1 Dark days

Give your life to Christ and be saved, I heard the preacher across the road said. It was as if she was talking to me, All within me wanted to run to her, kneel down there, and ask her to pray for me. But, I'm a big boy na, how can I go to the road side and kneel down. I stood there for quite a long time contemplating. Then I came to a conclusion to go to the woman to confess my sins and accept Christ the Saviour. When I was about to cross the road, I heard a tiny voice called me, I looked and saw it was Favour.

Favour was a girl that I've had a crush on since high school days, Many times, I've asked her to be my girlfriend but she refused, telling me that she was not yet ready for a relationship. She insisted that we should be friends. Favour later became my Best Friend. We did everything together, cooked, eat, sleep, play and even hang out together. The closeness we had made it looked as if she was my girlfriend. The naughtiness she tends to portray is one of the things I Loved about her.

Why was Favour calling me at this very critical moment, I asked my self. I wanted to ignore her at first, but my Body started telling me the fun I'd miss if I didn't answer her. Without thinking for another second, I said, Jesus can wait till tomorrow, let me go enjoy myself. I turned back to meet Favour smiling. I hugged her and she told me that we should go to the house. As I was about turning, I heard the preacher said, Jesus is calling you now, tomorrow might be too late. I simply ignored that one with the thought of "I'm too young to die". I'll come to Jesus tomorrow. Just as we were about to cross the road, I heard the screeching sound of a car, and that was all I remembered.

I noticed that I was floating, I was scared at first. Then I Saw myself lying down helplessly and hopelessly on the floor, filled with blood all over my body. I couldn't understand what was going on. By the road side, I saw Favour crying and wailing, I then went to meet Favour but she couldn't hear me. I noticed too that Favour couldn't see me too, I tried touching her but I just went through her. That was when I realised that I was dead. I saw people came and took my body and drove away to God knows where. I didn't even want to follow them. Just then, My soul began it's journey to the underworld it was really a terrible experience. Just then, one thing became clear to me, if I had obeyed the preachers voice, I might have been alive till now, but because of lust, I died and my soul journeyed to a place of Weeping and where I'll have to die over and over again.

Please accept Christ the Saviour now before it'll be too late!!!
