14 Chapter 14

When that resounding growl echoed throughout the whole tribe's place , the birds were immediately frightened and flew away . The wolves that were advancing suddenly paused and viscously barked at the giant red fox .

Lienor stared with amazement . Such a magical scene , it really looks different compared to watching movies . It looks more realistic than edits .

Lienor immediately stood up and suddenly found himself having difficulties in balancing .

" Uggh "

Lienor knelt down again , he felt like the world was spinning . Lienor shook his head forcefully and looked at the scene with narrowed eyes .

Gradually , he felt that he's used to the slow motion he's seeing .

Liena at the side stared oddly at his brother. Lienor's irises moved so fast from left to right , up and down .

When Liena was about to wave her hands in front of Lienor , Lienor's iris immediately noticed her movements . Liena flinched and retracted her hands . " Brother ... You look so odd today . " Uttered Liena .

But in Lienor's ears , he could only hear . " Broooowttttheeer ... Yooouuu loook so odddd teeedey . " .

Lienor immediately covered his ears , he felt like Liena's voice sounded like some voice changer in modern earth where one's voice changed into something like some demons' overlapping deep voices .

Liena spoke words in a very slow manner that he felt irritated somehow .

While Lienor was getting confused about his own awakened ability . On the other side , Liam now showcased his fox form and started battling with countless wolves .

Liam's tail turned sharp and hit the pack as he swept his tail towards them horizontally .

The sound of the wolves whimpering from the hit resonated while the other remaining wolves turned berserk and moved to avenge their comrades .

The alpha wolf growled and bit the giant fox's hind leg . While the chief and alpha were fighting , the other wolves now started attacking the tribesmen at the back .

The trading team leader shouted to attack and transformed into his own fox form . The trading team leader has a slightly reddish fur with orange hue mixed on it . He was a tad smaller than the chief but he has a faster speed than the chief ..

The fox immediately jumped and pounced unto the back of a wolf . The whole battlefield turned chaotic as the tribesmen at the back started attacking the wolves with their spear .

They hit their eyes if not their belly . Several wolves were so enraged and killed dozens of fox tribesmen in the blink of an eye. 

Suddenly , a defeaning shout resonated . Lienor immediately looked at the side and saw Liena that was about to be beaten by the wolf.  Lienor saw this scene in slow motion and got enraged , quickly running towards the wolf and stabbed his spear on the wolves' heart , he also stabbed it's belly and head quickly ending the Wolves' life not noticing how advantageous his peculiar speed was. 

Liena on the other hand only saw a flash and a bright red hair appeared in front of her moving in a quick speed to attack the wolf . A few seconds later , the wolf suddenly lost his life and collapsed into the snow coated ground . The snow gradually turned red from the blood pool that was getting bigger because of the the wolf's bleeding body . Liena touched her small chest in horror , her blood turned cold from the fright he has just experienced .

At that time she could already feel the sharp claws of the wolf that was about to graze upon her skin .

" B-brother "

Lienor however got dizzy again and felt the world spinning , his situation felt like the symptom a human would feel once they were highly dehydrated and stressed .

But seeing as the world was still in a slow motion , Lienor quickly took this opportunity to kill some wolves before it disappeared.

Although the Wolves moved faster than the tribesmen in his eyes , at least he's faster than them .

A few seconds later , the tribesmen suddenly noticed the Wolves started collapsing one after another . The ones who were one step to the grim ripper's scythe also found themselves at the back of the battle were everyone is still safe .  They felt like they suddenly teleported when they were about to be beheaded by the wolves. 

Liena however knew that her Brother was the one who was doing this . Liena couldn't help shedding tears.of joy . Her brother , her brother has finally awakened his blood ability.

The Alpha wolf immediately noticed the peculiarity of the battle , their numbers were rapidly falling down .

Liam who was fighting the Alpha immediately took this opportunity to sweep his claws on the alpha's face .

The trading wold leader on the other hand was being chased by the deputy leader of the wolf tribe , while running he also took the liberty to attack some busy wolves he passed by , the wolf chasing on him was so enraged and quickened his pace .

" Fcc you! Stop chasing me you moron! "

" Then stop running away coward!!! ",

The Wolves' number were quickly draining but they were not sure enough if more wolf shapeshifters would come to reinforce them .

Another horn resonated throughout the whole battlefield . Lienor's bloodshot eyes darted towards the north and saw a group of white haired men equipped with leather armor and arrows and bows .

Lienor had been feeling a severe headache ever since he saw the world in a slow motion . He thought that it maybe his blood ability,  he of course was glad about it but he didn't have any time to celebrate when this kind of side effect poured a basin of cold ice over his head .

Lienor groaned and quickly run towards the upcoming small troop and killed off dozens of wolf men in the blink of an eye .

The wolf people only saw a gush of wind passing through them and a red string of blood appeared on the surface of their necks before collapsing .

Fire and arrows flew in the sky and hit the fox tribesmen at the back . Lienor was so enraged seeing his fellow tribesmen dying one after another after he exerted his power to move them at the back for protection .

The archers!!! He have to kill the archers first!

Kryst who is currently reading a book suddenly looked at the towering tree behind him . " Yggdrasil ... You can perceive the world outside right? "

Yggdrasil hummed in agreement . Kryst then put down his book and frowned . " Then , can i perceive the world outside too? "

" Yes "

Hearing Yggdrasil's response , a frown surfaced upon the little elf's face . " Why do i feel the vitality outside is turning dark? "

" Dark? "

Kryst nodded . " The vitality not too far from the forest is quickly draining , as if there's a big bloodshed going on outside . "

" Don't think of going outside right now little elf , you're still weak as chicken . "

Kryst calmly nodded and went back to reading his book . " It's not that i can do anything to stop the bloodshed outside ... My own blood will probably pour out instead became of meddling.  "

" I exist ... To live and guard the elf race ... Not to become a holy saint . "

Kryst flipped the page and suddenly felt an impulse and curiosity to go out . He wanted to see what really happened . .
