552 552. KNOCK KNOCK

Edward and Alphonse spent the night fixing the destroyed room. In the morning, they all gathered and decided to test the philosopher's stone. The way they were going to test was simple. They would try to transmute a rabbit's missing limb.

If they were able to do it, then it would mean that this stone was the real Philosopher's stone.

After a while, Izumi's husband brought the rabbit. It was missing a leg. Izumi was going to conduct the experiment as she was the most experienced when it came to Alchemy.

She drew the transmutation circle on the floor and put the rabbit and the stone in it. Then she activated it with care.

White light started to appear on the matrix on the floor. It grew more and more bright with each passing second.

"It's working..." Edward exclaimed in excitement. He could already see his limbs and Alphonse's body in grasp.

But when they thought everything was going smoothly, an explosion occurred. The rabbit blew up.

*BOOM*

This was a much bigger explosion than before. All of them were thrown away due to the blast. The whole roof of the house was also missing. When the dust settled, they saw the real damage.

It wasn't just the roof that was missing. The whole east side of the house was gone and all of them had fallen down to the ground floor. They opened their eyes and looked around to see what limb they were missing because there was no way they could have survived this unscathed. Not even the huge Sig Curtis.

But they were still safe and secure. They then noticed a bluish light covering them inside a sphere.

"Huh, you all are so stupid to be doing this without any protective measures. I just went to catch some fish and you guys are already trying to kill yourself." Hats' voice came.

Hats was hovering in mid-air in order to not get his fur dirty.

Ajax coughed and cleaned his hair. "You're the one to talk, Hats. You are the embodiment of Chaos."

"Well, I'm your nanny, now." Hats replied.

"DAMMIT!" Edward punched the floor.

"Calm down brother, at least we know that Philosopher's stones can be made. Maybe this one was incomplete." Alphonse tried to calm him down.

Ajax quickly defended his homemade philosopher's stone. "Hey! No, my philosopher's stone was complete. It's just that your philosopher's stone is too cruel. Don't you understand? The reason my stone doesn't work when trying to transmute the human body is because the stone needs human souls. That's the price needed to construct a body or bargain with whatever this truth guy is."

Everyone there had doubts about it but they did not want to believe it. However, today, they knew it was true and they had to believe it.

*Sigh*

Izumi looked at Hats gratefully, "I don't know what you are and I won't ask you. Thank you for saving all of us today."

"I won't bankrupt you, just pay me with a milk bottle." Hats replied lazily.

For the whole day and night, they again spent their time repairing their home. But, just when they finished. A knock came on the door.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Izumi went ahead and opened the door. Only to find a kind-looking old woman and a beautiful woman on the side.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Hello, I am Olivia, is Ajax inside? He's my grandson."

...

Inside the house,

When the knock on the door came. Ajax was relaxing on the sofa. But, suddenly, his hair stood up and he felt goosebumps.

Hats, who was also relaxing beside him, felt it too.

"Ajax, I feel threatened." Hats said.

"I don't feel Grandpa nearby." Ajax wondered.

Hats shuddered, "No, it's worse than that."

...

Central City,

Alexander was in his office when he received a notification from Dobby that Fuhrer had left his office for some reason. Because Dobby had already infiltrated Fuhrer's inner circle, he quickly found out that Bradley was going south for some reason.

~Hmm, Ajax and Elric brothers are there too. What could be the reason for Bradley to go there?~ he wondered.

"Leonidas, let's go south. Write in the official report that I am going there to meet my grandson and also inspect the southern border and headquarters." Alexander announced.

"Okay, dad," Leonidas understood the plan and left.

...

Hell,

Alexander had sent a category 4 to Hell and it deserved the highest honor. So, Deadpool went to do his duty as usual. He waited at the entry booth.

But, he only saw a fat, round man with a big nose and dots for eyes.

Deadpool read the report, "Ah, okay, let's see. The name is gluttony. Not a human. Killed people by eating them. Dumb from the brain and does as asked. Has a dimension inside the belly where all food goes to... bla bla bla."

Deadpool excitedly looked at Gluttony as if this was a treasure. "Gluttony, my man. You are going to get me promoted again. We will both be LEGENDARY in hell."

"THANOS! Let's go, I've got some work to do. Ah, stop making that face. I know I sent fake Antman up your butthole and expanded it but still, you didn't die, your ass is too strong. Sure, it must have hurt but you are a strong lad and I know it. You still got your Lusty Night of Dread to attend to." Deadpool talked to his chat companion for the day.

He then dragged Gluttony with him. "You must be hungry. I got the best place for you to eat. Hell has lots of flesh waste from so many punishments given. Lucifer has been complaining to me about hygiene and a possible virus spreading due to it. I will solve the problem and get a promotion... NO! DOUBLE PROMOTION."

He brought gluttony to the deepest part of the hell where all the waste was thrown at.

"This will be your home, eat all you want. I trust you, Gluttony, don't break it." Deadpool said and ran away happily while jumping.

~Finally, after these promotions, I will be able to do field missions. Oh, let's go to Voldemort today, I need to test my new invention on him. If all things go well, then my machine, 'Sausage party of all holes' will be another hit. HEHAHAHA...~
