Chapter 21: Moonlit Stroll

After school ended, Yuuto leaned his back against the wall, eagerly waiting for Akeno's arrival. Every student that passed by him only casted glances of jealousy and annoyance his way. It seemed like the fangirls had vanished since news of their relationship spread like wildfire throughout the school.

Yuuto scanned the area, keeping his eyes peeled for any signs of trouble. He noticed three perverted boys walking towards him, each with an annoyed expression etched onto their faces. "Tch, lucky bastard," muttered the bald one.

Yuuto replied, his voice calm and measured, "What are you gonna do about it, low-life?"

The trio sensed his confidence and hurried away without looking back, much to Yuuto's amusement.

A few minutes later, Akeno finally arrived, and Yuuto's heart swelled with excitement. She hugged his arm, gazing up at him with adoration. "How long have you been waiting for me?" she asked.

"Not long," he replied, grinning.

"So, where are we gonna go for our date?" Yuuto asked.

Akeno's eyes lit up with excitement. "Let's go to the amusement park! I've been dreaming of going there with my boyfriend."

Yuuto smiled, "Sure, but first let's change our clothes."

On a train ride, Yuuto and Akeno decided to change into the new clothes they had just purchased. They sat side by side, with Akeno holding onto Yuuto's arm.

As she snuggled closer, she couldn't help but take in the scent of his body, smiling in satisfaction at how much she enjoyed it. Despite the slight awkwardness of changing clothes in a public space, they both felt comfortable with each other's presence.

It was clear to anyone observing them that Akeno's affection towards Yuuto was strong, but it was also evident that he didn't mind her clinginess. They chatted and laughed as the train carried them to their destination, oblivious to the curious glances of their fellow passengers.

Although some might view their behaviour as a bit too much, it was obvious that they were just two people who genuinely cared for each other. And as the train rattled on, they continued to enjoy each other's company, excited for what lay ahead.

Yuuto gently caressed Akeno's hair as they waited for the train to come to a stop at their destination. Once they disembarked, they excitedly made their way to the nearby amusement park, looking forward to a day of fun and thrills.

As they wandered through the park, they felt like any other couple, laughing and enjoying each other's company. Their first stop was the roller coaster, which they eagerly climbed aboard.

As the ride took off, Akeno grasped Yuuto's hand with a joyful smile, revelling in the thrill of the coaster's twists and turns. Meanwhile, Yuuto leaned back, feeling a sense of relaxation and calm wash over him, almost like a form of meditation.

It was moments like these that made their bond so strong, as they shared experiences and emotions that brought them closer together. As the day went on, they continued to make memories and have fun, grateful for each other's company and the joy that they brought into each other's lives.

After their exhilarating roller coaster ride, Akeno's eyes lit up as she pointed to a nearby haunted house, eager to explore its dark corridors.

Yuuto smiled, delighted to see her so excited. "Of course, my lovely girlfriend," he said, and they entered the spooky attraction.

As they wandered through the haunted house, Akeno eagerly took in all the creepy sights and sounds, while Yuuto looked on, unimpressed by the jump scares and spooky animatronics.

However, things took a turn when Yuuto managed to scare one of the employees, transforming his face into a terrifying visage that left Akeno looking at him in disbelief.

"Did you really just do that, Yuuto?" she asked, her eyes filled with a mixture of amusement and judgment.

Yuuto chuckled. "Yeah, it was pretty funny," he said, shrugging off the incident.

Next, they headed to play some shooting games, determined to win a plushie prize. Despite coming close to winning them all, they were eventually stopped by one of the park employees.

So, they decided to take a break and grab a bite to eat. Akeno watched Yuuto with a smile as he savoured every bite of his food.

As the day began to wind down, they hopped on a Ferris Wheel, cuddling up close as they watched the sun begin to set. Akeno rested her head on Yuuto's shoulder, feeling content and at peace.

"I wish time could stop," she said, her voice soft and wistful.

Yuuto smiled. "I could do that if you want," he said, his voice playful.

Akeno's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?" she asked.

Yuuto laughed. "Well, it would be pretty hard with my not-so-huge demonic power reserves," he admitted. "But I can create a sword that can stop time if I need to."

Akeno rolled her eyes. "You know I meant that metaphorically, right?" she said, playfully nudging him with her elbow.

Yuuto grinned. "Of course, I'm just messing with you," he said, tightening his embrace around her. "I want you to stay forever in my arms too."

Akeno snuggled in closer, feeling safe and loved. "I love you, Yuuto," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the Ferris Wheel.

"I love you too," Yuuto replied, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of her head as they continued to watch the world spin around them.

It was a chilly autumn night, and the streets were lit only by the soft glow of streetlights. Yuuto and Akeno walked hand in hand, their faces illuminated by the soft moonlight. The city was quiet, with the occasional passerby heading home late at night. They walked past closed stores and dark alleyways, their only company the sound of their footsteps and the rustle of their clothes. Even in the quiet of the night, they could feel the energy between them, the excitement of a date well spent.

"I had a great time tonight," Akeno said, breaking the silence as they walked. "Thank you for taking me out."

Yuuto smiled, his fingers intertwining with hers. "It was my pleasure," he said, his voice warm and tender. "I really like spending time with you, Akeno."

Akeno blushed at Yuuto's words, her heart fluttering in her chest. "I like spending time with you too," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I feel so comfortable and safe with you."

Yuuto's smile widened, and he gave Akeno's hand a gentle squeeze. "That means a lot to me, Akeno. I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what. You can trust me, and I'll always have your back."

Akeno grinned, feeling a warmth spread through her body. She had never felt this way about anyone before, and the knowledge that Yuuto cared about her so deeply filled her with a sense of happiness and contentment that she had never experienced before.

They walked the rest of the way in comfortable silence, each lost in their own thoughts. When they finally arrived at their destinations, Yuuto leaned in to kiss Akeno goodnight. As their lips touched, Akeno felt something shift within her, something that she didn't quite understand. But she knew that whatever it was, Yuuto was a part of it. And she was grateful for it.
