Chapter 47: Limits. (Part 1)

Dawn's figure slowly emerged from the shadow in front of the Library. With a dejected sigh, he made his way inside, only to find Aella still seated in the same spot, engrossed in a different book.

Just as he was about to greet her, she spoke up before him. "...Welcome back," she muttered, her eyes never leaving the pages.

Although he had been feeling down, her words seemed to lift a slight weight off his chest. "Yeah... thank you," he replied softly as he made his way back to his usual seat.

As he sat down, he picked up the cover of the next book he had planned to read—another fairy tale about a hero who had gone down in the history of this otherworldly realm.

'Hero... I know I've said it before, but I really can't understand them. Why choose such a stressful way of living?' Dawn sighed before casting the book aside.
