Guardians Light

First attempt at actual writing go easy on me, suggestions and advice welcome! Our main protagonists Sam is shot and killed at his local gas station before waking up in a strange land and strange people, will he survive? Or will he start to truly live his life? Please let me know what I can improve and fix and point out any mistakes made!
