117 Breaking the Wall
POV: Witches
The wall that protected the city was quite long. It was 10 km longer than the city that the wall protected. That length was enough to allow people to react in time if the Kaiju decided to bypass it.
At the edge of the city, four women in black clothes could be seen on the wall. These women covered their bald heads with hoods. They had blue eyes and pale skin with some signs of being infected with blue blood.
These women watched as the battleship flying in the sky shot at their dear Kaiju. This scene made them very angry. They hated seeing the Kaiju suffer. They had a telepathic connection with them and could feel the Kaiju's pain.
"How dare they do this! Sisters, concentrate! We can stop this battleship!" One of these women shouted in anger. The battleship was very high. Even such a large ship seemed like dust in the sky.
"He's too far away, we can't do anything about him." Others answered her.
"Don't underestimate the power our masters gave us. Together we can conquer this world!"
"Okay sister, let's try this."
The witches raised their hands to the sky in the direction of the battleship and began to concentrate. The veins on their faces bulged as they tried to influence the people inside the battleship. The eyes of these women began to glow as more blue blood began to flow to the brain. Capillaries in the eyes resembled flashes of lightning from toxin saturation.
AAAAAAAAA
The women screamed as contaminated blood began to flow from their noses. They were going beyond their capabilities, but it produced good results. The battleship moved several degrees and continued to move.
Being very high in the sky, even a few degrees of displacement caused all the projectiles to start flying into the water next to the Kaiju. The witches were able to influence the pilot of the battleship, and he unconsciously turned the ship.
BOOM
Not only the pilot of the battleship was affected telepathically. All the sailors on the ship felt it. The problem is that when people work with explosives, you have to be very careful. Under the influence of witches, people began to make mistakes, and one of the battleship's guns exploded.
"Don't stop! Until the Kaiju destroy the wall!" One of the women shouted. They continued to use their telepathy on the battleship.
At this time, the Kaiju finally stopped emitting sonic shock waves for protection. The battleship's shots fell far from him, and he could concentrate on his task.
The armored plates on his face began to diverge. As they parted, a gap formed between them, from which a bright blue light emanated.
CKRECK
Insectokaiju's armor crackled until it fully opened, like a flower with bright blue nectar inside. The light grew brighter and brighter until it shot towards the wall, forming a straight laser beam that hit the wall.
PPRRRR
The beam hit the wall, but it did not cause any damage. It was as if someone just shone a very powerful spotlight on the wall. But something strange began to happen, the energy from the laser seemed to begin to concentrate on the surface of the wall, and after a few seconds a loud explosion sounded.
BOOOOM
The wall exploded. The force of the explosion was so destructive that the wall literally fell into pieces. Along with the shock wave, fragments of the wall flew into the city, destroying houses and cars. Huge chunks of concrete and iron fell on the city like meteorites, turning houses into a powder of debris.
AAAAAA
The witches who were concentrated on the battleship felt the jolt and fell to the ground. The whole wall began to shake, as if it were some kind of fence. A wave of vibrations traveled from the explosion all the way to both ends of the wall, and when it reached the witches, they fell to the ground and hit hard.
"Perfectly! Beautiful!" The woman in command of the others rose to her feet and cheered as she saw the huge hole in the wall that the Kaiju had made with his shot. The woman was bleeding from her nose and head as a result of hitting herself when she fell.
"This city will soon fall, and with it the whole world!" Other women also did not hide their joy.
BBRRRRR
A drone was flying behind the wall not far from the witches. The women didn't notice him right away because he was flying up near the wall. The drone rose tens of meters above the wall and spun as if it was looking for something. The next moment he turned in the direction of the witches and froze motionless.
"We've been noticed!" One of the women immediately panicked. If they were noticed, it meant that the Jaeger would come running here soon.
"Stay where you are! We need to continue distracting the battleship!" When they stopped using their telekinesis on the battleship, he started firing at the Kaiju again. This time the Kaiju didn't use shockwaves, but simply covered his head with his hands and walked towards the hole in the wall.
"But they will kill us!" Only a moment after being spotted by the drone, they began to feel the shaking of the ground intensifying.
"This is our destination! We need a few more minutes! Even if we die, we will complete the task to the end!"
"What? I wanted power and to rule this world, not to die here! I have not yet enjoyed the gifts that have been given to me!" One of the women refused to listen to the self-sacrifice. She was promised power, and when she got it, she relished it. She went through the cities and did what she wanted, she took what she wanted and killed whomever she wanted, and no one could stop her. But now she's being told she should stop enjoying it? Never!
"How dare you….!" Just as the female lead pulled out a knife and was about to kill the traitor, they heard a loud scream coming from the Jaeger's speakers.
"Die!" Jaeger yelled as he jumped to the top of the wall and slammed his fist down where the witches were.
BOOM
Jaeger's fist smashed the top of the wall and debris flew around. There is nothing left of the witches.
POV: Marshal
"I found them!" One of the analysts shouted at the top of his voice. He stood up from his work station so that everyone in the command post could see him.
"Great job, give the coordinates to the sisters!" Marshal immediately gave the order. The mood in the room immediately lifted when they found the needle in the haystack.
After receiving the coordinates, Obsidian Fury immediately ran there. He ran at full speed, destroying roads and trees. The twin sisters were short on time and were squeezing everything out of their Jaeger. You could say that they did not run, but flew. The Jaeger's speed was so great that the light, small houses on the outskirts of the city were destroyed by the wind. The shock wave blew off the roofs of buildings and the earthquakes tossed cars into the air.
Jaeger had jet engines burning on his back, elbows, and even his heels that accelerated him. Still a kilometer away from the wall, Obsidian Fury jumped and literally flew to the top of the wall, preparing his hand to strike.
BOOOM
Marshal watched as Obsidian Fury smashed through the top of the wall. When it was over, they heard the voice of the twin sisters.
"Did we get them? Did they run away?"
"Quickly check the surveillance footage!" It all happened too fast for the human brain to process, it had to be checked.
"Yes! There were 4 of them! They were all in that place at the time of the impact."
"Did you hear that? Good job! Now shoot that Kaiju." The marshal smiled as he gave this order. The sniper rifle that Obsidian Fury carried on his back was very effective against the Kaiju. Torterra with his armor could ignore it, but one good shot was enough for the Kaiju.
"Sir! Something strange is happening. The ocean is boiling." Obsidian Fury surveyed the place where the witches were. The Jaeger was lower than the wall, so the sisters climbed on top and sat on the wall. Sitting there, they could clearly see the ocean.
"Say again, I don't understand." Marshal asked.
"The ocean is boiling!" After hearing the twins' words, Mr. Choi displayed the image on the holographic monitor. And as the twins said, the ocean was indeed boiling, but only near the shore. The next moment White Thorns started running out of the ocean. There were thousands of them.
SSSKKRREEEEEEEE
As the Kaiju entered the hole in the wall, he screamed, creating a shock wave. Tens of thousands of White Thorns rushed out of the ocean and began to run into the city through the hole in the wall that the Kaiju had made. They ran like one solid mass of bugs, dodging Insectokaiju's legs.
"Quick, shoot that Kaiju!" Marshal shouted. The joy he had felt from winning just a moment ago was gone. Now he was worried if he could save the city.
