After making a plan for the body training, he first started with simple techniques from boxing to muay Thai to get his body work properly.

He did this training for a total of six months and finally sneaked to the training place where official knights are trained.

Knight training starts at the early age of 7, so at the age of 15, they already become a qualified knight. The training was to carry heavy stone and travel along with the hill ups and down. then with some movement technique, and breathing technique which help the body to get an adequate amount of oxygen

Knight's are trained on Sword or Arrow

only the top among them can be the rider_fighting while riding a magical horse

Ryuji was not fond of the rider hence he focused only on hand-to-hand combat .Sword and arrow was not his thing.

His first goal for Knight training was to get at the entry-level of body strength to practice the Phoenix exercise.

After 1 year of hard work at the age of 7 and a half, he finally reached an entry-level body condition to train Haki.

Haki training in One piece was to wear an Outer over layer and can only be done when one has good physical strength.

In Fairytail Ryuji had to get baptized with elemental power

To make his body strong and not fear any elemental magic he had to train in the fire while getting burnt.

Similarly, he submerged into the lake to get oceanic cold and pressure.

Air cut his skin, and Earth weight nearly made him a paste

These all are the path for training Haki according to the memory

Because only a body with magical property can withstand all these elemental power

Finally, the Lightning power was the hardest as he can't directly get hit by it so he started with low-level mages.

he tried to pick u fight with low-level lightning mages and hence tried to train with them.

This process lasted for a month and finally, he succeeded.

During all this training, he had to get scolded by the owner of the shop and was not paid but Ryuji didn't mind these all

Ryuji after training from all 5 major elements now had a body strong enough to fight Mid-level knight and he was 9 yrs old.

After the training with lightning he now can move to the next level that is ;

To get training on mixed elemental condition

Like Hurricane, ice, Magma, storm,earthquake-tsunami.

these can all be found around the world but he had to leave for some time, thinking this he went to Shopkeeper

Ryuji"sir, I need a short leave "

Shopkeeper"why!you had not even completed your daily work and now you want to leave"

Ryuji obviously was happy with this news thinking this was a good chance to get away from here but didn't show it in his face"don't say that sir, "

The shopkeeper couldn't shake off the stick, when suddenly "crack" a breaking sound came out from the steel stick which finally broke with the hand force of Ryuji's.

The shopkeeper was afraid of this gene he spoke slowly "Ryuji !! calm down okay, here take this 20000 jewel and let me go

Ryuji raised his hand showing 5 fingers and spoke "50k jewel "

Shopkeeper "no! that much I don't have "

Ryuji"then I will take your shop "

Shopkeeper only had this shop as his income hence he said"30k"

Ryuji "40k"

shopkeeper"35 k and final "

Ryuji"37k"

Shopkeeper finally gave up and paid 37k jewel to Ryuji, with which Ryuji was happy hence he with money went out to train the final portion of phoenix exercise that is to train with mixed elemental power.

Only after this step can he truly learn Haki.

After traveling to the different location of fairy tail like; Akane beach, Hargeon town, Era and so on Ryuji finally completed the baptize process of phoenix hence got hold of Armament Haki (5 minutes) and observation haki (only when he focus)

Finally, after arriving in this world for about 4 years did Ryuji was able to use haki

Feeling this he was happy but the stamina problem of haki was great as always so he need a continuous fight and training,

Along with the training of Haki , his own magic now can cover his whole body making 2 cm thick cover for 1 hr continuously

With the training of 4 yrs, he can now fight a high-level knight but this haki was just an entry-level hence thinking this in his mind he moved toward Magnolia Town where the famous Guild Fairytail is located.
