19 Chapter 19. Powerful Bug.

"K, we're not going to hunt the Bug? Why go to the jewelry store?" Noah stood by the car, still questioning Zed's orders.

"We've been looking for the Bug, but there's a sea of people here, in one of the biggest cities in the world. Do you know how many people there are in Manhattan alone?"

He further explained, "Rosenberg's jewelry store is owned by the Arquilian. Do you understand why we're there?"

Noah raised his eyebrows, "You mean the Bug didn't get what they wanted, and they will definitely go to Rosenberg's Jewelry Store? I think we should bring weapons."

K thought for a moment and opened the trunk, which was empty. But after he pressed a button, a board in the trunk turned over and some alien guns appeared in front of Noah.

"Pick a gun. Remember to keep it close to your body. Don't shoot it until you absolutely need to."

Noah chose a gun similar in size to the M9, which felt appropriate.

"Series 2 De-Atomizer. Powerful, but the recoil isn't small. You should be prepared for it. This is for the safety. Never point it at people."

Noah placed the gun in his armpit holster, and now he was much more prepared, "I think we're ready to go."

'Edgar' stumbled inside the jewelry store as he smashed the door of the jewelry store with one punch. He really wanted to take off the skin, it was just too damn uncomfortable.

'Such a sturdy Arquilian alloy box was used to hold Earth's rubbish stones, so the real super energy source must be here!'

Boom! Boom!

'Edgar' smashed the counter full of jewelry with one punch. He rummaged through them, but he didn't see the 'Galaxy'.

'That Arquilian, where did he hide the 'Galaxy'?!'

He had managed to find out that the Arquilian, who was holding the 'Galaxy', had been living on the Earth. He had ventured here and killed the other party, but now he couldn't find the 'galaxy'!

Without the galaxy, he would have to face Arquilians' anger, and the Bugs would be in trouble!

After searching for a long time, he still found nothing. But in a picture on the wall, he saw that the Arquilian was holding a cat from Earth, and the 'Galaxy' was hung around the cat's neck!

'Cat, I need to find the cat immediately!'

As he walked out the door and walked towards the van, he found that the van was chained to a tow truck and being pulled away. 'This hateful earthling!'

He quickly rushed out to the tow truck, "Ey! This is my van."

The driver of the tow gave a sideways glance, "Yeah, and make sure you tell them that down at the impound."

'Edgar' took out his double-barreled shotgun from the driver's seat. The tow truck driver smiled contemptuously and showed a revolver. 'Who doesn't have a gun? Are you really going to shoot me in broad daylight in a public street?'

'Edgar' was angry. He wanted to cut this reckless guy into four pieces and stuff him under the undercarriage. But just as he was about to attack, a car pulled over.

Noah suddenly felt energetic when he saw a bug exterminator van, especially when he saw a man with a crooked mouth standing next to the van. 'It's Edgar, no, it's the Bug in Edgar's skin!'

"K, this is the Bug." Noah opened the door and jumped out of the car, took out the Series 2 De-Atomizer, without warning, and took a shot!

Bang! Boom!

Noah took a step back. The recoil of the Series 2 De-Atomizer was greater than he expected. With the strength of his wrist, he almost fell back.

Unfortunately, despite his well-aimed shot, Edgar had already sensed the 'Galaxy'. So when he turned to look, he saw Noah pulling out his gun and immediately jumped to the side.

K looked at Noah with some surprise. 'He used a Series 2 De-Atomizer, and was basically not affected by the recoil?' His evaluation of Noah's strength was elevated to a higher level.

'Edgar' dodged Noah's shot, but a big hole was punched in the van behind him, and the spaceship hidden inside was also damaged.

But right now, he had no time for revenge. He has to find the 'Galaxy' first, grab a spaceship and leave.

'Edgar' pushed the tow truck driver out of the way, and Noah instinctively withdrew his gun to catch the flying tow truck driver. He watched as 'Edgar' jumped into the driver's seat, and drove the tow truck away while dragging the van behind it.

"K, take the car. I'll go after him."

K just got out of the car, took out the Series 4 De-Atomizer, which was as big as a shotgun from the trunk, and immediately got into the car. He saw Noah running as fast as the wind, and actually chasing after the tow truck on his two feet.

Noah sprinted for a short distance, jumped forward, and got into the exterminator van before the tow truck could pick up speed.

He had to get rid of this Bug as soon as possible, giving some sort of explanation to the Arquilians, before they try to blow up Earth. Besides that, when he looked at the Bug, he seemed to look like a treasure chest with legs to him. He wanted to break this guy's legs to get the treasure chest!

Noah was about to shoot at the tow truck in front of him when the truck suddenly made a sharp turn, which made him lose his balance. When he regained his balance back, he saw a black shadow rushing toward him.

He raised his gun, but something brushed past, and all that was left to his gun was the handle. It was as if it was cut in half by something sharp.

'Tsk, the info said that the Bug's stingers were sharp. I didn't think it would be that sharp!'

Bang!

Noah lifted his leg and kicked Edgar in the chest. He slammed the guy with the handle of the gun in his hand.

"Give me the energy source, I can feel it on you." 'Edgar' held out his hand at Noah. When he spoke, one eyeball almost fell off.

"Do you want the Galaxy? It's not yours. But if you are willing to exchange one thing for another, I will consider it."

"What?"

Noah was just stalling for time, waiting for K to catch up. And since Edgar was on the pest control van, the tow truck was sure to stop too. But this was all after ten seconds or so and it didn't seem to have reduced the speed of the car.

It seemed that he couldn't wait for K's support, so he had to rely on himself. Calling out the system, he added 4 points each to Strength, Speed, and Spirituality. As for the last 2 points, he added them to Combat, leaving all 10 free attribute points depleted.

"Tell me what you want!" Edgar was angry. The man trembled in front of him. 'Is he making fun of me?'

"Your life!"

The numbness disappeared. Noah straightened up and rushed over with his fist. 'The Bug may be powerful, but not enough.'

'Edgar' was furious, "I'll just kill you and snatch the energy source for myself!"
