Chapter 53

When you entered Weiss' room, to your surprise, you saw nobody in sight. But just as you closed the door behind you and peered around wondering where she was, you heard a toilet flush for the second time in a few minutes and the bathroom door within the bedroom opened up and Weiss stepped out.

The first thing you noticed, was that she wasn't dressed in her usual dress outfit. Nor was she in the sleeping attire she wore back in Beacon, which was usually some type of nightgown.

No, your beautiful white haired best friend was clad only in some form of work out uniform. A pair of small blue shorts hugged her rather full thighs nicely and the short cropped white top highlighted her perky round, and unexpectedly quite large bust, showing off her toned and slim stomach and well curved hips.

The second thing you noticed when she began stumbling towards her bed, were her hazy eyes and flushed, sweaty face. For a moment, you thought she bad been working out and that was why she was so flushed.

But, she didn't even notice you and made her way over to her bed and flopped down on it, a tortured groan leaving her throat.

"You alright Weiss?" you asked, walking over and jumping up on the bed.

Her lovely, hazy blue eyes fluttered open, "Coobalt?" she asked with a groan. She blinked again before reaching out and ruffling the fur on your head, "..Sick, need medicine."

Oh she had a fever, you had gotten them quite a bit when you were young when you worked yourself way too hard, but that stopped pretty much by time you were ten. "People actually take medicine for a fever?" you asked, surprised. "I just toughed it out, besides, you should be fine in a day or so."

"..Even as a human..you were a monster." Weiss retorted with a groan. "..Just please get me some medicine. Normal..people...don't shake fevers that easy."

You blinked at her before shrugging, "Sure Weiss, I'll go ask Ren if there's any." you replied. You didn't really get the big deal, fevers weren't that bad. It just made your head hurt, yout eyes tired, your stomach cramp and feel nauseous, your muscles fatigued and maybe a bit light headed. Just basic bitch stuff that you worked through with more training!

Hopping down from the bed, you left your friends room behind and made your way downstairs.

When you got back downstairs, you noted nothing had really changed from when you went out with Qrow. Both Ren and Ar-Jaune - Pyrrha asked if you could be a little friendlier to him didn't she? You supposed you could start using his first name then - were still sitting meditating together, training their aura and Xiao Long was still playing away at her scroll. Lucky bitch.

..Actually, you could watch movies now while in this house you supposed. Yay for some decent time wasters! Youth at its finest!

You walked over to them and nudged Ren with your paw, "Hey Ren." you said.

Ren slowly opened his eyes and eased out of his meditation. His pink eyes met yours and he smiled lightly, "Hello Cobalt," he greeted you calmly, "What can I help you with?"

"What do you give people for a fever? Weiss caught one." you aske.

Ren pushed himself up from his sitting position with a humm, "..Might be because of the intense physical training we've been going through under Professor Ozpin," he mused. The pink eyed teen walked over into the kitchen and you followed behind him. He reached into a cupboard and pulled out some form of small box. He handed it out to you, "These should do nicely, have her take two of these with a drink of water and then go to sleep, and then another two tonight at some point after she wakes up."

You gratefully took them with your tail, "Thanks Ren."

He nodded lightly, "Not a problem," he replied. Ren went to go back to what he was doing, but paused first and turned to you again, "Anything else I can help you with Cobalt?"

"No that's all tha-" you went to reply, but then remembered something Pyrrha told you about. "Actually, you're pretty good with using pure aura aren't you to fight with?" you asked.

Ren nodded, "Yes I am, I am proficient at expelling my aura ih physical barriers, waves of force and energy blades." he confirmed.

"Could you teach me?" you asked. You weren't really close to anyone before that knew how to do that, despite how much you'd wanted to learn how to do so when growing up or back at Beacon.

Ren shrugged, "I don't see why not," the pink eyed teen replied, "Tomorrow when training begins again, I can give you some pointers on how to go about it."

You thanked Ren gratefully and then you parted ways, he went back to working on his aura meditation and you went up to give the medication to Weiss and decided to stick around with her for the remainder of the day and night, keeping her company.

Course, you may have got her pull up a few movies for you to watch on her scroll while you were at it.

Ah, how you missed youthful technology! Moves! Games! Porn! The wonders that were lost to you without human hands.
