Ch-2 <Making Friends>
Lauran was deep in her thoughts and the professor called her, "Miss Lauran. Come here and write the reaction of Ammonia acting as a reducing agent.". She came to the board and writes it down. Everyone was so shocked and she says, "Is it correct? Looks like I have started to understand it. Dad helped me understand them and now they are on my tips.". She did her innocent simile and the teacher was convinced, for now. She kept her composer but during lunch break, she was sitting near the school pond. "Damn it, I messed up a lot. She was a dumb kid but not me and science is my speciality. Wait, I can become a researcher here! This is the best life. I don't get why other transmigrated leads were so focused on surviving. Just go with the flow and live it at your fullest." , thought Lauran.
After break, during library class, Lady Haikai, started to pick up on her. "Oh! Isn't it the rebel. Did you got smart by falling down the stairs?" . She continue to annoy her and when Lauran was about to leave, she tripped her. Lauran stood up and went to the other table. Haikai then started to disrespect her parents and she got angry. Lauran came to Haikai and slapped her so hard that her check became red and the librarian came to them. He called the nurse and scolded the girls. "That's what you get for disrespecting a royal. Only if my kingdom wasn't taken over, you would have gotten pelletized. Rejoin the etiquette classes. You disrespected my Mother, the FOMMER EMPRESS OF OSTISA!!!!" , said Lauran. It seemed like she was going to beat her to pulp if she was released .The librarian was holding her and gave her book on legend of Anthius to calm her down .
The director handled the situation and gave her some sweats to calm Lauran. After talking to her and Haikai, he told the count about what actually happened and showed the footage. The Count apologised to Lauran and she replied, "Count, you shouldn't apologise. She did the mistake make her responsible for that. I am equally responsible as I hit her. I am sorry". All adults were impressed by her etiquette.
In the car, she high- fied her parents as she did a good job. The next day, Haikai sat with Lauran and they became friends. It turned out that she was picked upon by other nobles and Lauran would always come to her rescue.
"Why are you so kind to me? I used to bully you" ,said Haikai. "Everyone starts somewhere and I don't mind it. You were under pressure. It's the adults to be blamed for doing such things to kids. " , said Lauran.
Then it was the swordsmanship class and everyone can take it. Lauran was in the training suit and noticed that she was the only girl. The teachers were an old man and a middle age man. The old man introduced her and told her to practice sword slices and she followed him. She stopped and looked at the boys practicing . "You gotta be kidding me. I kinda feel like Kuina from 'One Piece'. Sigh, It is boring." , thought Lauran.
"Hey, kid. Annoyed at the old man? He wants you to not get hurt.", said the other man, giving her a towel as it was a sunny day. "I have used real sword and mom's training is even harder." , said Lauran. "I know. She is real strong . You can duel with me. Perhaps you know aura manipulation." , said the man. She looked at him and noticed that he was one of the knights from Ostasia.
She agreed and they duelled with wooden swords. Everyone looked at them and applauded Lauran, when her sword broke as she withstood powerful blows. Every boy wanted to duel with her and when they lost they bowed and went back to practise their blows or sat under the tree, thinking the ways to improve in order to defeat her.
During the duel with her cousin, she fell on her knees as she got exhausted and crossed the limit of her aura. She was taken to the nurse and Kaya was in panic state, though it did not seem like it. The nurse told that is fine and just needs some rest. Kaya ran in and sat beside her. He used a spell that allows one to transfer their aura to other and Gary walked in. "Kaya, calm down. Don't exhaust yourself. Let me do this. Also don't do it again until you are 18." , said Gary patting him and Kaya busted into tears.
He hugged his uncle and watched as he stabilized her aura. "You are a really good elder brother. Clam down now. She is fine.", said Gary, patting his head again. "I guess I can say like uncle like nephew. Yo! Aniki! Kay, come here my boy. You did a good job." , said Haru, entering the room and knelling. Kaya ran to his father and while crying he was explaining what happened. Haru smacks his head and said , "It's a common phenomenon. Crossing your limit make your body to go on power saving mode. She is fine.".
Kaya said, "I hate you!" and ran to his uncle. Gary sticked his tongue out and said, "I'm his favourite.". Haru stood up and said, "Fine then, I am going to nee-san." . Gary got a chill and knew that Allura will kick him out again .
