1 Chapter 1

This is the story of Lia and Jack, two best friends who turn into lovers. Yes, quite the cliché, but there's something too powerful between them to just throw their story away in the hole of mediocrity. They were two lucky souls, as no amount of effort was needed to keep their friendship going. Usually, friends need to work a little to keep the spark on, but with Lia and Jack, it all ran smoothly and naturally, just like the need to inhale and exhale.

It did not matter if months would go by without them talking; once one would hear the other's voice, it felt like an ON button was pressed for their connection to feel as if it didn't got interrupted and like the last time they talked was a couple of hours ago.

They were really special, but the best thing about this was that they were not even aware of it. For them it was the normal way of things. Better yet, it was how things were supposed to be: be best friends and nothing more.

This might seem like a fairytale and like the best background for a genuine and authentic love to happen, but no matter how many pokes and winks life would give them, they could still not figure out that they were meant for each other.

They would get a taste of intimacy and even some amount of love from some individuals they would hook up with, but it would still not be enough to meet their true needs; until one day, when Lia decided to get married.
