Hao quickly dodges out of the way of the massive skeleton arm that swings toward him. The air pressure caused Hao to lose his balance, but he was stable in time before looking around the room, trying to find the undead sorcerer.

But Hao cannot see the undead sorcerer anyway, so he decides to focus back on the massive skeleton that is coming toward him.

With an unnatural speed, the skeleton colossus could quickly clear the distance between Hao and it. Hao can only look up before seeing the skeleton swing its arm down toward him again. Hao could dodge away quickly by sliding himself between the skeleton's legs.

Appearing behind the skeleton, Hao starts swinging his dagger at the back of the massive skeleton, and with the buff from Backstab, every hit in the back is now a confirmed critical hit; not only that, Hao's concentration is at its peak, and for every ten hits, 8 out of ten of those would be a Just Frame hit.

But due to differences in size, the skeleton colossus cannot be staggered and was able to turn around and lock its gaze with Hao, who is totally in the zone right now.

An intense exchange in blows pursuit, for every single attack the skeleton do, Hao would dodge to be behind the skeleton giant and land ten more hits toward the back of the massive skeleton.

It was like a dance between life and death, for Hao knew that a single from the massive skeleton could one-shot him; while he had no proof, he certainly would not want to entertain the idea of taking to see can the skeleton one-shot him or not.

Hao's concentration had long surpassed the limit, and his mind was operating at 110%; he picked up on every slight movement of the skeleton, and with a massive amount of knowledge and experience he had with the game, Hao was able to predict the attacks of the skeleton colossus slightly.

'Dodge left, hit hit, hit hit hit, hit hit, dodge...'

It was a long battle between Hao and the skeleton giant; Hao had not to mutter a single word the only thing in his mind was to defeat the skeleton in front of him and the pattern of what he should do.

After what seemed like an eternity for Hao, the massive skeleton started to shake violently, in which Hao's immediate reaction was to get far away as possible from the skeleton.

With one violent burst, the skeleton explodes into pieces, and its bone spreads in a wide area, hitting everything in its path; Hao quickly puts his guard up, knowing how he would not be able to dodge the attack.

Hao can only curse at the situation after seeing his HP because now he knows he cannot get hit again. After all, that would mean instant death for him.

This time, after the skeleton crumbles, the undead sorcerer appears again. The undead red gaze locks onto Hao's eyes with such intensity that if the look could kill, Hao would undoubtedly be dead right now.

"This... END NOW!!" The undead sorcerer screamed with such incredible vigour that it seemed like the bone of the undead itself started to shake from the scream alone.

As the undead raised his hand, a massive fireball appeared above the undead head, bringing the heat with such intensity that the undead cloth began to burn from it alone. In contrast, Hao could feel the heat, standing far away from the undead. It was not enough for him to take damage from it.

Hao, who is still at his total concentration and with adrenaline pumping into his mind, only watches the sorcerer conjure up the massive miniature sun silently, knowing that getting too close to the undead would cause him to start to feel the burn damage, but at the same time, he knows that stand there doing nothing is also a horrible thing to do, but he cannot do anything about it due to the situation that he is currently in right now,

In the end, he came up with a plan that would ensure his survival, but the chance of it succeeding is low because it requires exact timing and execution; doing it too late or too slow would certainly seal Hao's fate.

With a mighty roar that seems to have shaken the ground they stand, the undead throws the miniature sun at Hao, who can only look at the small sun with such intensity that it can even burn itself.

With the sun coming closer and despite facing certain death, Hao's mind is calm as the ocean; there was no panic, no hesitation, and no thought of the past or the future. Hao thought only focused on the now, the present.

With the small sun closing in, Hao starts to take burn damage from the attack, yet his mind is as calm as ever. Hao's mind is totally in the zone and only focuses on the undead and the closing miniature sun in front of him.

'NOW!!'

Suddenly, Hao, standing still the entire time and waiting for the sun to come closer to him, disappeared from the spot, causing the sun to miss him entirely.

And in what seems to be a flash, Hao appears behind the back of the undead sorcerer, who immediately gets stunned by the effect of the activation of Backstab.

Pulling out both of his daggers, Hao started to attack the weak undead who had also been affected by the amount of burn damage from his attack.

It was fast, quick and swift, the undead sorcerer who had been incredibly damaged fell to its knee before screaming in agony, and the next Hao know, the undead started to crumble and turn into stone before finally turning into dust that seemed to be blown away by the wind.

Hao did not care about any of the pops in front of him; he was only standing with a heavy breath before slumping and sitting down on the ground before exhaling loudly.

"Finally... that took forever! What an absolute pain that was." Hao said while looking up toward the ceiling before looking down with a small smile. "But I guess that wasn't so bad, and the challenge was fun to overcome. Definitely recommended, 8 out of 10."

With a small laugh, Hao stands back up slowly before checking his stat and quickly spending his stat points.

Hao sighed loudly before turning his gaze toward the chest that had appeared in the middle of the room.

"Now, if I remember correctly, I should be rewarded with legendary growth-type gear," Hao said while putting his hand on the chest, not wanting to open it yet.

Regarding loot or gear in GEP, there are six different rarities, common(white), uncommon(green), rare(blue), epic(purple), legendary(orange) and mythic(red).

When it comes to mythic gear, the only way for it to drop is for the player to clear a raid in the most challenging difficulties, with the chance of it dropping being so low that one mythic item price can skyrocket to a million if not a billion if the gear has a fantastic stat and effect.

Then there, growth-type gear, to put it simply, is a type of gear that will get stronger the more the player uses it, and when it reaches its max level, it can be upgraded to a higher quality. Every rarity gear can be a growth-type, and the difficulties of levelling it up also depend on the current rarity of the equipment.

This means that the legendary growth type would be the hardest to level up because its next upgrade would change it into a mythic gear.

"Now, God, I haven't asked you for much; I know you probably exist due to my circumstance, so please, I beg of you, give me something good that would be perfect for my plan."

And with a deep breath, Hao opens the chest to see his rewards.
