10 CH 09: MMO stands for massively multiplayer online game, so those who use bots in MMO are nothing more than a worthless player who has no life or friend

"That is a lot of information. I had never heard about this sub-class; this is... interesting, to say the least."

Hao's plan was simple; he knew that levelling up his stats in a certain way could affect his sub-class, so he mainly focused on AGI and INT stat so that he could get the sub-class he wanted which is Arcane Trickster.

However, he would never expect that his gameplay style would also affect what sub-class he gets. For all he can remember, this had never happened to him before or happened to anyone.

"Not only that..."

Arcsnake Trickster Hao had never heard about this sub-class before, he had no idea about this sub-class's strengths or weaknesses, and he had no idea how to unlock more skills or abilities for this sub-class.

He had never heard or even heard a rumour about this class. He had never heard about the skill All-Kind Deriving Action, a skill this detail and can do this much would be very popular in Hao's past, but this was the first time he had seen this skill.

Hao knows that in a massive game like GEP, it is nearly impossible to find all the secrets that the game has. No matter how big the game gets, there will always be at least one secret that no one would have ever found, not to mention every update that would add more content into the game, some content that had not been said in the patch.

Whether that is a good or bad thing depends on the hidden content.

However, despite him, Hao had never heard about this before; all he could feel deep down was not despair or frustration; he was feeling the opposite of those emotions right now.

All Hao can feel right now is excitement.

The sense of discovery and learning about a new sub-class he had never heard about caused Hao to feel giddy inside. With all the possible skills and secrets he can discover in this class, Hao cannot but only feel a massive excitement inside him.

'All-Kind Deriving Action... let's see...'

'Falling blade seems like a good combo ender with its status of knocking down an enemy on hit, not to mention the hit from doesn't count as using a dagger, meaning you can use it and still be able to perform perfect execution. Not to mention the invulnerable frame I have while air-borne.

Rising Blade, this one seems to be a good opener for a combo considering a guard-breaking status, or maybe I can use it as a mix-up in a fight, not to mention, from a description, this can be used as a DP if I were charging it while on the ground. With an invulnerable start-up, this one can be pretty decent.

Piercing Blade... seems like a perfect extender considering it will stagger when, and this one also doesn't count as a weapon, so that is very good, but it seems to be not much used in anything else.

And the last one is...

Devouring Blade, an invulnerable dash, that if the land is a grab, I guess it's not bad for resetting things to neutral. The invulnerable dash would be a fantastic tool in movement; let's hope there are not many recovering frames.' Hao thought while looking at the new skill he got.

"This skill is not bad at all; you get four actions for one skill; this is not bad at all," Hao said before continuing to his next plan. "But man, the perfect execution mechanic sucks; it's so fucking hard just to perform one with that ridiculous requirement."

"*sigh* No wonder why rogue suck at the beginning of the game. I cannot wait for that rogue rework on the second patch."

"Now, I should farm for the three items I need. Now, if I remember correctly, the three-item I want should be..."

"Dracoboros, Thunder-romancer and Exodus Yomi, those three items are the ones I wanted. The easiest one I can get right now should be Exodus Yomi." Hao explains, "But then again, getting the Dracoboros now would be amazing, and it probably much cooler than the Exodus, but it is also the hardest."

Now Hao is trying to decide whether to get the Dracoboros first or the Exodus Yomi first. In Hao's mind, he is trying to rationalise that he should get Exodus first, but at the same time, the gamer side of him is telling him to get the Dracoboros.

"The hardest choices require the strongest wills." Hao mutter

In the end, the one that wins is...

"Let's go get the Dracoboros. After all, it is the hardest; doing it first, then later would be less hassle in the long run."

Finally making up his mind, Hao starts to move again after standing in one spot, simply thinking about what to do next.

'If I remember correctly, the only way to get this item is to do that quest. What is its name again? Um... Oh! The Dragon Chain That Wrapped Around The World is the quest name! The quest location should be at the back of the church of this city.'

'But first, I should connect with the Telegorn. I nearly forget about it."

With no wasted time, Hao made his way toward the Telegorn in the middle of the city. While making his way there, no player seems to notice Hao walking past them, despite his username having just been announced in the global chat not far too long again.

Then again, in this game, usernames are not visible to other players unless you are in the same party in the game or the dungeon or raid.

Finally, reaching the Telegorn, touch the crystal before connecting with it; with it, he can now teleport to the city by using another Telegorn in different cities.

'Now then, I should make my way to-' Before Hao could finish, someone interrupted his thought.

"Hey, you!!" Someone shouts, causing Hao to look at the noise source. He then saw it was a group player, around 5 of them being led by what seemed to be a male player with a knight class. Hao can only look around before seeing no other players around the crystal before pointing at himself. "Yes, you, I'm talking to you. Stay right there."

Hao only blinks in confusion, seeing the group player coming toward him.

"Can I help you?" Hao asks, with an evident confusion in his tone.

"Are you the player name Actuallyfiend?" The leader of the group asks

"Uh, no?" Hao lied naturally as he breath

"Don't lie; we used an Osser on you; I see your username." The leader responds back

Osser or Osservazione is an item that looks like a crystal that you can buy from an item shop in the city. It is a cheap item that can be used by crushing them, giving you a status where you can see other player usernames for the next 30 minutes.

It was an item that players like to buy when trying to find other players that are not in the same party. It also identifies additional players to ensure they cannot lie about their identity.

The moment Hao heard that they used an Osser, Hao could not help but snap back.

"If you already know who I am, then why the fuck are you asking whether I am him or not?" Hao could not help but snap back.

"Oi, don't be rude to the captain!! He was trying to be nice to you!!" Someone from the group shout

"I'm sorry, but I don't care." Hao immediately responded back

"Oh, do you think you are some big shot because you are the first person to clear the dungeon solo!? Don't be cocky, you bastard!" The same guy from before responded.

"Enough!! We are not here to antagonise him!" The leader finally intervenes before all of this goes out of control."I'm sorry about him." The leader said

"Yeah, yeah, as I said, I don't care. So tell me, what does all of you want?" Hao asks while waving his arm before making eye contact with the leader.

"I will get to the point then. I want to recruit you to our guild, Asgard. What do you say?"

'Asgard...? Ain't that the guild led by the spoiled brat name Joseph? I remember it gets massive due to how much that brat spends money into this game.'

Asgard is the name of one of the powerful four guilds in GEP; it is one of the most influential guilds in the whole game in the future. It is led by a player named Kingbillionare, Joseph Wareal, a son of a billionaire in real life.

He is probably why his guild becomes so powerful and successful, not because he is a skilful player or a good strategist. The reason why the guild becomes so successful is because of money. He used the money to buy good gear from other players and paid players to join his guild, attracting both weak and powerful players.

After all, money does make the world go round.

This is why, in Hao's eyes, Joseph Wareal is nothing more than a spoiled brat who has too much money to throw around.
