Breaking the Bad News

The next 'Morning' we all had gotten up and we're ready to head out, I was completely healed after resting for a night for my body to regenerate as good as new.

"Huh, that's rather convenient to have to heal yourself with Master." Caster says looking over my healed form.

"Hmph, so long as I'm not killed I can recover from any injury given to me." I say as I roll my shoulders and crack my neck.

"You guys ready?"

"I've rested enough." (Caster)

"Ready to go senpai." (Mash)

"Ughh…. My neck…" (Olga)

"Good we're ready to go then." I say heading on out of the building.

"Wait! I'm not!" (Olga)

"Don't care, we have a job to do, and the longer we take the more damage it does to the world right? We don't have the luxury to wait around." I say as we keep following Caster who is leading the way to both Lancer and Saber.

"Hmph!" She says as she turns her head to the side.

"Just stay behind us and let the adults do all the work." I say before once ignoring her again.

"Hey! I'm an adult too!!"

"Really? I could swear that I'm talking to a child right now…. 'Then again being well over 12,000 years old everyone is like a child in my eyes….. Then again I've only been awake for only 28 of those well over 12,000 years…..'" the last parts I say quietly to myself.

"Grrrrr!!!" She was clearly getting furious at what I was saying, but I didn't care, but that doesn't mean I don't care for her, she reminds me a lot of my daughter in a certain way, though she is clearly older than my daughter (excluding 12,000 years of me being dead that is where she was used as a power source while I was away)

"…. Mithra…. I hope you lived a good life…." I say to myself as I continue on.

Though the situation I find myself in is strange…. I'm for some reason alive again, for the third time, but I'm not fighting to save my daughter or for revenge.

I saved her and my rage and wrath should have faded, but they are still there, though unlike before I have control over it unlike how I was throughout my life always angry even when I was at home, making it hard for me to show any positive emotions even around my family, though they got used to it over time but I always hated that I could never control my temper, but at least I have some semblance of control now.

But something has been nagging at me this entire time, Olga, something seems off about her to me.

So I stop and turn to look at her, she was still in a huff and pouting from what I said.

"What? You wanna make fun of me some more?!" Clearly she's peeved, but I just hold out my hand to her.

"I'm not taking your hand you know…."

"Just do it, I dunno what but something seems off about you compared to when I met you back in Chaldea…."

"And what does taking your hand change anything, you've held me before and you didn't notice anything." She's talking about when I carried her like a sack of potatoes.

"We were in a rush earlier, but I still felt something wasn't right when I held you, now take my hand, before I do it for you." I say clearly getting pissed, both Mash and Caster had stopped and come back when they realized we weren't following them, but stayed quiet and listened to us.

"Ugh, fine." She says as she grabs my hand, "There you hap-" but she stops as she realizes that her hand glows in a greenish light as it begins to fade away before pulling it back in fear, but soon her hand returns to normal.

"What the hell was that?! What did you do to me?!" She says pointing her finger at me while clearly scared of what just happened.

"Olga…. I'm sorry to say this as I hoped what I guessed was wrong but it isn't, Caster….. do you have a spell you can use to detect life?" I say turning to him.

His eyes widen as he realizes what I'm insinuating, "Are you sure?"

"I am, that only happens with one form of life after all."

"What the hell are you two talking about?!" She was clearly on edge as what she thinks is happening can't be real right?

"beatha a lorg!" Caster says as he slams his staff into the ground as an energy wave goes out in a short range, but it's well enough to cover us all.

All of us have a small light in our chests light up, but Olga's whole body lights up as a result.

I just shake my head as I look at Olga sadly, "I'm sorry but…. Your already dead, you must have died in those explosions, but your soul was able to come here with us somehow."

Hearing that she falls to her knees as tears flow out from her eyes, "I'm dead….?"

"Chief…." (Mash)

"Well shit…. Dealing with spirits isn't my specialty…." (Caster)

I kneel down in front of her as I think, then I think of something, it's crazy but maybe it will work, or at least keep her souls from disappearing once this singularity is fixed.

"Olga…. I have a way to keep your soul from disappearing once this is all over, it's risky but it's the best bet we have."

A small light of hope came back into her eyes hearing that, "…. I don't want to die…. If you can save me, please, no matter how crazy…. I'll do it…." She was clearly grasping at straws here, trying to grab anything that can pull her out from this abyss, she honestly didn't want to believe she's dead, but being shown proof twice that her body is only a soul not a true body, she came to reality real quick of her situation.

I nod as I open up my cybernetic chest to reveal my Mantra core underneath to both Caster and Mashes amazement.

"This is my Mantra core, it's meant to store souls, originally it was to convert souls into energy, but after it was put in me it's a container to hold all my excess Wrath Energy, there are no other souls in there anymore, this would be the safest place for you to reside in until we figure something out, I don't know if you will be awake or asleep until we get you a new body for your soul to inhabit, but this is the best shot we got to reviving you." I say as I look at it before looking at her.

"This is the best I got, otherwise after this is all over there's a good chance your soul will just disperse into nothing as a result." I've dealt with souls during my time as one of the Guardian Generals as we gained Mantra from faith or from the souls of dead Humans, but after swearing vengeance I never needed Mantra that way as my Wrath would suffice instead.

She gently nods her head, as I hold out my hand which she places her hand onto before I take her hand and place it on my core.

Soon after a green light envelopes her as she disappears and only a small green light appears as it enters the Mantra Core, which I put full focus on to place it as far away from my energy container as possible.

After a bit of messing around I was able to put her in the same place as the quartz and quartz fragments, I guess I could call it my inventory, but good she's in a safe place now, and based upon what I can see when I look within she is curled up in a ball floating but clearly asleep.

I stand up as my chest panels shut before turning to them, "She's fine, I was able to keep her away from my energy storage, she'll be in a deep sleep until we find a way to revive her later down the line, now let's focus on getting this done, alright?"

"You got it." (Caster)

"Yes Senpai!" (Mash)

"Good, let's end this shit then." I say as we proceed to close in our final destination.

So I did the random servant pull for only the story mode, and on the first 10+1 pull guess who I got? A certain caster who will make things easier once he pops up in the first round of summonings which the first round of summoning are gonna be everyone in this singularity, obviously, and 2 others which includes that caster I mentioned, and the last one is a surprise.
