4 Shadow over the Water

At the military headquarters, as the upright walking giant turtle approached the water, a tense conversation took place between the military commanders. They followed this unusual phenomenon on monitors and discussed further steps.

"This is something extraordinary," said the general, carefully watching the turtle. "He shows no signs of aggression and heads for the water. Are we sure we're not dealing with some new life form?"

"We have done all the possible research," replied the scientific consultant. "Analyses show that this creature may be something like an ancient giant tortoise, but with some unknown mutations. So far, we don't have enough information about its motives and possible dangers."

The general began to think about a further strategy. "At this time, we do not have sufficient grounds to shoot at this creature," he said. "he does not show aggression, and our priority is to avoid unnecessary escalation. But we cannot let him disappear into the ocean without a trace."

"Exactly," agreed another officer. "If he disappears into the water, he could emerge anywhere else and wreak more havoc. We must continue to watch, but from a distance so as not to provoke him into action."

The general turned to the intelligence unit. "Get new coordinates and work from the air, keeping a distance. We must be aware of him movements and behavior. And most importantly - do not lose sight of him!"

Command HQ agreed that maintaining control of the creature was a priority. They understood that he could have significant potential for danger, and therefore further monitoring was necessary. Through observation and data collection, they hoped to discover its motives, nature, and potential consequences for humanity.

The generals were seriously concerned about the possibility that the turtle would sink to a great depth and they would lose control of it. This could be extremely problematic since they had no underwater GPS sensors and the turtle was already halfway out into the ocean.

With the need to ensure surveillance, the generals decided to use already available means and attach a regular GPS sensor directly to the turtle. They understood that this was not an ideal option, but it was their only option to ensure further control.

The generals turned to intelligence units to organize an operation to attach a GPS sensor to the turtle. They hurried to use every available minute.

Meanwhile, the command staff was actively looking for the opportunity to get a deep-sea sensor for further monitoring of the turtle. They understood that this was a difficult task because such devices were rare and required special resources to find and acquire. They were not prepared to label ocean creatures, as it was not part of their duties. However, they could not let the creature simply disappear into the ocean without a trace, so they continued to search and explore the market for deep-sea sensors.

POV: Gamera

Approaching the water, Gamera's path was full of obstacles. He had to cross several small roads, break streetlights and break many wires. His steps were slow as he tried to be careful to avoid taking too much damage.

Since his resemblance to Gamera was obvious, he decided to call himself the same. It was a new life in a new body, so he chose a new name. But his previous name was not so cool to hear. It wasn't bad, but calling a huge and powerful being that was a bit ridiculous. Of course, he could not tell anyone his previous or new name. It is unlikely that he will learn to talk.

When he was already not far from the shore, one of the helicopters approached him, and he felt something prick him in a soft place under his armor. "Even in this world, mosquitoes are annoying," he tried to joke, although the situation was not entirely funny.

Continuing his journey, Gamera went ashore. His heavy feet sank into the soft sand. He didn't know if it was a sea or an ocean, but he liked the sight of the calm water. Slowly sinking into the cool water, he moved away from the shore, feeling calm and relieved. Here he was not afraid of harming someone or being captured by the military.

"Wait!" - he thought. "What if the military didn't shoot me just because I was around people? But if I dive into uninhabited waters, they might drop an atomic bomb on me like they did to Godzilla! I need to stay away from shore and remain at a sufficient depth from the surface." With these thoughts in mind, he increased his efforts and began to dive.
