Chapter 10

"It's almost lunchtime so we will now have a break."

Uchika walks toward the room where Aki enters to tell her to take a break and get ready for lunch.

Getting back to Soji Uchika says. "Well before we go to eat lunch how about we clean this mess first."

Seeing the mess of scattered balls he nods in agreement.

Chapter 10

After getting the necessary pieces of equipment for the task, they began to clean up.

After cleaning up Uchika urges Soji to go in the changing room to change first before they eat.

Soji complied and goes to the room where Uchika points to change his clothes.

Entering it he sees a bench where you can put your bag.

After changing and applying deodorant, he sees Uchika on the phone seemingly trying to order food.

Ending the call and seeing Soji already finish changing clothes both Uchika and Aki enter the changing room to change.

Seeing both of them walk out of the room Soji asks. "Umm, I have been curious since we arrive here but what is with this place? And how can we use this?"

"Oh, this" Uchika said while looking around the building interior.

"This is my proudest work. I have this build when I was still playing like a pro so I can train on my own, not needing to have to train most of the time in other countries."

"Is it about patriotism?"

"No it is not about that, but when I started out and the tennis here in japan is still not developed as it is now. I have a hard time just trying to go to training facilities in other countries because I don't have any connections."

"Now it is much better but you still need a lot of money, also with different conversion rates of our currencies it is pretty hard."

Uchika then goes on to tell about what she went through as a pro till her phone ring notifying her that the food is here.

"Let us go to the house so I can get the food and eat it there."

Getting up and leaving the covered court, they start walking through the driveway connecting the court and the house.

That's why when Uchika says she will park the car Aki already move to the court with Soji in towed when they arrive here.

Arriving at the house Soji sees a large two-story modern house.

After eating and getting back to the court Uchika tells them, "I want you to reflect for one hour about what it is you can do better in your last play."

Not sure why they needed to do this Soji ask. "What's the use of this Coach?"

Knowing that Soji hasn't done this before she answered. "It is so that you can use the breaks more productively and go for an easier win in the next bout."

"Although normally it's bad to think about the past, by thinking about what you can do or how to react better can help so your next play will be much smoother."

Not arguing with that Soji thought about when his mother teaches him art and how his father makes him read stories of the same author from their first release to their latest and witness the change in writing.

Complying with Uchika's instruction Soji sit beside Aki and copies her.

Closing his eyes he thought about what he can do better in their match and what he has to let go since it is inevitable.

Spending one hour in total silence both of them hears a clap that makes them come out of their stupor.

"Aki go get the tennis machine from the storage room and practice your balls while I test Soji physical stats"

After performing all the tests Soji is sitting on the chair while slightly panting.

Looking at his stats Uchika sees that his result is on the advanced level above his age range.

Impress by this she asks. "Do you train after your club activity?"

Looking at her he answered. "Yes since I was on elementary school club I always just repeat the drill that we have been given if I can't access the court."
