking at me carefully.

"Are you tired, do you want to rest?" he asked as I yawned a second time.

"Yes, can you please open a guest room for me?" I asked immediately.

"You can rest in my quarter as no other room is available except that," Zywan replied.

"Plaaya ask the two trouble makers who were the cause of the ruckus to clean the room, I am going to take Princess to my room," Zywan said as he held my arm to guide me to his room.

"OK General, see you later Princess," Plaaya said as she walked towards the two aliens who almost had a fight earlier.

"I am impressed by your Banshee bride, you handled the two soldiers very well on your own," Zywan said to me in a tone full of respect as we walked down the corridor, towards his room.

"Err...it was nothing, I am used to teaching youngsters like them in my own planet," I answered a little embarrassed by his praise as I was duping all the aliens on the ship by my elaborate lies.

"I am also beginning to fear your inner animal a little. If your animal is so dominant when it's dormant then it can really cause havoc when it makes an appearance," Zywan commented again.

"Yes...are we there yet?" I asked to change the subject. The talk about 'Banshee' was making my guilty conscience berate my liar side.

I looked at up his face and saw him hiding a smile. I looked down again, I was an evil person. I was duping all these aliens by telling them one lie after another. But now I had no other choice than going along with the lies that I had already spoken as I was about to return to Earth once again. This was what I had wanted since I had woken up in the strange room so why was I feeling so down.

He registered my palm print on the program of the door of the room to make it easier for me to leave and enter at my will.

"Just press your palm here like this," he showed me as he placed my open palm at the door's surface.

The door slid open immediately and we entered the room.

"Thanks," I said and waited patiently for him to exit.

He went and sat on the bed instead of walking out. I looked at him puzzled.

"I wanted to instruct you about how to behave in the space station that we will be docking on tomorrow." He spoke as an answer to my unasked query when he found me looking at him with a puzzled expression.

"Oh....is it some dangerous place?" I asked curiously.

"Yes, it is a place without any legit jurisdiction so criminals and outlaws run amok there. I just want you to act like my wife there for your safety as refilling the fuel and other supplies will take at least a week there," he explained.

"A whole week!" I exclaimed unhappily.

"Yeah, it takes more time but we are going to finish our work in just a week for your sake," he told me, smiling slightly.

"Thank you and I will do as you tell me until I return back home," I promised. I may be acting like a Banshee recently but I am just a weak, plump woman in reality. I have to remain alive to return back home, I thought to myself as I looked at him gratefully.

I had really made a mistake by thinking that the aliens were anything but kind, I thought again. I heard a soft male chuckle in my mind that sounded like Zywan's laugh but ignored it as my overactive imagination.
