He stopped walking and raised his head. Cameras came flashing and reporters held up their recorder and microphone, ready to record whatever the newly elected commissioner had to say
"30 years to be precise princess!" He said and then proceeded
... "Sir, what's gonna happen to the Districts who didn't cast their votes for you?....

With all the questions thrown his way, he never stopped walking. His car came around and drove off immediately he was settled inside.
"Where to sir!?"..... The driver asked
"The Casino!" He replied trying to loose his tie
"Yes sir!"..... The Driver replied
" V?!"He called
"Yes Sir?!" The driver replied
" What punishment should I give out to those who dissappointed me huh?...., I mean those who didn't vote me in as the commissioner?"....
"I'm not sure about that sir. Only you can decide" He replied

"Mom, whats wrong" Samantha said while chewing on a candy
"Well, I cant find this stupid girl and she wont even answer when I call..... Vanessa!!" She continued shouting
"Yes mom!" Vanessa ran out while trying to wipe her hands clean with her torn dress
"Where the heck have you been huh, do you just enjoy watching me scream on top of my lungs, you witch!" Her mom said while pulling her hair
"Aaaush!!, It hurts mom" She saidwhile trying to free herself
"Well, where have you been huh, will you stop stressing my mom!?" Samantha asked with a smirk
"I was in the kitchen, please stop" She said
"Well, if you had done what you ought to have done earlier, then you won't be in the kitchen by this time of the day, dont you think?!" Her mom said and finally released her hair
"Well, she's gotten lazy lately mom!, I think that's because you've gone too soft" Samantha said
"... Well...., maybe if you consider helping me with the chores, then I won't have to take.... " She couldn't finish her sentence because her mom slapped her across the cheek
"Don't you dare!, don't you dare compare my daughter to yourself, she's totally not in your level.....
Vanessa's mom died when she was just 16 years of age and her mom's sister took her in. At first, everything was good and she had a really good relationship with her daughter, Samantha. But then all of a sudden, her father proposed marriage to her mom's sister saying she was going to serve as a mother figure for her. Vanessa agreed immediately because she thought it was all in the name of bringing the family together and she didn't dare to object. But then, weeks after their marriage, her stepmom chamged completely and she regretted her actions immediately. Worse of all, her dad turned a blind eye to every injustice, torment and torture Vanessa faced in the hands of her stepmom. Vanessa had to earn money at a very young age because her stepmom would sometimes starve her and she was made to work in the kitchen alone. She did the dishes, washed the clothes, fetched water because they lived in a rural environment, she also ran errands for the family but Samantha became the jewel of the family. Her dad spends money lavishly and buys alot of cosmetic product and makeovers for Samantha. Vanessa spends most of her days in the kitchen and at work so she didnt think it was necessary to apply makeups and she became uglier with every single day. Samantha and her mom took turns in calling her names like"Witch abd Female Grinch!".Vanessa became the family's sole income earner but that didn't spare her from hef Stepmom and Samantha's Physical abuse and this gave Vanessa alot of scars, both emotional and physical scars. Vanessa also had an illness called Nyctalopia(Night Blindness). The Doctor adviced her to take medicine but her stepmom said they were on a family low budget plan and that her health issues will havs to wait. Vanessa lost all hope of life's fun and always saw life as a place only the rich or powerful can enjoy. She'll always say"Even the man with the smallest power holds enough to destroy!"...
.... "Mom-mom-mom!" Samantha shouted
"Geeeeeez, what's wrong?!" Why are you yelling?"Her mom replied
"I have bad news mom!" She replied trying to catch her breath
"Go on, but keep calm" Her mom said trying to calm her down
"George Cruz just won the election!" She said admist her panic
"What?!, How is that even possible?!" She replied
"I don't know mom but somehow, Senator Degusman withdrew his candidacy at last minute. My guess is George Cruz must have talked him talked him into it" She replied
"Oh no!. This can't be happening! Degusman was our only hope, he was the last piece of string we were holding on to, how..... " She said
"Mom!, mom!"Samantha called
" What?!, Why do you keep on calling my name huh?!"Her mom replied feeling irritated
"Well, I was gonna say all hope isn't lost yet. You know, Mr. Cruz might just decide to pardon us. I mean he's probably too busy with his work and might not pay attention to us" Samantha said while checking her polished nails
"Well, we cant be too sure. I just hope everything works out or else we might have to move out of the house and we have no source of income for now" Her mom said with a worried face

"Mr.Commissioner!, Mr. Commissioner!" Arnaldo said while raising his hands
"Watsup" George replied
"Well, other than the fact that my friend just won the election, nothing's up!" He said and pointed in the direction of a sexxy lady sitting alone
"When did she arrive?" George asked witha frown
"Not too long and she's had that expression all day. Don't keep her waiting G" He said fondly
George looked at him with a smirk and stood up but Arnaldo stopped him
"Do.Not Cause.A.Scene.In.My.Bar.House!Ok?" He said firmly
"Yes sir and its a casino anyways" George said then walked up to the lady
"Hmmmm hmmmn" He cleared his throat
"You are late, again" The woman said without raising her head
"I'm sorry" He said with a bow
"That wont cut it" She said and shot him a deadly glare
"I'll make it up to you" George said and sat beside her
"Just get married already!" She said and pushed him in the chest
"Wow, Arnaldo already said not to make a scene Bianca" He said and stood up
"Whatever!" She said while staring at him
"I'm off" He said and started walking away
"Where to?!" She shouted
"Make some deliquents pay for their mistakes" He said without stopping
