Trip to Humanity 4

He turned his head sideways, trying to catch a glimpse of me. It was crazy how much effect I had on him, and it made me feel extremely good.

I leaned and kissed the rose on his back.

"Samantha.." He said lightly, and turned his neck to me.

I took my time kissing all the letters, then wrapped my arm around him, hugging him from behind.

I kinda wished there was a mirror and I had my phone with me. I would have clicked a picture of us like this.

I didn't let it distract me from the beauty of the moment, though. There was going to be many more moments like this, and I would take a picture of each and every one of it.

"Thank you, Sammy." He said when I released him.

"Shh..and cook. You've already impressed me."

I said and he laughed. "It was a good thing, then. I'm glad I got it."

He turned away, as I went back to my original seat, this time, not fighting the urge to look at him. He was beautiful, and my eyes couldn't help but feast on this infinite supply of beauty.

We fell into peaceful silence, and I watched him work his way through the processes of cooking. Very soon, the aroma had filled everywhere, starting with my nostrils.

"What is happening here? Am I dreaming?"

"Nick, get out." Morgan said without even looking at him.

Nick came in anyway. "Wow. I always wondered what these things were for."

He touched the cooker, and somehow he didnt feel the heat. I somehow always forgot I wasn't dealing with humans here.

"I am eating this."

Morgan turned and eyed him. "No freaking way, Nick. Go get someone to cook for you."

He dramatically placed his hand on his chest. "That was too harsh, Morgy."

Morgan turned to him, wide eyed. "Don't you dare, I swear."

I laughed amd stood, going between Morgan and Nick, my eyes wide and curious. "What did you just call him?"

NICK'S P.O.V.

She was standing in front of me, her eyes big and wide. Her lips stretched in a beautiful smile. She looked pure. Maybe too pure.

I blinked and lowered my head, then moved out of her front, and wrapped my hands around Morgan.

"Morgy." I said again. I knew it irritated him. It always did, ever since we were kids, and I knew it would be worse now.

He pushed me away, eyeing me. "Just go away."

Samantha held my hand, stopping me.

"Why do you call him that?" She said, laughter dancing in her big brown eyes.

I found my breath hitching violently, and I pushed my hand away, disguising it as a cough. With a wave of my hand that I wasn't sure Morgan believed, I ran out of the place, my hand on my chest.

What was this? Why did I find her so attractive? So beautiful? She belonged to my friend and King, and she wasn't suppsed ro be thought of that way, especially not by Morgan's friend. I walked away, leaving the palace. It would do me loads of good to stay away.
