"Celia just sent us a signal," Alan explained in a low voice while running through the city streets. "You feel it too, right?"

"Yeah, I could feel the vibration from the device," Haruna replied. "I hope nothing too bad happens."

They turned at an intersection, and suddenly someone landed in front of them.

"That long-range device is something very ordinary. I know from your gesture when you get a signal." Cage, the blonde-haired man from the restaurant, smirked. "Well, I didn't come to talk about that. Let's make a deal over the wyvern. Some people dare to buy it at a high price, you know?"

Alan narrowed his eyes. "Your people want to kidnap our wyvern?"

He didn't feel Cage coming. Did the blonde-haired man come by jumping from one rooftop to another?

"I just want to say, this doesn't need to end in violence." Cage stepped forward while widening his smile. "I assure you. Your wyvern will be safe at our buyer's place. So, order that animal to be kind so we can take it with ease."
