Chapter 2: Two Years

The first year was the hardest, I had to struggle between work and organizing with my new contractor who was building me a house on the land that I bought that was near some woods. The house was going to be secure enough that people couldn't just break in like at Nick's house, since I was now controlling this body I made myself closer to my two new partners.

After months of working together we were as close as brothers but that didn't mean I was going to change the fate of either of them, at the moment I was focusing on myself before the canon started. When the year was finally coming to an end that was when they finally finished the house the way I wanted it, but there was still some things I needed to add.

The house was a two story with four bedrooms three upstairs with the master downstairs, it was a rustic house that looked like it was just made completely from wood. Well it looked that way but it was actually wood on the outside then a layer of cement then another one of wood, when you walked inside it was like a hunter cabin on the inside.

Everything was modern though with the latest technology, luckily my other self learned everything he could about hacking and stuff of that nature so I was really secure. Inside the main bedroom was a California king bed that was entirely made of memory foam, it was colored in Maroon's and blacks.

The bathroom had a shower the size of my bed with a waterfall shower head, next to it was a giant tub that was at least three feet deep luckily I still had a lot of money left over. The rest of the house was fitted in my design plans with everything exactly how I wanted, the only place that wasn't made-up was the basement which I was fitting for myself.

Although it wasn't made up that was because I was planning to make escape routes for the rest of my house that is what I planned on doing with the rest of the space for emergencies. This was going to be the harder of the project since the woods stretched for miles and I needed to hide every part of it so that no one would find them.

A Week Later…

I was currently at a bar with Nick and Hank we were having a guys night out together, "So then he goes it couldn't be me I wasn't even in the house at the time. The guys hands were still bloody and he was hiding the knife in his shoe, like we wouldn't search him." Hank said telling about his rookie days.

"Right, I really don't understand criminals how can they think that we won't search them for weapons or look at their past couple of days." I said taking a drink of my whiskey, Nick nodded along.

"Well anyway the guy got life but still sends me creepy death threats, that is the weirdest guy I have ever met." Hank said while looking around the bar, me and him we always looking for potential women while Nick left around the time we both got one so he wasn't a fifth wheel.

As I was looking around my eyes stopped on a pretty blonde and it wasn't hard to realize who she was, it was Adalind Schade she was sitting with five other women laughing at the moment. Feeling my gaze she looked up and our eyes connect, it was like everything froze in that moment with us just staring at each other my smile though slowly grew looking at her.

In the next second her face Woged but instead of seeing a pale decayed face like I have seen on the rest of the Hexenbiest I've come across she still looked breath taking in my eyes. Though I Woged with my eyes doing their Reddish-Pink color making her mouth pop open a little she looked shocked seeing it, but it was probably also the power coming off of me.

I didn't notice but Hank and Nick were already gone Hank found someone else and Nick seeing me staring at Adalind assumed she was going to be my girl for the night and left. After a couple of seconds I looked down and saw she was drinking a bourbon neat which I nodded at, I had nothing against it but a girl who drunk hard drinks like that were a turn-on.

Though as a Hexenbiest/Zauberbiest we had a higher alcohol tolerance. Finally after finishing our staring contest we met up in the middle of the bar sitting at the bar, the bartender took our drink order serving us before walking off.

"So why are your eyes like that… I feel this pull to you like you are a Zauberbiest but it is hard to tell since you didn't Woge." She asked while looking me over with a raised brow.

"Well I am a Zauberbiest but technically speaking I am a Hybrid since my mother was a Hexenbiest but my father was… Well you can guess if you want?" A sly smile took over my face I didn't want to scare her off with what she would later find out.

"Mhmm well that isn't much help there are to many Wesen to determine what you are but it doesn't matter. Look I am not looking for anything at the moment cause I have something going on with this guy but if you want a night together I wouldn't mind."

"Wow glad you are straight forward, well that is fine with me. For some reason the moment I saw you Woge it was different instead of the old gray face it was still your beautiful one." I told her honestly since I wasn't ready for anything more serious yet, plus I didn't know how things would go for us at the moment and didn't want to change the future much.

"You felt that too huh? But that seeing my normal face even after a Woge there is no doubt that you are a strong one then that must be the reason for the attraction, something pulling us together." she had a sly smile on her face while saying that and leaned into me.

Without warning she took my lips and went at the hungrily, not that I was complaining since it was the best kiss I had had since I was reborn into this body. After five minutes we pulled away from each other both panting, "Want to get a hotel room nearby? More dirty that way plus it will keep the other from stalking? Not that I would mind a beauty doing that to me." Smirking I ran my fingers through her hair making her shudder.

"Hotel. Now!" she dragged me off of the stool and sent a message to her friends while dragging me out, I didn't know how long we would spend there but this was going to be my best performance.

The Next Day….

When I woke up Adalind was still next to me snuggled into my side, her warmth and feeling her was the best thing that I ever felt sighing it was going to be hard to leave her. Kissing her forehead I slowly got out without waking her and made my way to shower, after a quick one I wrote a note and left the hotel but I grabbed her some food too.

After dropping her off the food I left while she was still asleep, my phone was ringing by the time I made it to my car, Hank and Nick had a case so I made my way there it was just a B&E this time.

A Year Later….

It was the end of the year and by my calculations the canon should start soon, Nick wasn't showing signs and since I knew nothing before the canon then I didn't know for sure. Though since it was a two year time it should be time for everything to happen.

Since that night I haven't seen Adalind again it was a mutual understanding that we wouldn't meet again, but something inside of me was crying out for me to go and get her. That was how I knew that she was the one for me but for now since my life was getting busier then I decided to wait until the actual canon started, though I would change a lot of it.

My house was also done with an escape route everywhere along with my 'Grimm Room' as I called it begin set up, the only people who could get into it though was me since it required handprint and eye scan. It was behind a cage and 10inch steel door that was installed, the man who did the work was happy about it but at the same time he looked at me like I was crazy.

Oh something else happen, well more like I made it happen. I met Monroe and befriended him that way he was more than just an encyclopedia for us, because it was true that I didn't look through my books much so I could learn a little with Nick and the rest.

We met when I needed help with a watch that 'accidentally' got some glue in it somehow, it was also an antique that I bought online so he was impressed by it when he came over. We also joked about me killing him when I brought him out to the woods and he learned I was a Grimm, he settled down when he also learned I was a Zauberbiest.

With things coming closer to the Canon I got ready for the more Wesen that was going to start acting up because of the world, but unlike the show I would kill the ones that tried to kill me.
