Alan could only see darkness. He is now on a ship that takes him to an island some distance from the city.

"Bring some of them." The voice of a troop leader entered Alan's ears.

Alan could feel the ship going down, then an officer whispered. "Let's go."

Alan was led off the ship with several other people. As soon as he planted his feet on the ground, he felt 11 individuals walking in various directions. If one person is an officer accompanying him, then the others are five participants accompanied by other officers.

"Here." The officer stopped Alan at one point. "Remember, don't take off your blindfold until you get the command."

"OK, sir," Alan replied. "Thank You."

The officer then left. Alan increased his ground detection abilities, as there were no rules against it. He didn't feel anyone else, a sign they were far away. However, he could feel the boulders around him. Stones are part of the earth's elements.
