18 Jaw-dropping speech

Meanwhile, inside a certain Juryoku's room...

"I was so worried!" Nejire shouted, tapping Kotei until they fall on the bed.

She just came back from Ryukyu's agency. When she heard that his class was attacked, she literally rushed through the city to see him. Ryukyu authorized her to go when she saw the worry and urgency in her eyes.

"Ah~ calm down Nejire... I'm not going anywhere." He said, taking her in his arms.

Sensing his strong arms around her, she buried her head even deeper into his torso and began crying.

After a few minutes of Nejire crying and him comforting her, she finally calmed down but kept her head buried into his torso.

"Are you alright now?" He asked, slowly rubbing her back.

"Can we stay like that for a few more minutes?" She asked, turning her head to the side, as if he was a giant cushion.

"As long as you want Nejire." He replied, closing his eyes.

He was pretty tired by the events of today and even thought his body was completely healed, his mind was pressured a lot during the fight. Eventually, the results of going past his limits were showing, making his eyes close fastly and his breathing stabilize, until he finally fell asleep, cuddling with Nejire who was also sleeping soundly.

The next day, Kotei woke up later than usually, surely due to the fatigue.

Looking at the clock at his door, he saw that school began in one hour or so.

Hearing noises, he turned his head to the left as he saw Nejire in a nurse uniform? Walking toward him, bandages in her hands.

"I heard from some of my friend that in situations like this... I must take care of my boyfriend. That's why I'm going to help you wash, dress and bandage!"

"... Bandage? Why would you bandage me?" He asked, pretty puzzled by this part of her plan.

However, he was sure that he was going to enjoy her care.

"Your sister said that I have to or you won't be allowed to train anymore for a few months, so just come here and let me help~."

"She can-" Kotei was gonna refuse but he got an apparition of her devil's like smile. "You know what? I feel a little sore. I'm gonna need some bandages." He said, standing up, walking toward Nejire.

Smiling at his words, Nejire went and kissed him, passionately before they went to the bathroom, fuc- washing.

On his way toward his classroom, Kotei thought about his morning.

After Nejire 'took care' of him in the bathroom, she applied the bandages... everywhere on his body and help him dress as he was pretty much a mummy at this point. As it was her first time applying bandages, so she went a little overboard.

'At least she is cute.' He thought, reaching his class. As they got a little 'occupied' in the bathroom, he was a little late.

Knocking to the door a few times, he opened it and walked in.

Immediately the eyes of everyone in the room fell on the new mummy of the class.

New mummy because he and Aizawa were perfectly matching with their bandages.

"Juryoku? I didn't know that you were so injured."

"I am not. I don't want to talk about that." He replied, closing the door behind him.

"Victim of overzealousness? Welcome to the club." Aizawa said, understanding his situation. The bandages he had on his body were themselves proofs of Recovery Girl overzealousness even though he was not as hurt as what the bandages indicate.

"..." Kotei simply walked to his desk, waiting for Aizawa to finish what he was saying.

"Like I was saying, Yuuei's sports festival is approaching boys and girls.

"A Sports Festival!" "I keep forgetting that this is an actual school!" "Wait hold up, it looks like something villains would try to infiltrate... Will it be alright?" Some students said.

"On the contrary, since we're going ahead with the festival, it means that the school is confident it has all its duck in a row when it comes to crisis control.

You should rather think about what a huge chance the festival is for you all." Aizawa said, making some students chatter before they waited for him to continue.

"Yuuei's festival has taken the place of the Olympics as it became one of the biggest events of Japan. The country's heroes are all sure to be watching as they will be scouting you.

Naturally, entering the squad of a famous hero will get you higher status and more experience. Remember, as time is limited if you get noticed by a pro, that gives you the standing for a brighter future than otherwise.

If you aim to be a hero, this is an event that you can't overlook." He said, ending his speech.

At the noonday break...

'So... We got three chances, one per year. Mhm...' Kotei thought, his head turned toward the ceiling.

"Kotei? Are you alright?" Momo asked, her eyes were full of worry.

"Yes. Why wouldn't I?" He asked back, raising an eyebrow.

"Because you are full of bandages." Another voice was heard as Kyoka turned her chair to talk with them.

"Well, it was more like a condition for me to come to school, there's nothing to worry about, I am perfectly fine." He replied, turning his head toward the louder group.

They seem to have been pretty fired up by the prospect of the festival, even Uraraka had a scary face.

"Looks like Sensei's speech really fired them up." Kyoka said, following his stare.

"Yeah, they are all very excited... What about you Kotei? With all the bandage we can't see your face at all." She said, looking at his bandaged face, even less expressive than usual.

"Try to not stay in my shadow." He said, his smirk hidden behind by the bandage.

"Hey! That's the first time you are being arrogant." Kyoka said, following behind his and Momo's figure as they walked through the door.

"What can I say... People change, in my case... I evolve."

-*-*-*-

A few hours later, school just ended.

"What the heck?!" The shout of Uraraka was heard throughout the class, making the students look toward her source of distress.

A wall of students was standing just in front of their door, blocking their exit.

"They're crowding the exit! What are they here for?" Midoriya asked, genuinely surprised to see them.

"They're scoping out the competition, retard." Bakugou replied, walking toward the door.

Kotei was currently walking toward the exit too as he was eager to rip apart the bandages which were restricting most of his movements.

"They want to see the class who fought against villains, checking the enemies before a battle, that's a common strategy. I'm surprised you don't know that." Kotei said, stopping before the students.

"It's pointless to try, so why don't you fuck off ya goddamn mob." Bakugou said, not caring about the look of anger he brought to himself.

"Don't go calling people you don't know a 'mob' right off the bat!" Iida shouted behind but was promptly ignored.

"I have to agree with him. Your presence here is useless so disappear, please." Kotei added, antagonizing even more students.

"Are all the kids enrolled at the department of heroics this way? Arrogant like some sort of young nobles?" The voice belonged to a student who walked to the front of the crowd.

"Huh?!" Hearing that, Bakugou's mood seems to worsen.

"I'm a bit disillusioned so that's it?" He said, looking at Bakugou and Kotei.

"There's a lot of guys who wind up in the general education department or other departments because they failed the heroics one. Did you know that?" He asked, making Kotei and Bakugou raise an eyebrow.

"What?" Kotei asked.

"I sai-"

"No. I mean 'What' like 'How the fuck is it my problem?' not 'please repeat'." His sentence made everyone's jaw drop and Katsuki almost dropped a tear of proudness.

"If you are not happy with your situation then become strong enough to change it. Don't go around declaring war on people you can't contend with. Actions speak louder than words.

Now... Step aside." Kotei said, almost immediately making some student move aside, creating a passage for him.

"Thanks." He said before walking by them and disappearing at a turn."

"..." Everyone was speechless due to what just happened.

The silence was soon broken by a voice.

"So. Man. Ly."
