This is meant to be an index of information about the world of Wisteria, the technology, power systems and other general knowledge, it is useful as it written in a concise and informative manner so you can refer to this if need be (but it may contain MINOR SPOILERS as some information will only be revealed later on in the story so read at you own discretion).

⊛ SOUL POWER

Soul power or SP, is a universal energy and the essence of all life. Man and beast all possess it as it is the marker of life and to lose it is to die.

In the world of Wisteria, this universal energy has been taken full advantage of by its inhabitants. The humans have developed soul power in a way that allows them to rank up in incremental stages, each new rank harder to reach than the other.

They have also researched extensively to create a unique technology based on soul power

⊛ TECHNOLOGY

As mentioned before the technology is based on soul power and this essentially means that you are the battery. Most devices only tend to use up power at a rate you can hardly notice so the majority of devices don't pose health risks, prolonged usage of power-intensive devices will use up more SP therefore it is a natural limiter for most people. These are sold at higher prices which is due to the fact that the largest market of customers for soul device companies do not possess high ranks so they have to cater to them. Also it is better for the longevity of the devices as they will not wear down as quickly unless they're made from higher-tier resonants

⊛ RESONANTS

They are materials that can resonate with soul power. You can have metal, crystal and natural resonants. Low-tier resonants can only resonate with soul power, middle and high-tier resonants could possess special properties such as heat resistance. Low-tier resonants are abundant and some high-tier resonants are very heavily guarded.

They can be combined with other materials to other things with unique properties

They are still a few resonants that have yet to be discovered mostly due to scarcity or location

⊛ SYVERNSI AND TEMPLE OF ILIOS:

Syvernisi - the governmental body of Wisteria when combined with the temple of Ilios they control most of human space combined, the Syvernsi focuses on policing and the craftsmen guild

Temple of Ilios(TOI) - they are Practitioners of the Philosophy of Ilios whose 5 pillars are charity, zeal, patience, discipline and wisdom, when one has achieved the perfect they achieve the state of Ilios and escape suffering. They focus on the hospital and library.

The Syvernisi and the TOI joined together to create the Novaium. It is a daughter institute whose purpose is to determine people's aptitudes and manage the academies

⊛ CLASSES

Aptitudes are split in 3 main categories, this isn't a one mould fits all type of situation. Aptitudes can overlap however, there are certain characteristics or lack of characteristics that only belong to each class

Fysikas - aptitudes that increase physical characteristics or create them, for example, increased speed, strength or transformation

Elementas - aptitudes related to natural elements to can be seen, for example, fire, life, light, lightning

Paraxenas - do you the uniqueness of some aptitudes, it is difficult to create separate classes for each so they have been placed into one class that doesn't relate to the other classes, think of them like paramecias in one piece

Protoperios - 0 - 1,000SP

Archerios - 1,001 - 10,000SP

Archioterios - 10,001 - 100,000SP

Kyrios - 100,001 - 1,000,000SP

⊛ BLOODLINES

Beasts do not possess aptitudes, instead, they have bloodlines and limited soul power

Common - common animals that do not possess much harm to humans such as cattle

Elite - capable of using soul power to increase physical strength and speed

Noble - possess enough intelligence to formulate battle plans and traps, they are also able to physically materialise soul power.

Ancestral - capable of understanding human language. They cannot be beaten by any rank below them due to natural superiority related to the strength of their bloodlines
